- So many people were messaging us when the house was on the market but I didn't want to draw any attention to the listing, but if you were one of those people this video will answer your suspicions about our house being for sale.
It was quite the whirlwind few weeks going from applying for planning permission with the council and starting the plans for a big renovation of an amazing Georgian house, to losing it all :(
I am not one to let things like this get me down, so I have decided if I cant renovate a new house and based on how everything is going with the economy, meaning we will be here for a while longer, I might as well renovate this house again.
i told you it wouldn't be boring hahaha
Have you seen the “headboards” that are just a half circle of paint. Perhaps that could be a way of compromising on colors. Green room, purple half circle by Edie’s bed, & teal by Emilia. Or whatever colors they end up on. All the rich royal tones would work lovely together. Then move the led lights on it. Epic!

When I was watching your video yesterday I was thinking I wonder if they paid off all the renovations you did on that house. It’s beautiful. Can’t imagine you want to go through all that again. You need to settle yourself. Are you not satisfied? Enjoy the kids in that house. Before you know it they will be Leaving for college
You can ask the realtor to contact you when the house you loved goes back on the market.
I love decluttering. I use to tell my kids any toys left on the floor after bedtime goes in the garbage. I had a huge bag in my closet and they never asked where their toys went, so off they went to the thrift store.
Yeeesss I cannot wait for future renovation videos! Sucks you lost the house but you might find something better in the future!! We have literally just moved into first house after having 3 others houses fall through and each one we thought was our dream house but actually the one we ended up getting was better than all the ones before so you might find something even better to renovate 😊
Anna, you need a heated blanket! Every night while I’m getting ready for bed (shower/brushing teeth, etc.) I turn my heated blanket on. By the time I’m ready to get into bed, it’s so toasty warm! I highly recommend! 🤗
Its always better to let your plans be ruined than let your plans ruin you. Whoever gets that house, is going to get a fine piece of property after the work you put in.

Argh from the title of this video I totally get it. As me and my family are moving out but haven’t found the right house and we are still living in our house. It is frustrating now especially during these uncertain times in the UK. Your kids need to learn to pick up after themselves and that mum isn’t always going to help them tidy. I don’t have any kids but I have learned from my experience.
I cannot stop replaying Emilia tipping the paint tin.....haha haha I love that girl!

Anna in the play room reminded me of the way the dogs flop on there backs. 😂
Anna when my bed is cold I use a “Magic Bag” warm it up in the microwave and put it under the covers 10 mins before I go to bed and it warms up an area nicely.
Those instant hand warmers are good too can put them in socks, on shoulder, knes etc lasts a good 8 hours.
My kids would unload all of my organization in under 5 minutes! 🤣 It used to make me cry.
Sorry to learn of the house disappointment you experienced. Always hard to come to terms with when looking forward to something so much. Can't believe the paint got spilled on the rug. Those cheeky kiddos lol.
House buying is so stressful but everything like this happens for a reason keep positive we are currently living in a three year building renovation trust me grass is definitely not greener on the other side when it comes to moving and renovating also cost to renovate right now as I’m sure you know are insane so could be better in the long run
I love the green color. And it killed me when the paint spilled on the carpet, I've done exactly that before haha.
But whenever you’re ready for a new renovation project on a new house I’m SO there for it!! 🤩
Johnathon. Things happen for a reason, I went through something similar. And so grateful now that it didn’t go through. Count it as a blessing that now you don’t have to really tighten your budgets and just enjoy what you have. You still have bathrooms to remodel. The kids bedrooms could use a nice new painting and make their rooms nice. Another house will come available

I get you with budget. I bought my first home almost a year ago but found a dream home near the beach. However I'd need a mortgage for that home and the rates are crazy. Cant wait to see what you do with this house(which is still gorgeous!)
Another awesome vlog! See for the girls room have you thought about splitting the room in half and doing half emilias wall colours and the other half for edie? Im sure it will look cool whatever you guys do♥️
I'm sorry you lost the house you were counting on. However, if what you really want is a renovation project, Jonathan, have you ever considered Flipping? That's when you purchase a distressed property, fix it up/renovate and then sell for a profit (hopefully)? That way, you are still doing what you love while waiting for the right house at the right time. Just a thought. 😊

Why don’t you put Emelia and Edie into the big room in the top floor. It’s got two sections to it so they could each decorate their section as they like but still share the space. Plus it gives them more privacy as they grow. And then just put bunk beds in the littles rooms so they have eachother to go to if they don’t want to be alone at night
Are we going to hear which Kpop groups Emilia is in to? I'd love to know. Anime and great music, she has such good taste.

@@maddiexsaurus umm my kids do. And everybody I know that teaches their kids how to clean properly. I have my kids use the broom stick to get this out of beds and furniture

I did hear that you had the house on the market.sorry it did not work out .Its difficult when some members of a family want to move and others are not so keen .Also being in a house chain can be very difficult.It seems the room needs to be a teal colour to go with the duvet cushions.Normally you would have a matching duvet on Edies bed as well or something with teal colours in it,It would look really good if you had the teal colour duvet side on one bed and the reverse duvet coral side on the other bed,.I would go with the dark teal colour.Also stranger things is all dark .Its all the complete opposite of unicorns and pink which Edie liked,The stranger things posters would look good on a dark coloured wall.The green is nice but I dont think as good as teal .Purple I dont think would go with the duvet cover.The paint on the carpet ahhh.maybe explain to Edie that all the things in the room need to blend with each other or there is no point doing the room up.But whatever they choose I am sure it will look great.I am off nnow to see the new addams family called wednesday out on netflix today it looks really good
