Well crap, I was kinda hoping this was not as good, but I don't know what I was thinking as I love oh my goods! Maracaibo was my expected to buy Pfister game, but this playthrough showed how enjoyable this game turns out to be. My wallet once again does not appreciate you, Rahdo! I'm glad you mentioned at the end as I was going to ask how re-playable it was after the 8 chapters. So like you mentioned, I guess that you just have to remove buildings from higher chapters to balance each map? On another note, did you get your copy of Maracaibo? or played at BGG? eager to hear about that as well. Pfister won me since Isle of the Skye.
Hey Rahdo. i m was already a big fan of omg and bought this game in Essen. It s amazing.to come back on your complain...On the back of my rulebook i found a setupguide for each chapter. So you know what map you need. What numbered cards to add in the drawdeck and what events to shuffle in and...
In my group, I'm the only Euro-gamer who cares at all about story. The rest of them just count points and look for strategies to win. They could care less about story.
nah... not the biggest fan. I played it at Essen, and I had such a bad luck with drawn cards that I couldn't combo nearly anything. other than that, too dry, endless engine builder and not that competitive
I always feel very grateful if you do a video about a game of mine. Thank you, Richard!!
thanks for continuing to make great games! can't wait for maricaibo :)
@@rahdo I've been waiting for your playthrough of Maracaibo! When are you going to?!
@@whothennow24 this month if they send a review copy :)
I hate it. Now I have to buy this! :D
Damn Richard!!! Here goes my attempt to convince myself that I do not need it as I own all the Oh my Goods stuff...
On the side of the internal box there is a timeline that links all the games in the "Oh my Goods!" universe. PortRoyale is not officially there.
I really love this game. It is excellent gameplay, really fun and lots of replayability
