This might just be the best instructional videos on how to do "something" I have ever watched. You covered everything that needed to be covered, without making anything into a "gee wiz" sales pitch. You do not have to use an external app. You can record video and/or audio within the ppt presentation under the "slideshow " tab. Your video will be recorded within the presentation so the audience can watch you and the presentation at the same time

So how do you activate your camera so you can see yourself on screen in this mode? I can see 'start recording from beginning or current slide'....but where's the on screen camera function ?

I don't see 'Record' between Slideshow and Review.....but I do see 'Screen Recorder' if you click 'Insert'....but when you click on Screen Record.....my PPT screen disappears....and I'm left with the Desktop and a tiny small player at the top saying 'Audio'...'Pointer'...and 'Record' greyed out !

Hi Leigh, you should also give a try to use the PPT Mirror tool method in your work of video production, to convert your existing Powerpoint slides into teleprompter software is a definitive guide master eye contact with your viewers and look natural in your in-self produced videos because you don't have to read word-for-word as you always have your whole concept in front of a camera. it is a great option that assisted me in delivering professional narration. best wishes.

I also present my videos using Powerpoint slides in a teleprompter, so I mirror-flip the slides with PPT Mirror software (using a bluetooth remote). Helps me record videos keep eye contact with viewer as I always have my whole concept in front of the camera. which leads the quality of my videos to be more natural,especially talking heads.

Everyone seems to be asking that when they switch to the powerpoint, they can't see their own camera. Yes, that is a limitation of OBS using this method. But rest assured that it will be recording you. I think that it's best to look at the camera anyway rather than stare at your face when presenting. All the best!
