Hi, very informative video. I started working in this current job around october last year, in the proposed date section, it isnt accepting the date I started working from and instead asks me to provide a date greater than today. What do I fill in? Also my contract is more than 24 months so it doesn't accept a number greater than that, so shall I just leave it as 24 months
Hi Parvez Can you help me out what to write in section details of foreign National? Question: 29. Please describe on what permission they have to be employed and 31. Please describe on what permission they had to be employed My employer is confused as they are submitting application on my behalf. Kind Regards
Parvez Mulani Thank you for the reply. Could you please share with me,a way to contact you to discuss about my case, so that you get better understanding of my queries.
Hello parvez.... I have been granted critical skills employment permit recently by DBEI. But now I m confused regarding visa filing process. What sort of form is required to fill up for getting visa. Plus my husband would also be accompanying as dependent. Please help regarding this. Thank you.
Hey Azad, In that case you'd have to decide based on your current visa stamp (For different visa types in Ireland : ua-cam.com/video/X4fOC2eDsGA/v-deo.html): -If you are on visa that allows you to work full-time legally (e.g. Graduate Visa), then you can start right away and apply for Work Permit. You need to specify the values accordingly and let DBEI know you already started work on Graduate Visa for instance. Makes sense ?
Parvez Mulani Just to clarify, you would be able to apply for an employment permit - on your own - the following day after you start working on your Stamp 1G if you want to - is that correct?
Hi Parvez, what is the salary we're getting is less than 32k and the the work is under critical skills, can we apply after the salary increased to 32k and it took some time
Hi Parvez, thanks for a great video. A quick question. I got a job last month while I am a student, and the contract has critical work permit conditions. Does the commence date(last month) create a problem to apply for the critical work permit?
First of all, thank you for all your effort! GREAT job there! I have a question. I have a few friends back in my country (Bosnia) that would like to come to Ireland to work or study first until they get a chance to only work. Do you know, which studies are eligible to finish and at what level do they have to be in the end to get that second visa "graduate visa" like you did after they finish that course? Which courses can one finish to get graduate visa Stamp1g after Stamp 2? Must these courses be one in the list "Critical Skill Work Permit"? Thanks
Hey man, that would be a huge list of courses but for starters, try and look for courses that are level 9 and above as they definitely offer stamp1g post studies
Parvez Mulani you are putting some real effort on valuable information. I can imagine how much time you must invest to make a single video. You keep doing stuff.
Hey, yeah that’s fine, 37.5 is considered full time hours taking any breaks into account . If you have reached this stage , good luck for next steps :)
Parvez! Great video. But I've got one doubt. Most of the times employers cancel your application if you do not have work permit. So is it really a vicious circle? Because it seems you cant get a work permit, if you dont have an offer in hand. Are there any solid ways you'd like to suggest to overcome this barrier?
Hey Nikhil, usually the company provides this information so check with them. If they have a thirdparty managing all. visa applications , it's very likely a trusted partner
Hi Parvez, Well done with the video, gives a lot of information. I however had two questions. I am already working for an organization and am applying for a Critical skill visa but the application doesnt take past date for Proposed start date. Please help. Also what is the Dept. No. on the IRP card?
Hey Murthy, I have added a response to your query in my Q&A video, hope it helps and good luck with your next. steps : ua-cam.com/video/DobHjiicQSA/v-deo.html
Great information parvez. One question, can the stamp 1g be used for working legally or is it just an extension of the stay permit till you find a company that sponsor the work visa ?
Is it better to put resignation letter in my current company after receiving my offer letter or should i wait for till my visa?
What if the employer put the no. Of working hours per week is 37hours (standard is 39hours/week), will the working permit be approved?

What if the company asks one to join within a month, since the work permit requires 12 weeks prior notice, what would one do then?

Yes that is possible to do and totally allowed :)

Great info. I also made video regarding requirements regarding critical working permit
Good information... Thanks 😊
Thanks Ganesh :) Please do share with others !
Hi Parvez, working hours should be definitely 40 ? My employer had put 37.5.
Hey, yeah that’s fine, 37.5 is considered full time hours taking any breaks into account .
If you have reached this stage , good luck for next steps :)
Hi Parvez, one more question. Suppose I get a job before I complete my masters, can I still apply for the critical skills work permit?
Yes you can apply for the permit

Hey Sengupta, yeah it can get a little challenging but you'd need an offer. to be able to apply for CSEP. So currently that's the only way
Hi Parvez, I wanted to know from where do you get the details if the company is trusted or standard? Please let me know.
Hey Nikhil, usually the company provides this information so check with them. If they have a thirdparty managing all. visa applications , it's very likely a trusted partner
Nice one
