I've seen these falls lots of times from your videos, but only from the point of view of the tracks...the drone shows how huge and magnificent the falls are. I looked for the maiden in her red gown on the ruins, but couldn't make her out from that height.
Hi RCG, greetings from Australia, it's strange how you can miss someone that you don't know, and don't know what they look like, I have enjoyed so many of your videos over the passed several months, your part of this messed up world is so spectacular, and seeing it from the cab of a train, is breathtaking, and an opportunity to "travel" when it's not an option. I'm sure that when you return, it will be a new experience for not only you, but your dedicated followers, to be in a different part of the country, and in different trains...and I hope that "your" new company will allow you to still record your journeys, and that you are able to post many videos, in the times to come. Indeed! I'm glad i filmed it early in the summer. We've had a draught here that has lasted for months the water table is now at a critical point. The western part of the country usually is very humid, but this summer, as in 2018, has been exceptionally dry... the electricity prices are skyrocketing as well and is now about 3x times higher than the same time last year.
Yes, we call that a waterfall. It's not the largest one on the line. It's not just about the waterfall, it's also about the Huldra (folk lore) and the power station that was built there to power the Flåm Line and the surrounding cabins as well as the Vatnahalsen Hotel, which was burned to the ground due to a party (haha) the German soldiers had there during the occupation during WW2 (1940 - 1945). So if your only intent is to spew negativity I suggest you read up on the location before you do so. :)
