Hello I am a British citizen who is currently doing my dentistry course abroad, will I struggle to find a job after I do the necessary things to get my degree because of my foreign degree?
Hi Sir, I firstly want to thank you for this informative video. I am planning to work in the UK as a dentist and I am complicated about a few situations. If you make me clear about those I’d be glad. 1)As I see from official uk immigration website there isn’t “dental practitioner” added on the shortage occupation list. So we can’t apply for tier 2 even though we got our GDC registration. Is there another way to get work permit other than getting tier visa? 2)I just realized that there is a new visa type announced named as “Health and Care visa”. It’s open for dentists to apply. However the visa requires a job offer from NHS or a private clinic provides NHS services. So to obtain this visa do I really have to be on performers list or can I use an offer from private clinic to apply without performer number? 3)If I have 2 years of clinical experience in non-eu country can I apply to performers list without taking VT or PLVE?
For visa enquiries you will need to seek advice from a professional solicitor. As far as I know you need a tier2 visa to work in uk. For performer list you will have to do dft or plve definately.

Yes your spouse can come to UK on a dependent visa and pass the ORE exam. I will recommend coming to UK for a short time only for the exam. ORE is only a 3 day exam and not a course but she will need to attend coaching classes to prepare for the ORE exam.

Sir I am bds graduate from India and I am confused between two countries Canada and UK. UK is easy in terms of licensing exam in comparison to Canada but, on the other hand Canada will provide Permanent residence quickly so what to select pls guide me ?
It all depends upon your financial situation. See my financial planning video about UK exams. You can get permanant residence in UK after 5 years on an eligible visa like Tier2.
Membership exams are good while done together with ore lds as they give good practice for the part2. Job wise there is no difference only uk experience matters.

The admission process is very simple and all online. Whichever university you choose just go on their website and apply there.
