Thank you! We really are trying. I do hope the videos get better lol but yes, we plan to keep it natural and honest, even if it's not perfect! We love you!! PS: that beach was a dream!!
Thank you!! This was the first video we planned a little bit more and thought about a story, shared more details etc. They haven't all been like that ever since, but we are definitely learning and putting more thought into the story, plus showing more of our personalities too :) Thanks for being here! (this is our favorite video too!)
hahaha this put a smile on my face :) Two of our favorite countries in the whole wide world! Happy to hear you're heading to both 🙌🏻 I'm sure you'll see a big difference in the videos hahaha but hope the Turkey ones are useful. If you have any questions, send us a DM on IG. Happy planning! ✈️
Hello, I'm probably a bit late to follow your Turkey trip but anyways I started watching your videos and I really appreciate that you started your world trip by visiting our country first. Also you're really natural and trying to travel as efficiently as possible with a limited budget but enjoying the most at the same time is really good to watch for the ordinary people like us . Keep up the good work and have a nice time in 2022 :)
Your not doing as bad as you think and people appreciate it more when you mess up like normal people. Your showing how it really is with honesty. That's what everyone prefers 😊 Even drunk, it's hilarious 😂❤️
Thank you so much for saying that Alicia! We do try to keep in mind authenticity > perfection but gosh there are so many great travel videos out there and it's hard not to compare. But we are feeling better now (this video was recorded over a month ago). Thanks for the encouraging words :) PS: I cannot stop laughing at the videos from that night LOL
@@waysoftheworld_your welcome. Keeping it real is better, and funnier😂 People need to see the regular things. After all your making a vlog if your life travelling🌎 not a tourism video. It's better as it is, people like new and real 💯❤️ P. S I also watch "tread the globe" and their vlogs are the same, they leave it all in lol. Take a look at theirs. They are in Turkey now
@@aliciaspeight9452 hahaha thank you! yes, that's funny because that's exactly what we said to ourselves... If they want a perfect travel video, they'll watch it on nat geo, we are not videographers, so it's just easier and more fun to keep it real... And thanks for the recommendation! We will definitely check them out!! :)

Hello beautiful couple - I am a travel UA-camrs from Kolkata 🇮🇳 India. We are planning to visit Turkey 🇹🇷 and I am watching all your videos one after another. Thanks for making these episodes which are so helpful for us. Kas is a cute town. All the best for your work and channel ✔️🥰
Aww thank you! Good luck to you too! You are going to have the time of your life in Turkey! It became one of our all-time favorite countries. People are so nice, it's so beautiful and diverse and we had an amazing experience in all 3 months there. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask us!! Good luck!!
Hi Thanks for the informative vlog your doing a great job. We are due to visit Kas in June this year and the children want to visit Kaputas beach. We are with a couple of elderly parents as well. Is there a beach bar and toilet facilities there ? Thanks
Hi Stuart! So glad to hear you find the videos useful and so happy you're visiting Kaputas! That beach is beautiful! There's a flight of stairs to go down the beach and right before you make it to the beach, there's a restaurant and bathrooms as well :) Keep in mind that the parking situation there is kind of crazy, so you might have to drop everyone off in front of the entrance and then drive somewhere along the highway to park if you're driving yourself there. The earlier you get there, the better! Have so much fun!!
Hi! We'd say they are reasonable. I'm sure the prices are more expensive for tourists than for locals, but often times, they have the fares displayed where the taxi stands are, and if not, they have meters (just make sure to ask them to turn it on!). During our 3 months in Turkiye, we *think* only got scammed once and it was in Istanbul and it was $18. We took 35 taxis total more or less and the average was $5. Most of the cities we visited were super walkable so we didn't take many cabs. You are most likely to pay more at airports, but they have these buses called Havas that take you to the city for like $3. Hope this helps! Have fun in Turkiye!!
@@waysoftheworld_ hi. Had to book a taxi online before we get to Turkey from the airport there to take us to the apartment we staying at. As the guy who owns the apartment has a cousin who has a taxi company and they were going to charge us 95 English pound to pick us up and to then take us to the airport. This was expensive I thought. So I then saw a taxi firm online and they are based near to the place we staying and they are cheaper than the other quote we got. Goodness. Hope when we are there the taxis will be cheap if we need one. Or I would rather use the bus anyway if we can get to places on one
@@lionofjudah4114 wow! I don't know the distances, but 95 GBP sound like way too much!!!! Are you arriving in Istanbul? And here we are thinking we got scammed with $18! Our advice is to definitely ask in advance and ask if they have a meter. We only took that one taxi in Istanbul and maybe another one which was like 10 mins long and charged us $2 (USD). I promise these prices are right because we have a file with all of our expenses organized LOL Just sharing this so you kind of know what the prices actually are. Also, Istanbul has a great ferry and metro system and it's very affordable. Hope this helps and best of luck!! Stay away from the cousin's taxi company 😂
@@waysoftheworld_ yes thanks. I don't know why this other company were charging us that amount. It ridiculous. I even gave them chance to match the taxi online price that I found so I still use their business and they wouldn't bring it down. So the other company now has our business. It is one and half hour away from the airport the apartment where we will be. And then on departure they take us back to the airport. So it a return price but £95 pound for goodness sake was far too much. Why do that the other company are now thanking us for the business. So the other lost out
@@waysoftheworld_ and yes. Deffo keeping away from the guys cousins taxi company. They will get no custom being like that with people. Why would someone want to pay so much. I will be haggling in Turkey anyway. In shops etc. As don't want them charging us what they want just cos we tourists. I don't ever appreciate that. We went to Jamaica and some people were getting charged tourist rate for the taxis. And many folk said u charge me locals rate or nothing then
Not only friends and family watching ;) and the videos are really not bad at all! Maybe make them a bit shorter (?) Also, maybe talk about why you chose this or that destination, what your plans are, how the current destination fits within your longer-term plans, what you like/don't like about long-term travel, some "behind the scenes" (it's not holidays after all)... These are just a few suggestions (that you are free to ignore ;) Bottomline recommendation: try to make it a bit more personal
