- Wig colors are extremely difficult to deal with. Color codes are definitely helpful to have, but they only tell a small part of the story. I hope that this comparison will help you if you are a brunette who likes auburn and struggles like I do!

My measurements
○ Circumference= 22" (average)
○ Front of Hairline to nape of neck (over top of head)= 12.75" (average is 14.25")
○ Ear to ear over top of head= 12" (average is 13.5)
○ Temple to temple around back of head= 14.25
○ Hairline to eyebrow= 2.5"
○ Hairline to tip of nose= 4.75"
○ Hairline to bottom of chin= 8"

This was very helpful, Denise. You know how I have been struggling with colors, and I’ve been looking at the Estetica 12/26 combos, of which there are no less than FIVE! I finally broke down and ordered color rings yesterday. I’m not sure how helpful they will be with the distribution of colors, but we’ll see. It would certainly be helpful if all manufacturers would give the ratio (like the 80/20 split in the R6/28F you reviewed). That would at least give a sense of how light or dark the wig might appear. Yes, totally! GUESS WHAT??? I just recently filmed a color spotlight ready of 4 of those 12/26 Estetica colors! I hope to get it posted VERY soon (in the next 2 weeks)! They are not really all the different from each other, not as different as these two for sure.... hang tight!

@@heywigsister LOVE it! It looks really odd fresh out of the box (at least mine did), so I almost sent it back, but I'm glad I didn't. It's the kind of style that has to be played with and "made your own," which is hard to do if you're trying to keep it in shape to be returned if necessary. It's a bit confusing, TBH, because if you look at the online reviews, it looks different on everyone. I think it looks like a person's hair who got an awesome cut and is styling it on their own (if that makes sense). No one believes it's a wig - even at the beauty supply store! I washed it, and the style bounced back really well. It's a great throw and go casual style, but I also styled it with JR Piece Out cream, and it turned out very salon-perfect and professional looking. I'm a huge fan, but it's probably not the style for everyone. I asked about it at a wig store, and they said "Oh, that's the one nobody likes." If you look up the reviews from Wigs.com, Patti's Pearls, Cyster Wigs and Rachel's Radiant Wig Life, you'll see what I mean about how different it looks. You can tell I'm a fan!

Great color comparison. I totally agree that color is one of the toughest decisions when purchasing online. I have spent many an hour trying to decipher the color code & description. Then, once I have found a color that I love & wear well, I start all over again once I want to try new colors. I, personally, have found that now I am nearly two years into wig wearing I am more confident when trying new colors. Colors I never would have even considered before. Your reviews are always so helpful. It's nice that you take whatever time you need to explain things so well. Love both styles on you, the highlighting around the face on Wren is especially gorgeous.🤗

Great explanation Denise. You are right on how hard it is to get the right color. There are so many combinations. Oh, I love your hanging baskets. Mine are starting to get root bond, and will have to toss before long. 🥺
Thank you! They are called Wandering Jews and we buy them every summer. They do AWESOME in that spot and look amazing all summer long. I wish that we had a place to put them in the house in the winter, I have heard of them doing very well that way, but they are just so HEAVY by the end of summer that we could never find a space for them. Seems like such a waste to just toss them once winter comes.

I wish Estetica had a color comparable to RW 6/30. I like the warmth of it. Do you think a 4/8 mix from Estetica would get me close?
You bet! I have done more blonde colors lately because I've been fortunate to have wig sisters loan me wigs to show, but I wear brunettes and that is still my main focus. ❤
I love Name Brand wigsand get all my wigs from them...I agree,for me the hardest part is picking the color as some have name like salted caramel and someplaces just show numbers...makes it hard for a 69 year old..and

Ohhh, so loving both of these! Both colors are gorgeous but wouldn't have realized how different. It's so funny that you ask if we have any questions to leave them here but all the questions I have at the beginning of the video are usually answered by the end. You ALWAYS do such an amazing job reviewing. I can't believe that Wren was out of the box, she looks adorable. I love wigs that are wearable without much fuss. Is there a lot of permatease in these two?

Hi gorgeous! I do love red shades, I've got JR 27MB which I find the perfect strawberry blonde and it looks very natural. I've got the rth6/28 in mind as I think it's quite light but just worried about the knots of the lace front, are they too dark? thanks for all your wonderful videos :)

I just watched your video on the colors for Avalon our HT 628, do you think this wig has a lot of permatease and do you think it would fit me I am a 21 and a half inch circumference
You look beautiful in both. I have Avalon in that color & I really wish that the RTH came on more styles. I would own more Estetica wigs if it did. It is such a pretty color! I want Wren but in that color. If you know anyone at Estetica....maybe you could mention? 😁🤗 One day...sighhh

Denise Sheets I will. I just bought Jamison a few weeks ago. And after comparing the specifications on Wren it was very comparable to switch off and on with Jamison for a curly look.
