    Thanks for the insightful video. I am still a bit confused with how to interpret the price sensitivity graph, can you please explain further?

    Thanks for your great content; it's very comprehensive and helpful! Is the difficulty of this case comparable with the actual online case interview? Thank you, prepmatter!

      I'm glad you found the content helpful! This case is representative of a medium level of difficulty. We've also encountered more quantitative cases where some trainees struggled with time management. That's why, in our course, we offer 8 online case studies so that you're thoroughly prepared!

    Quick question on Q5 - is it correct that the Y-axis should be labeled as price sensitivity (as it is on the screen)? Your explanation of the answer seems to imply so, at first glance I assumed the Y-axis should be quantity (or # of customers) and that the red curve represents price sensitivity. Thanks!

      Thank you for your question! In Q5, the X-axis is labeled as price sensitivity (not the Y-axis). The higher the number on the X-axis, the greater the customers' price sensitivity. The Y-axis shows the price difference between the client and the competitor. Thus, the graph only displays hotels where the client's price is higher. The red curve represents what we call the price sensitivity curve. It essentially illustrates the correlation between the customers' price sensitivity and the price difference of the hotels.
      However, I completely agree that, at first glance, it can be very easy to misinterpret and read the chart incorrectly. As a candidate, when I examine a graph, I always first look at what each axis represents. I hope this helps, but please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions!

    Thanks for posting! How would you compare the difficulty level of the real assessment with the level of those in your course?

    Can I ask what happened if we choose 4/5 correct options in multiple selection questions? Did it mark as incorrect answer ?

    Thanks a lot! Very helpful! 1 question: Does the software allow a user to scroll ?

    • @Prepmatter

      Yes, you can scroll up to see your or the interviewer's previous messages, but you can't undo an action

    In Q4, why did you assume that Business Segment is at risk? We don't know if they are price sensitive. Whereas, BUDGET segment is intuitive and make sense to assume that they would be highly price sensitive.

    • @Prepmatter
      @Prepmatter  5 місяців тому

      Surely, customers of budget hotels are more at risk compared to those at business hotels. However, both the 500 business and 300 budget hotels are still at risk, as their prices are higher compared to those of competitors.

    Just wondering, if we on average got about 60%-80% of the answers in the test / per question, will it be enough to pass to the next round?

    • @Prepmatter
      @Prepmatter  9 місяців тому

      While there's no official recommendation, based on what we see amongst the test takers, you need to aim for at least 70% of correct answers.

    for the Q6, when calculating, I did assume that there are 2 customers per room so the result would be 855/2 lol ...
