These budget holiday dolls were so fun to find in grocery stores. I miss these. They were so simple yet the quality and outfits were so nice! As the years go on you can see them drop off in quality sadly. Late 90s and early 2000s are the best ones. ❤❤

One of my favorite Barbies I had growing up I always thought was a Valentine's themed Barbie 'cause her dress was pink with a heart brooch and cherubs printed on.....turned out it's called My First Barbie Jewelry Fun. Lol, not Valentine's Day at all.
I love the belt in 11:06! I might do a DIY version of it bc I really want to have it! I love the rest of the doll too, but maybe not the tinsel. I have a Barbie (unfortunately her head fell off and I actually never put it back on, also her neck plastic is weirdly broken) with a tinsel hair strand and I find it kinda annoying and it was a disaster when there was a knot. And I absolutely LOVE the 2009 one in 18:12! I love this style. 💕 I want to make a dress like this for my dolls. 🥰 I think she‘s my fav valentine barbie. I would love to own her. Sadly I can only find her online from the US and I would have to pay an enormous price for shipping. :(

Okay, but here me out. They really need to bring back that classic Teresa face mold. The one from the Splash N Colour doll, the one that looks like Phoebe Cates in Gremlins. I always loved the Teresa dolls but my mum didn't because my dad's ex wife (before my mum and was only pressured into it for a year or so because her daughter from another man called my dad "dad") name was Teresa. I love the heart jewelery they both have. Sweetheart Barbie was my dream when i was a child. I own her now and im obsessed with her necklace and soft dress.
The only thing I like about Valentine’s Day is that my husband always buys me a heart-shaped balloon; it’s the only thing I really want. And it usually lasts until June or July. Last year it lasted til October. It was half deflated, but I didn’t mind, lol. 😄💖🎈
These are cute, I'll definitely be looking for some of them. It's sad to see how much the quality has dropped. I got Barbie Extra 20 today, and her hair is absolutely terrible. It was awful when I took her out the box, and then it just became a fizzy mess when I brushed it. They also have no idea how to make the outfits flattering for a larger body. The cardigan is the best thing about her, sadly.
in 2016-2017 (i think i was like 9-10?) my grandma got me a bag of valentines day stuff cause no one else got me any thing... and it had the XO valentine Barbie from 2001... i wish i still had it but i got rid of all my dolls when i was 12 : ( (61 MH dolls, 3 EA dolls, and probably 20+ Barbie dolls.... not to mention all of the playsets and cars i had (and i had one of the dream houses, i think from like 2010-2012 but it had a random burn hole through the second floor... but i still loved it)
I really like the designs of the valentine barbies from 1999-2003! Very Valentines Barbie 2000 and Valentine Romance Barbie are my favorites for really capturing a cute romantic feel to me. Lowkey, I might look into buying very valentine barbie 2000 on eBay cause the jacket with the long dress is so *chefs kiss*❤

I think Mattel is cutting way too many corners with dolls. They used to have a barbie doll for every special day or celebration, like Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Easter and yearly graduation dolls
Sadly Mattel and other companies are always cutting corners in their design. They want to make cheap dolls and outfits but sell for high prices for a better quality for their own pockets. I've never played with the newer style Barbies but yes I can at the store or in Joey's videos the quality has gone down a lot!

The 03 valentine romance is my favorite as well , she’s absolutely gorgeous! I also have the 99’ with love …Barbie , I definitely recommend she’s really nice quality and she has a sheer nylons on! I also have the valentine sweetheart one with that “romance novel” dress and I recommend her as well! My mom would get me one each Valentine’s Day …i personally got the 3 as an adult and love them 💘

Valentine fun isn't my fave either, but I think it is worth noting that it's the first valentine's Barbie who is fully casual dress. A little more detail, some fun legwear (boots, socks, tights) and maybe a jacket would make this work for me.

The third Hallmark doll (the right) is super pretty in real life! I saw her at a local antique store and nearly bought her! She was 20 bucks so I’m sort of regretting not getting her despite not really collecting dolls. She’s based off of a rococo painting, which is shown on the box. Also, have you seen the new Tinker Bell limited edition doll at the Disney Store? I thought she looked nice and would like to hear your opinion on her. There’s also a Disney collection with black dolls inspired by Disney princesses by Creative Soul. I have a feeling you might find them interesting. They look like nice quality and are not overly embellished and are priced around 50 US dollars. I hope to see the dolls I mentioned in a future video. I have a good feeling you’ll have lots to say. I enjoy your videos so much and can’t wait for more!
What I don't like is the boxes that don't show the whole doll. Why would I buy what I can't see? Dolls sell so much better when they are displayed fully, it makes you want to hold them out of box to see the details better.

A catholic priest named Valentine felt sorry for the young soldiers who were in love and wanted to get married. So her preformed weddings in secret until some asshole ratted him out. I would like to know if you play to change the clothes of your dolls or leave them as they come? I like to collect dolls, but if I don't like something I just take it out or change it hahaha

Just an FYI. Valentine's Day is actually a Saints feast day. The feast of St . Valentine. To summarize . A French king forbade his soldiers to get married. A catholic priest named Valentine felt sorry for the young soldiers who were in love and wanted to get married. So her preformed weddings in secret until some asshole ratted him out. Valentine was arrested and executed . Later on he was canonized as a Saint by the Catholic Church and celebrated as mytre.
