I lived pretty close to Vinnie's house in Arlington, Tx. Ran into both him and Dime a couple of times. Always had time to say hello. And they supported every rock concert that came into town. You just knew they would be there. And not hiding backstage. Walking through the crowd, talking with every single fan that wanted to say hi. There is a big hole in the rock community with them gone. ❤
I ran into Dime and Vinnie at the Galaxy Club in 96. They bought me and my friends a round of black tooth grins and took a shot with us. They were f-n awesome people. RIP
It was the perfect blend of their coming VDOP and beyond (pun intended) sound , and classic thrash and power metal (pun also intended). Phil could still hit the high notes like on cemetery, and you had your straight groovers like cowboys and psycho holiday but there was also songs like this, heresy and domination that were just balls to the wall megadeth plus Metallica plus Queensryche all mixed into one. Its fucking beautiful.
Did you know that the original singer of Drowning Pool was from Princeton Tx. DAVE Williams. He also was good friends with the band Pantera and was in many Home Videos with them. RIP Dave, Dime and Vinnie
Just listened to Medicine. Ok. I see you, Asia. Now I know. Funny how that changes my perception of how you look at music (being talented, not just a fan). Oh. Shout out to BJ...his true love for Dimebag. The same love we all feel.
What most people don't realize is that there is VERY little differnce between good thrash metal like this and hardcore gangsta rap. You even want a system in your car for metal, not just rap.
These guys change metal back in the day! Great band and great reaction! I like this album but there are other albums that have better sound and mixed better. If your taken request then I would like to hear “I’m broken” or “hollow.” Both are great songs. Great reaction keep reacting to these guys I promise they are worth it.
You asked about how the drummer can keep up? The answer is because he and Dime came from the same bloodline. Actually Dime wanted to be a drummer too, but his brother Vinnie was just way better than he was, so he picked up the guitar and the rest became history. Pantera was a machine, four masters of their instruments working together to create this music. There will never be another Pantera.
Top of the pops 😝🤘one of their best songs imo - it contains all elements of music composition that is needed to take you on a journey! A masterpiece of metal music!
All These new bands that's making sick drop downs. It made me think....Pantera was the first band where I really noticed Dropdowns, art of shredding have one...But the Drop In Domination...still get the chills
Dimebag makes all those other thrash players sound like kids. i mean his inspiration, inventiveness, and technique is wicked and vinnie on the drums is a muthafu**in badd ass
Arlingtons own Pantera! Man I miss going to see them at Starplex is what I will always know it as but I’m sure it has a different name and then going to the Clubhouse the strip club they owned for after party miss those guys RIP Dine and Vinnie!!
I just bought tickets 🎟 to see them in GEORGIA, this September, Phil is from Metairie, LA. HE'S OLDER THAN ME, went to same HIGH SCHOOL, they are closing it this year, GRACE KING, is going to be HAYNES MIDDLE SCHOOL/ JR HIGH SCHOOL next year!!!
one of the strangest solos i ever heard. in my opinion i heard it so, so beautiful. i like you enjoyed it, i did too with you even i barely understand english but music is a universal language
Thanks for spreading and continuing the pantera vibe. I like your choice of track too. Have you listened to primal concrete sledge from one the best albums in history?
drowning pool is another good band from texas.. not as good as pantera but they are good..no one will ever be like the abbott brothers.dime on guitar and vinnie on drums are just pure metal .rip brothers
Asia,BJ you guys are awesome, and are understanding , good at understanding these bands that people just don't understand and they give up on music and lyrics,y'all are understanding and flowing through different types of music and I say good job y'all have heart and soul.from Corpus Christi Texas.
Seeing Asia grooving at the start to the Art Of Shredding is priceless 😅 lol and then BJ noddin when the shredding begins well just makes this one instant classic reaction to compliment a forever classic Pantera track! Love it 💯!
They made more than a stamp on metal. They redefined it. So many metal bands that came after were inspired by their sound.
Agreed... Pantera defined and spearheaded the metal sub-genre known as "groove metal". One of my favorite Pantera songs.
Amen brother!
Soilent Green is a good band that was heavily inspired by Pantera. Very worth checking out.

One of Dimebags best songs is Hollow. My favorite song. Seen them live several times in the 90's

The drummer and the guitar player were brothers, their groove was home made
My all time favorite Pantera song
Pantego, right there in the Arlington area.
Long live Dime! Long live Vinnie Paul!!
I Tell people the reason why I’m 6”2 265 lbs and jacked out of my god damn mind is because I listen to PANTERA when I hit the gym💯🤣🤣
Crazy time , the drummer has got mad skills for fast metal
PANTERA is the heaviest metal there is. Facts
*Cough* Megadeth.
Pantera is heavier than Megadeth, I adore both, Megadeth is more sophisticated
Wow amazing choice of song. Please react to the “The sleep” from the same album.
All These new bands that's making sick drop downs. It made me think....Pantera was the first band where I really noticed Dropdowns, art of shredding have one...But the Drop In Domination...still get the chills

Have you been recommended Slaughter to Prevail Viking? If not, no one will be disappointed to hear that one.
Pantera ist legendär, ihr Weicheier und Hip Hop Lover!
funny how they started as a glam metal band before they recruited Anselmo
My brother and his best friend used to listen to this band all the time. Their vocals remind me of Metallica.

You might want to loko up why Pantera concerts have been cancelled recently
Saw Cowboys from Hell on MTV. Fell in love with “Floods” now I’m bitter with how Tom ruined the best thing ever. F Tom all day.
Too bad everyone that does these reaction vids can't just listen to the whole song before they add in their opinions or philosophical rants.
Pantera is from Pantego RIP Dime
Thanks for spreading and continuing the pantera vibe. I like your choice of track too. Have you listened to primal concrete sledge from one the best albums in history?
