THANK YOU. I'd been using versa check 2007, it had an uber-versatile check design feature[EVERY ELEMENT WAS MOVABLE & CUSTOMIZABLE], but upgrading to W11 broke it. In my search for a comparable replacement, I paid $30 for "Print Checks Pro" because it was highly rated, claimed to have a customizable check designer and the screenshots in the MS Store looked somewhat similar to VERSA's grid pattern. Turns out the claim and pic were misleading, bait and switch. Print Check Pro's Designer feature is limited to just 3 or 4 elements and even those have limited customization. I will seek a refund and give this solution a shot. BTW, Mark, if you've found a better solution since this video's original posting can you respond to my comment with that info?
I'm eleven years late but I made it!!!! 😂 never filled out drafts checks before can't seem to find the link you had mention does this still exist if not what else would you recommend? Thanks

Whats the difference between a Check Draft (not requiring a signature) and a check just like the one your showing, but requiring a signature. Seems to me the required signature is needed for payroll?
There is nothing to "risk". The only problem that comes from not using the magnetic toner is that some readers have trouble reading the numbers. In that case the bank can enter manually. It's perfectly legal to print your own checks and drafts. In fact their is software sold in office supply stores to do the same thing this template does.

Does the Routing and Account numbers need to be in MICR FONT if you only do mobile deposit?

for the MICR line of the check, does it have to be a specific font?
