Another outstanding week on the channel! I like how you are incrementally delving into new, interesting bookish topics along with the books. Look forward to the upcoming videos. Take care!
Thank you sir. I really dig the videos which create discussion, as those are the videos in which I get to see the feedback and insight from all of you. Take care and enjoy your upcoming week as well!
Years ago I would go to the Library and check out books of short stories. I have always enjoyed short stories because you can read a wide variety of subjects in a small amount of time. Another Solid Weekly Wrap! Thank you -James & Bella
Thanks for the update,i usually refrain from rereading books but since watching your videos i got the idea to hunt for the early prey novels which i was able to read almost 20 yrs ago.
Hello, Kevin! I'm with ya on Salem's Lot! I'll subscribe to Max for a cycle just to see it! That was the first King book I read. My high school English teacher put it on the syllabus. He looked like a grumpy, older man, but he was one of my favorite teachers ever! Happy Sunday! ✌️😃
Awesome! I read Jurassic Park as part of my senior year biology class. Book has stayed one of my favorites. Can’t wait to see this new Salem’s Lot adaptation…I have high hopes for it! Happy Sunday to you too sir!
Conan is my go-to in between novels when I'm not sure what to pick up and start next. I love the classic Howard stories and it doesn't matter that I know them all.
Thank you, yes. I have been pleased by Louis Lamour after reading 6 of his books. Very to the point story telling. Fun quick reads. Really been enjoying your channel. Congrats on the 10k views on one of your 1 min reviews. Cool concept too!
@@kevintowle9665 Thanks, one minute reviews aren't exclusive to my channel, although others I've seen do them tend to do them for self help books that don't interest me. I tend to read Louis L'Amour in June when there is the Booktube event June on the Range dedicated to reading westerns, I find him to be a reliable source for a good western read. Although the last book of his I read, Showdown Trail seemed a little over-violent.
fab update slikker i may reread the pines again, youre whetting the appetite i love your shorts series i forgot to comment there oh, gkbc is about to jump back on our you like it darker series rad hat btw, yes, even with a female dr cody, it looks sooooo wicked
Yes excited about Wayward Pines reread. Thanks for love on the Sat Shorts! Looking forward to the group discussion you all have on IYLID series. And heck yeah, the Lot looks cool!
Greetings, Mr. Kevin!!! I'm glad to hear your wrap-up. I'm still reading THE FOOL'S RUN, and I have to say that I have that I still am a bit underwhelmed from the story. Although I found the beginning and porn ring scene to be intriguing, I have to say that the beginning of the book has set me up for nothing. Throughout THE FOOL'S RUN, Kidd makes a lot of vague references to the CIA & NSA that unfortunately go nowhere for me. Book #1 in this Kidd series is the equivalency to the big issue that I had with CHOSEN PREY where Quatar's game with his obsession with women was unclear to me. If I were Sandford writing THE FOOL'S RUN, I would have played my cards to where the book would have been a hybrid between the movie SWORDFISH, the Nicholas Cage film 8MM, along with the Dennis Quaid film HORSEMEN. My question to you, Mr. Kevin, is If I disliked THE FOOL'S RUN, then will the other three remaining books in the Kidd series be to my liking? Hope all is well and that you have a great day and weekend!!!!
Hey Professor X. I think even though you may not be enamored with the first entry into the Kidd series, I think books 2-4 are improvements and give you the time to enjoy the characters more, especially Bobby. Have a good week!

I am glad you are hunting and considering rereading them!
I’m glad all three books were winners for you. Happy Reading! Congratulations on passing 400 subs!🎉

I can totally see that after only reading The Phoenix On The Sword 🗡️ I am excited to read more Conan soon. May just read a few for fun very soon.
Sounds like you should never doubt Meredith's recommendations.
😂
Fascinating selection. Louis L'Amour is a great storyteller.

Interesting that others do them. I also am not a huge fan of self help. June on the Range. That sounds like a lot of fun. Appreciate the insight!
I tagged you to do the Booktube About Me Tag created by Harriet Rosie. It is airing on Friday.
Sounds like fun, thanks Jess, look forward to it!
Great video as always Kevin! I’m interested to see how the new salems lot movie is as well.
Thanks Austyn
