What offends me more is the idiots in the comments section. Especially the non Hindus who seem to use this video to promote their religion by down grading Hindus.
Hinduism is the only religion that was adopted as a practice by the people. It was not forcefully propagated like some of the others. It flourished as a way of life for the civilized man. People were not converted or forced to follow Hinduism by *Bribe* or *Sword*

I am a Christian and certainly object to this comedy. Hindus are tolerant and many crack jokes which can be seen in movies. However you need to be more sensible when you do this as many who love Christians Will have a change. I know Muslims who respect our Hindu temples. Please stop copying the West. You have done well to keep the Indian accent. Be a complete Indian for Christ's sake. Stand up comedy in the West is very obscene. Be careful of the temptation to reach that level. This is the beginning of the end.

Enjoyed every bit of it... Alex. We Hindus are a motley bunch who can joke about our Gods and pray to them at the same time. Probably the reason why we survived religious conversions across millennia. You may get a brickbats from a few prudes from the community who can't enjoy a joke. However, I'm going to challenge you and maybe test to see if ur freedom of speech is indeed universal. No, ur answer as in blog Ninda-stuti is not enough. No, I won't accept the comic show you've on TamChris where you make fun of Christians (read: humans) going to Church. I don't think it's a fair equivalent to the Lord Ganesha video where you dragged in the core symbols of Hinduism. Here's my challenge: In the weeks leading upto Christmas, I'd like you to do a comic show involving the story of Lord Jesus and Christmas. I am Hindu and i don't find this offensive! I think he treads the line of being respectful and funny very well. Having watched his other videos as well, I really think the people that say he should stick to his own should stop seeing people through the lens of their religion exclusively.
I doubt many Hindus would know and appreciate devotional and carnatic music as much as him.

Alex is definitely not religiously biased, I have heard some lovely renditions of tyagaraja and Dikshathar krithis by him. He has the thirukural in his house. If anything, in his yoga, music and to his friends, he pours his love too much.

Just because the word Nastika exists in Hindu philosophy, doesn't mean Atheism becomes a sub-caste of Hinduism. There r numerous stories in Bible and Quran too about people being atheists.

All religion are great and every religion has story which no one currently understands
In Hindu culture all these stories signified respect a sons devotion to protect his mother, a father's hasty decision which leads to sin at his hands. There are many such stories created in order for us to learn from them on how a person should live.
In Christianity also there are many such stories which we question now like Virgin Mary tell me in which way is that even possible and if so why they had to hide to give birth to Jesus. Yes now there are multiple stories to hide the reality but we choose to ignore the fact and move towards that man who tried to bring order to chaos and got crucified for the same.
In Islam also prophet had to go through a lot to establish peace in a place that was at war and it was not easy cause that place was like that but no one questions what he did to achieve that peace.
In short respect all religions at heart yes he is making joke about god's from the fact that he believes to be true and that is what he believes if you don't share the same belief than don't be offended and by being offended you are just humiliating your faith in the God by proving his point.

When he cut the head of lord ganesh the parvati questions to lord shiva and then he ordered his followers to bring a head of any boy who is away from his mother.
Then the followers started to search that kind of boy but guess what they found the small elephant who is away from his mother so they did it and bring the elephant head to lord shiva
