Love the brown hat Batista! There is a frozen zombie movie , dead snow 2009. I get why the saw wasn't used, until we take out that wall between the issue and progress the saw is not a weapon all evil requires is for good people to do nothing.
I understand Bautista wanted dramatic range in his roles, but in this case Army of the dead is better off if he played a straight action warrior without the daughter storyline, it was just a burden.

This movie is amazing!! The story was a little underwhelming but the action and the new take on the zombie genre is brilliant! Ngl I hated the daughter in this movie she really annoyed me and got a lot of people killed just to save that women. I mean how was she going to save that women and get out of Vegas in time before getting nuked 🤷🏽♂️ and we don't even know if that women survived 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ 😂
Tanaka's handler sealed their fate long before she did. Him killing the queen ruined the entire mission because they opened the vault and succeeded. Yes her running off was stupid but she was not the initial trigger to everybody dying.
Yeah I would probably rank him second, behind the Rock, for "wrestlers turned actors". John Cena isn't BAD either, but Dave just has that something "more" in him I like.

John Cena has cringy acting, in which you can tell he is acting. Bautista is one of those actors that did not succeed only because of his physique, he succeeded because his acting is really good. The rock only became famous because of his physique.
Hearing Bautista talk about the dept of this character I would have had Kate die, instead of Ward. Kate forgives him but, the character's closure stays faithful to the horror aspect of the film, and it would keep him haunted losing his family until he discovers Vanderohe is alive and is the new Alpha. Because now that Vanderohe is the new Alpha, what impact, what connection does he have to the past film if they move forward with Army of the Dead: Los Muertos (what I imagine it be called since he is touching down in Mexico).
As flawed as it may seem at first, there are many layers to this story that have been hinted at, but not displayed. This could be the catalyst for a zombie cinematic universe ...we'll see.

Matthias Is the main reason I watched this film. I love German Actors. Plus is he is the Coolest Male actor of 2021. He so funny love his personality and he very attractive.

But this zombie nonsense is so badly written, so slow and ponderous, so not-developed at all, with characters that are so flat and uninteresting, that it wouldn't have mattered if you had real dramatic acting talent. You still would have come off as a wasted asset.
I love Mr. Batista. A great actor and performer. If I could ask him one question it would be 'what did Lea Seydoux smell like? ' The whole cast was fucking awesome in Army of the Dead. Loved Dieter and Van especially. Also, I think Scott Wards daughter was scarier than the damn zombies with her carelessness.
Great Cast! Cool Direction. Stakes weren’t high enough though. A lot like Captain America Civil War. We get it, but you never really feel like they have a lot to lose. Should have been faster and scarier, but I get they wanted to reach a bigger audience.

I like Dave Batista's acting a lot. He is funny and entertaining. His chest tattoo wierds me out a bit. I was a professional tattooist for over 35 years before Baron Dupetrenes ruined the use of my hands. In all those years I refused to do certain types of ink. Anything religious, anything associated with the Knights Templar, illuminati or Freemasonry, all of which are connected, and especially anything twisted and taken from the Moari or Polynesian people which they now call tribal. I was raised Catholic until I was 14 and left home. I did an apprenticeship for tattooing under a famous San Francisco artist(never will name drop) and I also did a apprenticeship with a Mason and learned brick, block marble concrete and tile work. I was also in the first stages of becoming a freemason, but decided against continuing because it was just to wierd and felt to much like the Catholic church which I despise and like any organized religion want no part of. My family all call themselves French Canadian and most are still staunch Catholics. I started doing my family ancestry and found out we are actually Celtic Vikings who settled in Normandy. In the 1600's a lot of them sailed to Canada and many married into the Mi'kmaq Huron Maliseet Passamaquady and other north eastern tribes. They fought the English on the side of the French and many were deported to the south when they lost. My family did everything they could to hide this mixed ancestry but thanks to DNA testing and years of work through the genealogy sites I have found more truth than any of my living relatives know. They have all disowned me because I proudly and openly live the truth about who and what I am. Those ancient symbols especially the one on his chest go back to the Egyptians and the Sumarians. The real truth of thier meaning is only speculation. Those who study such things have theories and what they called educated guesses but they really are clueless. I would never get or put something like that on anyones body. Just as I would never disrespect the cultures of the Maori or Polynesian people by stealing thier cultural art to make a buck.
