Great video and sublime advice as always from the one and only UA-cam great breakup coach Mr Brad Browning! A.k.a Breakup Brad! Every relationship is different! Every breakup is different! Brad has extensive knowledge regarding breakups!
brad i would just like to thank you mate, my ex broke up with me just over a year ago, and i have never felt pain like that. but just watching your videos and listening to your voice it helped so much for the first 4/5 months and although we did not get back together, and we are both in better places now I would still like to say a big THANKYOU 👍
Glad I was able to help and that you found your peace. Some relationships are better off broken, but some are worth saving. Glad you had those realizations and I'm happy for you! :-)
No contact works my friends!! I found this channel after a horrible breakup a year and a half ago. 3 year relationship ended with lying, huge blowup arguments, lots of bad stuff… I went no contact, and she texted me every month with no reply at all. I never ended up replying - found out she was cheating and lying a LOT - and to this day, she still texts me monthly, over a year later, even though she left first. Hoping it works again this time :) my most recent breakup was a lot kinder, more loving, and mutual. Bad emotional time kind of situation. But using Brad’s tips I learned a lot from last time, so my chances are even better now. Here’s hoping! Thanks Brad!
To all of you I know it hurts when you break up! But please do not disrespect your self by begging you will come off as a weak insecure person!! There are millions of men and millions of women out there looking for a person just like you! Love yourself and move on!! Best of luck to you all!!
I was on no contact ( unknowingly) She contacted me after 1 month but I don't care for her anymore as Im focusing on myself and the best part is now she is focusing on me 😂
Hi Brad! I have a questions. Can you help me to win my ex back? My ex dumped me 2-3 weeks ago and is in a nother relationship since then i‘ve done much beging and bleeding. She told me i have no chance but your Quiz told me there is still a chance (67 points). I wanted to sing up in the ex-factor programm but i have no way to pay. Please can you help me?
Don't do that especially if your ex got with someone else. By begging, it shows how you're not respecting your ex's need for space and time at the moment. Can't you see? In other words, you're making it hard for your ex to be attracted to you again. Your best bet is still to cut off contact completely for around a month or even more in order to clear your heads. You'd increase your chances of getting your ex back if you've got your sh*t together than if you were doing the opposite of the no contact rule which is begging/pleading or negotiating/trying to woo your ex again. Well, there are a few rare who take their exes back if you beg/plead but it hardly ever lasts since these people are taking their exes back out of pity. So my point is, don't let your ex take you back out of pity, all right? Here are 5 keys you need to remember when it comes to this: ua-cam.com/video/eZ6niCLUU6E/v-deo.html The best way to avoid that is to work on yourself and get your life together by having fun, hobbies, etc. and to stop chasing your ex. I've made numerous videos about the "no contact" rule and why it's important. Check those out. Also watch the stories here and try not to be a statistic: ua-cam.com/video/1U_IOm8ofFo/v-deo.html
Hey - have been watching your clips! Wonder if you could assist me as I have been out of the game for some years. Meet someone from the past - but have trouble reading the signals ... I am 61 and very rusty. Any advice ?
What signals is she giving you? Without knowing your situation, it's a bit tough where to give you a headstart at. Since your situation may be unique, I think you can benefit by working with me one-on-one so I get to learn more about the situation and therefore be more equipped to help you out, at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching
Great advice! Wish there was content about if your living with your ex and how to handle the same idea and situation. (Might already be out there...idk.)
There actually is a couple vids on that. It's a different set of rules if you live together. Do limited contact with your ex where you only discuss the essentials. Apply the tips here, too to help you out further: y2u.be/thVReUI9Vzs AND y2u.be/STL7ru4uSQk I know it's hard, but lots of folks have managed to follow the tips and succeeded. So if they can do it, then so can you! Good luck and be strong!
@@BradBrowning Thank you! I will definitely watch the videos, its been extremely difficult. I've been uncontrollably crying at times and its hard for me not to be emotional and heartbroken with us there together. Hopefully it will help with the way I'm going about everday life with my ex. Possibly hoping to get the situation turned back around and us in a good place again.
Hi Brad, I just broke up with my girlfriend 10 days ago, but I made an appointment this Friday to talk to her about what happened but now that I have seen your videos, I know it's a bad idea, how do I cancel that date without her gettin mad or something ? -Sasha
Errr... nobody told you to give af about your ex. You clicked on this video by mistake? If you're trying to move on, this video is for you: ua-cam.com/video/01wvLSaS9_I/v-deo.html And if you're still having a hard time, this should help you understand why in order to understand what you're going through: ua-cam.com/video/2CakOOSwIiY/v-deo.html
My ex broke up with me 3 days b4 our wedding saying his daughter threatened to not see nor talk to him again if he married me. No contact for 16 days, I dropped off his things at his work and the next morning he dropped mine off at my house at 6am! We had a short talk and he said he still loves me and that he's been sad but it's a choice he had to make. I'm so confused now. Part of me wants him back, we were together for 6.7 yrs and part of me just tells me that I deserve more.
That's harsh. Sorry to hear it. Why do you not have a good relationship with his daughter though? Sorry, this is a bit too complex for me to properly respond here… please consider signing up for coaching if you want to talk at length about your situation and I help you make a decision on your best move forward at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching
Hey brad...I am again here...recently I told u that my ex wants me dead and told his friend that I should die.I didn't message him after we broke up and gave him space but still he says these thing. Why?
Without knowing your full situation, it's hard to tell the reason why. But he does sound very disrespectful, so take time to see if you really want someone like him back into your life.
I’m nearly at the end of my no contact. Should I use getting my stuff back from him as a excuse to meet up? Should I do it straight away or text him about something else initially?
Hi.. I was gonna do your 1 on 1 coaching but I just can't afford it yet :( I have your book and have read it.. but I just feel like everything is a lost cause... My breakup was not bad in the sense we didn't argue the reason he told me was he wanted to be single (after 9 years) been together since we was 18 he is basically seeing if the grass is greener if there something better out there... It's sucks .. I think he got scared of commitment maybe.. do you hear this reason much? Is it true? we lived together (have sold now) but still flirted and he defiantly find me attractive still.. we have now moved out and I have told him I can't be friends rights now I need some time to except things..butni dunno if that was good or not... I saw your video where it says friends isn't good but I'm scared I'll loose him for good.. but I don't want just friends .I have previously begged and cried alot (he cried too when we did officially break up but he then slept with someone else 3 weeks later (so can't of been that heartbroken) I dunno if it's a rebound or what he been with her a few time but she lives ages away and I know from the time we were at house together that thing are not going great.. out of the 4/5 times he's seen her (2/3 days at a time) 3 of those times haven't gone good he's come back Mardy or pissed off telling me it's not all sunshine and rainbows.. I feel smug it's not great but doesnt make him come back so ... Anyway I've told him we can't be friends right now, and today marks day 1 of no contact .. I know I should of done it sooner but I was so scared... Will no contact really make him miss me? Even if he is dating around? What does this girl have that I don't? This is the hardest thing ever ever done because I've been with him for soo long.. he makes it look like he's over it and he's not upset at all... Is this normal? He not the most emotional or open with his feeling but I wish I'd seen a bit of emotion it's like he's over it just like that.. how can you tell that's not the case ...or if it is... 🙄
Right. Best to give each other that much needed space first and do it as soon as possible now that you've moved out. This vid should hopefully help you see things clearly about the importance of the "no contact" rule as well as the common challenges and how to overcome them: ua-cam.com/video/WVB0_l60SpM/v-deo.html Feel free to check out my other vids as well, especially this which should give you an idea on how to go about this: ua-cam.com/video/7JtmVbDkblw/v-deo.html For a complete, step-by-step procedure though, consider getting my Ex Factor Guide at www.breakupbrad.com Good luck!
Its been 3 months of no contact with my ex and i think this is my best decision I've made for us. It's less doing mistakes. I pair this with a radio silence. I focused more on myself and my self growth. As of now he still single after 1 yr of our break up.. I have no idea why? Our relationship is almost 1year
Sounds good! But this means you've been in contact with your ex for well over 9 months after the breakup though? But yes, some things are better off left in the past and can no longer be mended. Take care!
Hey Brad she texted me after 20 days of no contact she asked about my studies , where I'm, dinner and other normal stuff .... So can you predict the upcoming scene and what i have to do now ?
That's what I call the "check-in" text and your ex is somewhat expected to send one or more of these sooner or later and I've got just the vid for that. Discussed that in one of the vids, including how to handle that kind of message, here: ua-cam.com/video/VMAHVJ6tvSM/v-deo.html
I have been despondent. I found your name in a Google search a few minutes ago. This gave me hope. My instincts tell me this is the best way. I hope I can stay strong enough to do it.
Once you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: ua-cam.com/video/XonMtLFo000/v-deo.html but make sure you tick off the checklist here first: ua-cam.com/video/BAhMrmw3Sms/v-deo.html This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. This won’t happen overnight, of course, but it’s something you ought to continue to work on to the point where you’re gradually building attraction again. This is what my guide is for. Have you checked it out yet? It's too complicated to explain everything on here, but here's an overview of these phases and what to expect in each one: ua-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/v-deo.html Good luck!
Hi Brad, Thanks for the video. My ex broke up with me 6 months ago. Lately I told her not to bother me at all as she wanted to be friends with me. Despite of being clear with her she tried to reach me once late night by calling me. I ignored her for good 15-20 days. She called me day before yesterday as she wanted my therapist's number for her friend. I didn't understand why would she still call me for help? She has other people in her life right? Then why me?
You're welcome! It's either your ex is trying to find ways to open the lines of communication with you... or that you really have a good therapist. If you want nothing to do with your ex whatsoever, you can just provide the number and not communicate anymore but if you want to give it a shot, then take time to observe first to get a feel of what your ex's motives are for communicating. Good luck!
Thank u so much brad I watched one of ur videos on how to text ur ex trust me she replied me back we talked then later in the evening she called me I told her I was busy il call her back ..but know Ill do know contact
Hi brad, he broke up with me 3 days before and I begged and pleased him. He flips his decision when I call him. He also got a toxic friend who brainwash him. Do no contact rule workout for me.??
Other people's influence and outside opinion are all outside your control. It still has to be your ex's choice whether he allows himself to be influenced or not. Just continue to do you and focus on stuff within your control, yeah? Apply the tips here along with the other tips on my vid on what you can do in each phase, especially if you're not getting my guide: ua-cam.com/video/4Qe-4A-CpVY/v-deo.html
First, I'm watching these videos not because I want my ex back, but because I just want them to like me again and be interested in me, just to see that in his eyes. Second, I think the major problem here is that we weren't even dating: we achieved the texting and flirting phase then I decided to "break up" I made lots of mistakes, the last one is staring at him for 2 hours while he was working. Brad, do you think this will work anyway? Especially that he was just looking for a relationship?
Consider moving on from this, especially if it was just a fling to either you or your short-term ex. Sorry bit there may not be anything to rebuild here if that's the case because there wasn't any long term bonding or attraction that naturally develops in long term or serious relationships, especially if things got bad between you real quick because of the mistakes. On the brighter side, here's how the "no contact" rule will work for you, though: ua-cam.com/video/4gqo4RjqUpo/v-deo.html However, you may want to improve your dating skills and Amy North may has a ton of tips on what to do about that, so check out her channel, too. Take care!
I broke up 2 years ago, went no contact immediately for a year and my ex started a rebound relationship that he recently ended and reached out to me just a few days ago. We are exclusive now, but he does not want to label it as a 'relationship' because he does not want to be 'bound'. The idea to start slow is mutual, but I don't want to waste my time and go through heartbreak again. I haven't been silently pining for two years just to be an option again. Any chance here that he'll change his mind with time? What should be my approach? How do I get him to fully recommit?
Sorry, this is a bit too complex for me to properly respond here… please consider signing up for coaching if you want to talk at length about your situation: www.breakupbrad.com/coaching
Hi Lela! How long has it been since you two fell apart? Getting an ex back is a process. Here's a short infograph to help guide you in each process: ua-cam.com/video/7JtmVbDkblw/v-deo.html Look out for the signs that your ex has moved on, though: y2u.be/TnZzeEIPEik But evaluate things, too. Are you sure you're not trying to rush it? Setting a deadline is a good way to fail when it comes to exes, so I highly discourage it. What steps have you taken to get your ex back? It's time to re-assess those and see what's working versus what's not working. Sometimes, getting an ex back is like trying to fit a square into a circle, but oftentimes, chances are you're letting emotion dictate you and therefore end up making the wrong choices. Have you checked out my guide yet? It’s ultimately up to you to act (or not act, depending on which phase you’re in) on getting your ex back, but it helps if you read it to ensure that you’re on the right track. Check it out at www.breakupbrad.com

Hey brad, Broke up about 2 months ago. We talked for like the last week a bit, nothing happened and I asked if I could call her and she says she doesn’t wanna talk. Not sure what’s next?
Text her and don't call. Texting allows for time to respond without the awkwardness you get from calling each other. Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/BAhMrmw3Sms/v-deo.html
I noticed a bunch of people having some problems reaching out later on because they've either deleted their ex, blocked (especially everywhere) or unfriended them, which creates an unnecessary dilemma really, if you ask me. The only reason why I suggest NOT to unfollow/block or delete an ex (that you want to get back with) is because you can, in fact, leverage social media to your advantage. Here's how: ua-cam.com/video/D1GpR5MApQk/v-deo.html
Brad, My fiancé and myself had the dreaded conversation about 3 weeks ago. She told me she shouldn’t have said yes which really broke me. The no contact is hard when we live together. Things are very confusing as last night she went out with friends. Before she left she said it was weird and wanted to kiss me and tell me she loved me with tears in her eyes. She texts and snaps me the whole night. I’m to the point of selling my house to her and traveling for work to escape the situation. We have shared assets and her daughter considered me her dad. We’ve had 8 years together but she chose to have some sort of relationship with a guy from work.
Shouldn't have said yes to what? Getting marred to you? That's quite a red flag. Anyway it's a different set of rules if you live together.
Assuming you've done the first phase properly, which is the 30-day "no contact" rule, then you should be in a position to be ready to test the waters with your ex. Here's how you can tell you're doing it correctly: y2u.be/f7zuXk-sVsI You may want to tick off the checklist here as well: y2u.be/BAhMrmw3Sms Now once you're positive you've done all that's mentioned, you can proceed to contact your ex. Start with the tips here: ua-cam.com/video/KMMv9ljdrkk/v-deo.html AND ua-cam.com/video/uN_XAgHjaFM/v-deo.html but make sure to check out my other vids for more texting tips you can send your ex or get my guide for the complete step-by-step details on how to go about it. Best of luck!
I'm not sure what's really going on until I get a better view of your situation but based on what you've said, he could be implying you weren't supportive of him throughout the relationship.
It's an uphill battle for sure with kid/s involved and/or usually other responsibilities still tied to your ex, but it's best you do limited contact or what I call the dynamic "no contact" rule. Prepare for things to be tough but if you play your cards right and depending on the extent of damage done, it can actually still be salvaged. Try to prevent things from getting even more awkward than it has to be by applying the tips here as much as possible: ua-cam.com/video/GTjEAGJWTuA/v-deo.html AND ua-cam.com/video/dDZrnNh8LOg/v-deo.html
Self awareness is a positive trait so that's good. Give yourself time to work on your own issue first so I highly suggest you cut off contact for AT LEAST 30 days or more to do that. Work on your insecurities, yeah? That's something a partner can't help with but you can definitely take steps to work on that yourself. Take care!
My ex is my classmate.I am added to a college messenger group where all of my classmates are added as group members and my ex is also added there.Sometimes I text in that messenger group. We don't have any communication right now, there's no contact between us personally.Isn't no contact rules will be broken?
Brad we broke up last few days ago, I have pleaded and begg her family's to ask her to give another chance but she said no, doing the no contact and following everything. Do i have a chance of getting back with her??
I think at this point it's best that you redo the "no contact" rule and make sure you stick to it this time. But watch this first to help manage your expectations: ua-cam.com/video/OzVymYnQFTk/v-deo.html Here's how you can tell you're doing the "no contact" rule properly: ua-cam.com/video/f7zuXk-sVsI/v-deo.html It may help to make use of the clean slate template, which is a free version from a piece of my Ex Factor Guide. Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/6K3xufEwEFg/v-deo.html The main goal is to bring your ex into an emotional neutral state by employing the 30-day “no contact” rule -- let your ex miss you and don't rush it. But in order to fully understand how this concept works, watch the free in-depth video on my website to learn some psychology techniques and understand how giving each other space for around a month can benefit you than otherwise, at www.breakupbrad.com
He got mad that I kept the cat. He blocked me on all social media but I already deleted my apps for no contact any way. We also broke up once two years ago for a completely different and worse reason. Is there still a chance for me to get him back/get him to reach out again?
Like one commenter said, each situation is different and with on-and-off relationships, oftentimes I find this is a sign of underlying issues which have been left unaddressed for quite some time. It may be time to put things into perspective while it's still early because in 14 years spent as a relationship online coach alone, I find that a breakup is often NOT just one person's fault, so look at the roles that you've BOTH played that led to the breakup and if the issues have a chance to get resolved, and how to go about it. In most cases, the problems that led to the breakup can be resolved, but in some cases, it can't. So take time to evaluate, okay? However, I have to warn you not to ask the reasons from your ex. This is what I've discussed here along with other stuff that might help you, so this is a must-watch: ua-cam.com/video/zqAEi9PbEAA/v-deo.html But if you're interested in making this your last breakup, sign up for my coaching program at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching especially if there's an available spot. Good luck!
If you've reached out to your ex only fairly recently, and assuming you've correctly employed the 30-day "no contact" rule, then that's a normal reaction from your ex. Here, watch this to help you understand things better: y2u.be/CP8FQlvDuVU But I would worry about what sort of messages have you been sending your ex? It's a different story if you've been trying for so long with all the right moves and still no progress. It just depends how this plays out really. Focus on the second and third phases instead. It helps to learn the basics here: ua-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/v-deo.html and/or better yet, read my guide to guide you every step of the way, at www.breakupbrad.com Good luck!
I'm sure you have mutual friends who have social media, right? Assuming you've been together long enough to have mutual friends. Anyway this is a very common question, I decided to include it in my video here, around the 4-minute mark: ua-cam.com/video/XodgaAi8EbM/v-deo.html
When my ex and I attend the same line dancing sessions. What should I do? I should not change, to have 100% no contact. I don't speak to her, is that enough?
Hey brad, so i implied the no contact period for about a month now. And after 1 week she was texting me, and 2 weeks she was texting me again. Some days she texts (especially when she was alone), and other days she doesn’t. And last week she called me at 12am cause I wasn’t answering and we spoke positively for about 20min. Now its present day and its been a little over a month of no contact/ being distant at times. We have our conversations some days and other days we just don’t talk. Im just curious on what to do next? Should I reach out, even though im left on open from our last conversation? its been 30 days and she has reached out at times, but right now it’s neutral. (No conversations). Wondering if another no contact period is what is needed.
Yes, once you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: ua-cam.com/video/XonMtLFo000/v-deo.html but make sure you tick off the checklist here first: ua-cam.com/video/BAhMrmw3Sms/v-deo.html This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. This won’t happen overnight, of course, but it’s something you ought to continue to work on to the point where you’re gradually building attraction again. This is what my guide is for. Have you checked it out yet? It's too complicated to explain everything on here, but here's an overview of these phases and what to expect in each one: ua-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/v-deo.html Good luck!
i’m so confused lol. we’ve been broken up for two days and i haven’t spoken to him since then and now he’s texting my friends asking how i’m doing and even telling my best friend to take me out to dinner and he’ll pay for it and to not tell me
He could genuinely care for you but not want a relationship with you at this time for whatever reason and whatever happened between you two. And when it comes to your ex giving mixed signals, well that kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a fresh/recent breakup. That's why you ought to give it enough time where there's totally no contact between you and your ex for at least 30 days. A wide array of different emotions coming from an ex is somewhat expected when a breakup is still fresh and this includes the likelihood of your ex giving you mixed or weird signals. Watch this: y2u.be/siApAVtx8zE This is why I tell people to cut off contact for at least a month first and NOT deal with this ex. You both need to clear your minds first, all right? A breakup hurts both people in it regardless of who has done the breaking up. This is something I've discussed here, so watch it to learn a few tips to help you on how to go about it: ua-cam.com/video/1kJ1ybuFIHE/v-deo.html
We were together 6 yrs engaged I ended it. Got bk for 6 months I ended it then again for a 1yr he ended it we were still sleeping together and hanging out we have kids. And he was with someone else... she manipulated herself to MOve in after that and it's been he'll since. She's mad a lot of issues between us. Even without our emotions it's the hatred and anger he's suddenly developed...
It could be due to those past issues which may very well still be present. Regardless of who ended things first, an on-and-off relationship often signifies underlying issues which have been left unaddressed for quite some time. Read this first to know what to expect when you have this kind of dynamic in your relationship: bit.ly/1HjcagC But if you're interested in making this your last breakup, sign up for my coaching program at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching especially if there's an available spot!
I don't see this as a cause for concern really, unless you've done something really epic to mess things up or really hurt your ex, there's no reason to worry as much, really, because it could be due to the top 3 reasons I've stated on this vid: y2u.be/fjtv90o9bkI Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. So give it time. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication or have no mutual friends. More about that on here: ua-cam.com/video/5UT92IB5ugs/v-deo.html Anyway social media should be the least of your concerns. Focus on all three phases and your ex may naturally unblock you, in time, as you learn to rebuild that attraction and re-attract this ex back to your life.. Here are the basics of all three phases to getting an ex back: ua-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/v-deo.html and social-media wise, here (but then again, don't let it become your sole focus) : ua-cam.com/video/D1GpR5MApQk/v-deo.html Good luck!
Hi! I wrote a couple of months ago. we broke up in july and he started talking about the situation we were going through in that exact moment with a girl he had just met . After no contact, we started speaking and flirting but it Seems that he was seeing this other girl too. I thought she was the rebound but now, three months later, he has been dating her for a month and looks in love. He contacts me quite a lot but always puts limits and seems as if he had completly closed the door and recovered from the breakup. Im starting to think she is not just the rebound And that There are no chances even though we are just 19. What do you think?
Never deal with an ex if they're already dating someone else, whether it's casual or not. Remember, it's your ex's choice to do so. Use this time to focus on yourself instead. Wait for a better time before interacting with your ex, however, don't wait around doing nothing. Take a leap of faith on a new path as well because you never know where life can take you, which may be better without your ex. Use this time to heal and prioritize yourself. But if it's been more than a year or so, make sure to check the signs if your ex has moved on, here: y2u.be/ZyJRphwDca4 and this should help guide you on what to do for the time being: y2u.be/hlikXIfMYN8 However, make it a point to be really productive with your time being apart. Follow the tips here to help guide you further: y2u.be/gUBNd6pDINM AND ua-cam.com/video/WVFZVqFDFV4/v-deo.html now when the time comes where your ex is free or is constantly contacting you, check out my other videos here in UA-cam to help you with a lot of texting tips as well as when to give up trying. Good luck!
Should i do the no contact when she is with someone else. I didnt know about that until this september and i even begged and pleaded and even argued sometimes. But we eventually came to terms and understanding i want her back but i fear and im lost what should i do....she still txt me daily and even meet up sometimes and ask my help and even call so its hard for me not replying not picking the call and its hard please help coach
Try to significantly distance yourself from her for a while. Show her you have your own life outside of her and try not to overanalyze the relationship. Otherwise you risk being placed in the friendzone and that is tougher to get out of, the longer you allow the situation to continue the way it is now. About the dating thing, what if my ex does the same though when she sees that I'm "dating" again. Some people are different and it may make her move on from me and get with someone else if she thinks I've moved on
The harsh reality, however, is that most dumpers already have the "moving on" mentality or looking to a new direction by the time a breakup happens or even way before they drop the bomb on you. So in other words, staying devoted to your ex even after you've been dumped will not really help you out. Does that make sense? Good luck!
Hey Brad. I broke up with my ex 7 months ago. We hung out a few days a week. Was sleeping together too. But 4 months ago she started to date a gut 10 yesrs younger. She still texts me a few times a week. Tells me she loves me still and hes just a distraction so she dont think of me. Not sure I beleive that. Anyways I made a hugh mistake breaking up with her. We were together 5 years. Lived together for 4.5 years. I dont know what to do. Have any advice?
So you were the one to end things with her? If so, then have you applied the following tips here yet? Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/Y5jwPaxmJUM/v-deo.html
@@BradBrowning yes I have watched it. I think ive seen all your videos. I guess would no contact this late in the game work? I have tried everything. She almost came back but suddenly just went cold and distant.
Hey brad.. He contacted me 3 days ago . I thought things would change now , but what happend was totally opposite. I asked him questions regarding breakup he was scared and i felt like he is withdrawing. I think we are two different people iam expecting reasons , love, care .I cant go and ask him please show me some love . I dont know what is going inside his mind.. Literally clueless. His nature looks variant . But i can feel that he loves me but at the same time he is withdrawing. He used the sentence "Most of times i dont know how u take it " Please make a video on this topic.
Never talk about feelings or about the breakup especially this early on. Chances are both of your judgement is cloudy and you need some time apart, so naturally your conversations will go nowhere real fast and may only lead to more conflict. I’m trying to implement the no contact rule but all of my stuff is still at our mutual place where they are staying while I stay with my parents. So I worry the no contact rule just makes it seem like I’m putting off moving on from them. My best thought is a clean slate text saying I’ll finalize the move out after my next month which will be “very busy”… Advice?
Yes, I suggest you set a time and place for you to pick up your stuff which is convenient for you and your ex and apply the tips here: ua-cam.com/video/dDZrnNh8LOg/v-deo.html Best of luck!
I have seen all your videos but there is one point not clear to me. If I dont remove my ex from phone contacts, he sees my photo still so it doesnt help,as he should think is no contact forever. Every timeI broke up with him I was removing him from c9ntacts. Shall I dont answer to his message and remove him when he will start to write questions what is going on? I cannot remove him justlike that because it would seem giving importancy to him or getting angry. Remove or not?? Anyone knows? Thank you!
There's no need to remove or block an ex from social media as long as you have the self discipline to not check on his social media content or whereabouts and whatnot especially during the no contact phase. And unless your situation falls under one or more of the scenarios here: ua-cam.com/video/ek_4wpkV66c/v-deo.html AND ua-cam.com/video/W7iC-gHmZ2A/v-deo.html it's best you ignore contact from your ex. If your ex continues to reach out to you during the no contact stage, however, then this really depends on the frequency and nature of the contact from your ex and whether or not you've reached the phase where you're supposed to be talking again. The only exception is if your ex asks for you back and is sincere about it. If your ex continually messages you, then it’s important to put your ex’s messages into context, more so if this happened during the “no contact” phase. Is your ex trying to contact you about something really important, like an emergency, unpaid bills, or something equally urgent? These are reasons to respond, including messages where they get angry due to your lack of response. Discussed that in full detail here: ua-cam.com/video/GTjEAGJWTuA/v-deo.html So if your ex is really just texting some useless random stuff and/or asses their power over you, then you can just ignore and continue on with the 30-day "no contact" rule. Use your discretion. Watch and follow the tips here: ua-cam.com/video/bgOG9s1fac8/v-deo.html

You shouldn't be talking to your ex if he's dealing with someone new. Hanging out with an ex right after a breakup is a bad idea. It's still important to put the full 30-day straight "no contact" rule into priority because if you've been in touch after the breakup too soon, then you BOTH aren't taking the time needed to process the breakup and been acting like it hadn't happened. We had a great time with sex, kisses etc. Then i began to be needy and bought her a ring on wednesday and "asked" her for another chance. I then started no contact yesterday and i posted a picture where i way out drinking a beer in the evening. So my question is what should i do from now on. How long should i stay in no contact and how should i behave. She really knows she is the love of my life.
So we share a daughter we been broke up for 7 months iv had to buy her out the house but we keep going on days out with our daughter. She loves with her friend with our daughter I really don’t know what she wants she keeps giving me mixed signals help !!
What kind of mixed signals and have you two cut off contact yet? The mixed signals will continue if you continue to deal with each other without giving that much needed space or in your case, limited contact. So if you haven't done that yet, then you should prioritize that instead of interacting with your ex unnecessarily. On the other hand, IF you have already cut off contact, then you're on the right track. There's no need to redo the no contact just because it didn't exactly went well the first time or you're not getting the response you anticipated. Desperate or needy behaviour is never attractive, man. Sorry but that's something you got to learn. Really sorry, but your window of opportunity may have already passed. Discussed that here: ua-cam.com/video/e3l5KWEpIpw/v-deo.html and especially if you see the signs here: y2u.be/k1myDIp0gSc

Yeah that kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a fresh/recent breakup. Hi Brad My ex broke up with me a month ago , I begged and that only pushed him away so I stopped. I'm responsible for the break up though. So we've been talking since the break up but now limited my availability bcz I dont want to keep hurting. He would actually get jealous and curious when we're chilling and ask me questions but acting like he doesnt care. I have let my emotions get to me and did the same but also pretended to not care and used some good reverse psychology on him before reapplying the NC .. it's day 1 now and I've deleted WhatsApp which is where we communicated most and I'm afraid he might call me since we made plans for next week.. What do I do ,I know he misses me but I need him to miss me more to an extent he wants me back. PS the reason we "chilled" was bcz he had said he wanted us to talk but when I got to his place he said nothing and acted like my boyfriend instead
How were you responsible for the breakup though? Sorry, this is a bit too complex for me to properly respond here… please consider signing up for coaching if you want to talk at length about your situation: www.breakupbrad.com/coaching

I haven't broken up with my girlfriend, she wants to work through things and responds to messages instantly and without reservations. I'm lucky! I know I hurt her though! Attraction and trust must be strained. I'm not messaging beyond reassurances I understand I hurt her but I'm not pushing her away via semi - non contact. She knows I'm seeking therapy for my issues around letting her in. I want to rebuild attraction, I know its damaged. Is semi no contact the way? I feel she needs space, although she reached out to me a few times last week. She wanted a call. She wasn't breaking no contact as last we met she and I weren't talking of ending it, just recognising there's issues my end with fear of commitment. I do really like her. She's just come along after a lot of emotional damage.
Is semi no contact the way? ---> Not if you're working on yourself and especially if she has already ended things with you, man and that you both need time to process the breakup. Understand that you both have to process the breakup first and go through all that pain and slowly let go of the bad memories...It is a process, but this is what the "no contact" rule is for, to help both of you move forward from that pain. A reconciliation with an ex means there will be a new (thus the old relationship be considered as over) relationship between you two where the lessons of the past are taken into consideration in order to resolve it to create a better relationship in the future. Does that make sense? Give your ex time to let go of the bad memories, however, this won't happen overnight and for sure takes time, so don't rush. Follow the tips on my other vids, especially this one: ua-cam.com/video/FLeP1eRCkCk/v-deo.html Good luck!
@@BradBrowning thank you for the response, Brad. To be clear, she hasn't broken up with me. I'm just aware it's a messy situation and I've hurt her. She wants to be supportive, I just know I've done damage. I have a therapy session today. I'm doing it for me but I have to admit, It's easier without a breakup as well.
His tips really do work. My favorite is the one that says the way to win them back is attraction so dress sexy and be flirty. Logic does not win them back. Brad, thanks for the great videos. I liked & subscribed!
@@BradBrowning hey brad... He texted me yesterday i also replied but now the problem is i feel scared to be in contact with him. Iam scared that what if things would change and i feel another pain of breakup ... I dont know... What to do and how to react.
Stay out of his way. If he comes back around wanting to change and is trying to prove it, then set some boundaries but make sure you take time to observe first.
How long has it been since the breakup?
@@BradBrowning he said it was his own personal reasons, which the break up was November last year but he gave my stuff back January but he didn’t tell me as I was at work parent was at home as I was blocked
some people get back after 3-4years.....they saying that if it was true love they always come back......just move on, take the best care about you and be happy 😉
Friend? Don't do it, man. She's lost attraction for you and it's a terrible idea to be friends with her. You ought to cut off contact for at least 30 days first. Silence is key and here's why: ua-cam.com/video/zw0ChuXCEmw/v-deo.html If you continue being friends right away, the boundaries won't be clear and you're technically both free to date other people. Wouldn't it be pure torture if your ex dates a rebound in front of you because you're only "friends" now, don't you think? So it’s not a good idea, especially if you want this ex back. Watch these two videos so you’ll know why being friends won’t lead you anywhere you wanna be with your ex and how to get out of this trap, respectively at ua-cam.com/video/pv_cjzhVKAY/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/sS4V4IOcOgs/v-deo.html but read my Ex Factor Guide since that’s much more detailed and so you'll know how to go about it, what to do after each phase (there are three phases in total), including what to say, do or not do, along with bonus materials for texting. Good luck!
Ok so my situation with my ex after he sent a text message during an arguement saying that he doesn’t care about me and doesn’t love me anymore. After that text we started chatting back to normal again. This time he actually puts in the effort to text to me except he never texts first. Sometimes he does but it’s only whenever he wants something but then we end up changing the conversation to something else. He recently invited me to follow him to a library on Saturday, sadly I had to reject his offer due to my father not being home at the time so I couldn’t ask him to send me there. He still remembers little details about me, even minor things I’ve said before. We broke up during 2019 and it surprised me he actually remembers some of the things I told him since his known for almost forgetting anything. He likes to make a lot of jokes about me now, not in a bad way but just poking fun at me is all which I don’t mind really. We’ve gone back to playing games together again, playing games together was only one of the main things that brought us closer together so it coming back felt nostalgic to me. He took a break from games for now since we have an exam coming up sadly. He complements my photos now, even said once he actually liked a specific one. Which surprised me since he usually doesn’t complement me about my photos whenever I post them on my status. And that’s about it for now-

She contacted me after 1 month but I don't care for her anymore as Im focusing on myself and the best part is now she is focusing on me 😂
Well... talk about a blessing in disguise! lol :-)
-Sasha
Yes, never a good idea to meet up with an ex too soon. Just think of an excuse and try to make it as legit as possible.
Ex? why do i give af about my Ex? she's the past, i don't worry about the past.
Errr... nobody told you to give af about your ex.
"Should I use getting my stuff back from him as a excuse to meet up?"
I disagree with you on the issue of making them jealous
I respect that. It's not for everyone and it's definitely not applicable in some cases.
You can do it. Trust in yourself. And good luck!
I have completed my no contact period. But I don't know what to text now ? Can you help me ?
Hi Brad,
Thanks for the video.
That's good!
Second, I think the major problem here is that we weren't even dating: we achieved the texting and flirting phase then I decided to "break up"
I made lots of mistakes, the last one is staring at him for 2 hours while he was working.
Take care!
@@BradBrowning Ok. Thanks! 🤗
My name is lela and I need to get my boyfriend back

Hey brad,
Broke up about 2 months ago.
Hey brad should I block them on social media but keep there number unblocked?
I noticed a bunch of people having some problems reaching out later on because they've either deleted their ex, blocked (especially everywhere) or unfriended them, which creates an unnecessary dilemma really, if you ask me. The only reason why I suggest NOT to unfollow/block or delete an ex (that you want to get back with) is because you can, in fact, leverage social media to your advantage. Here's how: ua-cam.com/video/D1GpR5MApQk/v-deo.html
Brad,
My fiancé and myself had the dreaded conversation about 3 weeks ago.
Hi brad I really believe to your advice 1 week left and the no contact rule is over it's really hard for me but I do to save our relationship.
Ex said there's no chance and he's not in love with me anymore. Also asked me to name a single time I supported him. What does this mean?
I'm not sure what's really going on until I get a better view of your situation but based on what you've said, he could be implying you weren't supportive of him throughout the relationship.
How do you disappear when you have a kid together? It's impossible
My break up happened recently because of my insecurity what should I do ??
Self awareness is a positive trait so that's good. Give yourself time to work on your own issue first so I highly suggest you cut off contact for AT LEAST 30 days or more to do that. Work on your insecurities, yeah? That's something a partner can't help with but you can definitely take steps to work on that yourself. Take care!
My ex is my classmate.I am added to a college messenger group where all of my classmates are added as group members and my ex is also added there.Sometimes I text in that messenger group. We don't have any communication right now, there's no contact between us personally.Isn't no contact rules will be broken?
No, it won't since it's in a group setting unless you communicate with your ex in that group setting, obviously.
Good luck!
Hi brad so I did 50 days of nc and I finally decided to message my ex but got no reply at all.. what should I do now?
So what are you do if you don’t have any social media? I don’t play with any social media, so what are my other options?
I'm sure you have mutual friends who have social media, right? Assuming you've been together long enough to have mutual friends. Anyway this is a very common question, I decided to include it in my video here, around the 4-minute mark: ua-cam.com/video/XodgaAi8EbM/v-deo.html
When my ex and I attend the same line dancing sessions. What should I do? I should not change, to have 100% no contact. I don't speak to her, is that enough?
This should help: ua-cam.com/video/dDZrnNh8LOg/v-deo.html
What if you have friends in common and therefore hang out to similar events?
This vid should help guide you: ua-cam.com/video/2OfUA9o2Opw/v-deo.html be sure to check out my other tips as well. Good luck!
Hey brad...My ex bf got into a relationship and just after 10-15 days he broke up with that girl. Was it a rebound?
Sure looks like it!
i’m so confused lol. we’ve been broken up for two days and i haven’t spoken to him since then and now he’s texting my friends asking how i’m doing and even telling my best friend to take me out to dinner and he’ll pay for it and to not tell me
He could genuinely care for you but not want a relationship with you at this time for whatever reason and whatever happened between you two.
What happens if they have blocked you on social media?

@@BradBrowning yes I have watched it. I think ive seen all your videos. I guess would no contact this late in the game work? I have tried everything. She almost came back but suddenly just went cold and distant.
Hey brad.. He contacted me 3 days ago . I thought things would change now , but what happend was totally opposite. I asked him questions regarding breakup he was scared and i felt like he is withdrawing. I think we are two different people iam expecting reasons , love, care
.I cant go and ask him please show me some love .
Watch this free full length video presentation here to know what I mean because I explained most of it all here: www.breakupbrad.com

Hanging out with an ex right after a breakup is a bad idea. It's still important to put the full 30-day straight "no contact" rule into priority because if you've been in touch after the breakup too soon, then you BOTH aren't taking the time needed to process the breakup and been acting like it hadn't happened. Me and my ex girlfriend broke up almost 3 months ago. She still says she needs time? what should i do
Don't appear like you're trying to get back together with her. Here's a quick overview of what needs to happen: y2u.be/7JtmVbDkblw
@@BradBrowning Okay. I will try what you are saying in the video. I just need your opinion. Last saturday we were together for a couple of hour.
I git my emotions get the best of me, she contacted i lost her again. Now all i can do is move on haha... It hurts but all I have now is my God

Yeah that kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a fresh/recent breakup. @@BradBrowning I've done no contact so many times with her
Hi Brad
My ex broke up with me a month ago , I begged and that only pushed him away so I stopped.

It's an uphill battle for sure with kid/s involved and/or usually other responsibilities still tied to your ex, but it's best you do limited contact or what I call the dynamic "no contact" rule. I’m blocked everywhere I don’t know what to do
How long has it been since the breakup? Here are the basics of all three phases to getting an ex back: ua-cam.com/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/v-deo.html and social-media wise, here (but then again, don't let it become your sole focus) : ua-cam.com/video/D1GpR5MApQk/v-deo.html Good luck!

some people get back after 3-4years.....they saying that if it was true love they always come back......just move on, take the best care about you and be happy 😉
Then it's a win-win situation for you both. Sometimes a relationship is better of buried in the past while others are worth saving. :-)
My ex have boyfriend. She is my friend but i want her back.. 😐

Hi, my gf and I broke up one month ago. I did no contact but at the end of no contact, she unfollowed me on instagram but doesn’t block me on social media. She even doesn’t deleted from snapchat and on the contrary, she suddenly puts her location visible to me on snapchat. during these weeks she has not contacted me anymore. Why is she unfollowing me on instagram after 3.5 weeks?
She could still be processing the breakup and may not be ready to deal with you yet. Give it more time and extend the no contact rule for 2 more weeks before reaching out with these tips here: ua-cam.com/video/jka4S6syZPs/v-deo.html
