@@markuscorneliussen2919 so an idea I had was take from the pantheons that aren't even included because they don't have enough gods and distribute those between the others there is 13 of them and you can actually get every team including the Roman's up to 12 pick by doing it the Japanese get 5 extra Roman 1 Hindu 4 and Mayan 3 and again those could be random give or even given on the base of what a team might be lacking if you want to buff them a bit more and make it more even

I personally think Isis is the best, as I have multiple stars on her, and no one is used to playing against her, Thoth is my number 2 here. Way better range than the others, incredible burst, and has mobility, unlike the rest. Ra isn't good, and has never been good. He's average at best, and Antiheal is rampant right now. No way you pick Ra over Isis or Thoth if given the option.
Thoth would've been my pick for the Egyptian pantheon. His poke can win you teamfights alone and with a horus and sobek providing peel alongside his long dash he would be great. I also think Set is 100% better than serqet and would've chose him over serqet
Thoth is not trash lmao, few other mages can hyper carry in teamfights like he can, yeah the glyph wall means nothing late game, but a well timed and well aimed thoth ult is an easy triple kill, he suffers early so against high pressure comps he really struggles but with a good jungle, which he has in either serqet and Set he can farm pretty freely until he starts one shotting people

Chinese: Erlang out/Ao kuang in (Constantly banned at GM level) Egyptian:Ahnur out/Neith in (got picked several times in SPL, Ahnur has been barely played and has a lot of pressure in all lanes due to her ult and a lot of potencial to split push and still having impact in a team fight). Serqet out/Set in (Serqet just isnt as good as Set, besides that Set has seen more play then serqet) Ra out/Thoth in (Thoth is the only mage in the pantheon that has mobily, plus ra needs set up to do damage, thoth is just a poke king) Hindu: Kumbha out/Ganesha in (He has seen way more play time, besides that hes way better then Kumbha) Baka out/Ravana in (Ravana has seen way more play time in the SPL and with a vamana in the team youre just waitting for tripple shell and making jung/adc/solo almost useless so thats why ravana would be better here) Another note is that you're disregarding Hachi as top pick, one of the safest adcs in the game, and one of the bests on using the new pen build which with his 2 active has a lot of extra power from silverbranch
Also the fact that he said Ama is a weak solo laner is pretty controversial. I mean putting Cthulu aside she is one of the gods that is wreaking havoc in the SPL and in ranked imo.

I’ve always thought there should be a pantheon bonus like how teams work in marvel ultimate alliance 2. Would make sense for God’s that are related to have some synergy. Then if you and your buds are wrecking you can go different pantheons so the opposing team has a slight bonus maybe levelling the field?
Hey wassup, complaining commenter here back with my latest complaining, today we're taking a look at "What Is The Strongest Pantheon Team? Best Team for Each Pantheon in SMITE!"let's get right into it: - Egyptian pantheon: Why not Thoth? He seemed like the only decent pick, or at least above the three that you pondered about. - Greek Pantheon: I'd say that Aquilles has been performing really badly, I'd rather see a cerberus and either go for Chronos ADC into Chiron mid or just take the plunge and go Apollo ADC into Persephone mid if you really think she's that vital. - Hindu: I'd have picked Ganesha over Khumba, maybe because Khuba's been off-meta for awhile in the SPL or maybe because I really value the Ganesha ult but I'd say Ganesha's the superior pick. - Norse Pantheon: Goddamn, I never realized the norse roster was so stacked with great picks, also , I'd probably have picked Tyr instead of Yorm because of the Beads-burning potential the team'd have, but that's just me complaining for no good reason. - Roman pantheon: probably would have picked Terra over Bellona, but again, that's just more complaining for the sake of complaining. He simply have a potential everywhere with his early pressures and cc but not viable during all periods in a game. His ultimate make him so much better than other healing mage (except Freya of course!)
Get the f out with hades solo, that god is so dumbly OP with bancroft, purple boots and typhon's. It not even fun to play solo anymore due to lifesteal mages (anubis, hades, zhong kui and baron). Yeah if you shut them down early its no big deal, but if they kill you, you may as well surrender at 10 if you don't have full team. If you have a full team it's still a f'd up match because you end with a kda around 3/8/6 which is stupid.
I unironically think the minor pantheon team would be pretty strong. Cthulhu solo, Pele jungle, Merlin mid, and a Yemoja / Olorun duo is pretty deadly. Only problem is you definitely lack physical damage threats outside of the Pele, which would mean you would probably have to sacrifice the OP Cthulhu for like Arthur or Cu Chulainn. Still top 4 material though with high tier picks in every role outside of the Pele.
He's talking pro league, there are a few dodgy picks here and there (e.g. baka over ravana, xba over amc, chronos over anything else, final should've been chinese vs japanese) but most of what he said was correct in regards to the current meta.

But in case of other patheons in specifically ones currently available in smite in depth most of the them don't show any such feats. Well, great old ones isn't a real patheon even if it was azathoth being a mindless unbound or tier 0 being is still isn't going to beat the main three gods of hindu patheon since, there are some counter arguments regarding the power of azathoth having handicapped due to it being a mad mindless being unlike the one above all of marvel and writer of dc are all tier 0 unbound dudes but do have a mind ( off topic but.... the information of those beings is par with the depiction of hindu main gods having exactly same nature.) Am I absolute geek for mythology and stuff, thanks to smite. XD

Besides, that the most strongest being in hindu patheon is the combined form of all the gods becoming one beings known as "bhagwan vishwaroop" He is the one above all of hindu patheon, any major god like shiva, vishnu, bramha can transform into it individually O_o

Japanese team literally got robbed. Tsukuyomi shuts down Freya and Ullr, which are playing into a Kuzenbo anyways. Hachiman/Kuzenbo dominate early duo lane, since Fafnir will have to be using his stun for wave clear, since Freya's early clear is pretty crap, so no kill potential there. Thor cannot even complete in the jungle with Tsukuyomi's clear speed and gank potential. Amaterasu's 1 gives Japanese team much more mobility in the team fight. Raijin's slow + tsuku's slows combined with Ama passive is nothing to scoff at. Jungle objective speed would be somewhat similar with Ama passive vs Fafnir steroid on Freya.

I do think in greek-norse matchup the solo lane will be very important due to the insane CC jorm brings, i mean he can just disrupt the enemy team completely

You should have grouped up Celtic and Arthurian in a single group to be able to make a team out of them. Since the Arthurian mythology is kind of a sub-group/offshoot of the larger Celtic mythology.
As much as I dislike it I have to agree to exclude the smaller pantheons. King Arthur and Cthullu can absolutely carry games and if their excluded for being broken Yemoja and Cu Cullain are your alternates with a Merlin mid and a Olorun carry with a Pele jungle
I really want a Greek underworld adc so we can have an entire Greek underwold comp. We already have Cerberus support, Nox mid, Thanatos jungle, and Hades solo.
For the Egyptian i would personally choose Anubis over Ra, for the fact that a really good Ra can be annoying as well as a good teamfight support but for Anubis you have to be worried about building tons of antiheal on top of avoiding his high area damage, i’ve mastared both and i know for fact that Anubis can play different roles on teamfights depending in what the enemy team builds, in my opinion and i think everyone can agree is that as long as they dont have some item as Pestilence with area antiheal you can W key the whole team if you time well ur wraps and combo all his abilities, a little bit of cdr and the combination of spear of desolation and chronos pendant plus the lifesteal man let me tell you u are a killing machine, only requierement is use your brain, if they‘ve builded hard antiheal because they know youre on a spree try to use the jungle or not be as a frontline u could be if they didnt had counters on your build, you can burn beads and sometimes aegis and make teamfights start as a 5v4 with just wrapping and beaming the *ss out of someone. Idk man, i feel like Anubis have some dirty pros if u use him well, the obligatory use of beads for his wrap is insane u can just go gank lines be annoying in early because is where his presence is more terrifying so when u reach late game theyre mentally destroyed and dont know what to do when they notice their full build is antiheal and that cant stop you either, is just my opinion, dont get me wrong Ra is really good but dont have a hard cc or beads burning potential as anubis does.
Even with anti heal anubis can still heal a good chunk with just one ability in duel I had about 65% anti heal and he still almost healed to full in mid fight with just his 3

It breaks my heart that minor gods and demigods make up the "perfect" Greek team. My friend and I one did a "children or Kronos" team: Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Hades, and Chiron... and we spanked that match.
I think greeks probably had that matchup tbh. IMO Athena is much better than fafnir and if greek duo kept up the pressure they would win. Persephone can outrange ullr and Nem probably beats Thor 8 out of 10 fights. Plus Achilles ult gives him an advantage in solo, he would also be able to dodge 90% of jorms abilities, using backstep to outrange Jorm 2.
My only issue with this is that you said at the beginning you were doing meta picks. And I don’t think your Norse team was meta at all. I think it’s a really niche team with a lot of people in uncomfortable roles. For example, I just don’t think Freya ADC holds a candle to someone like Heim or Ullr, and your only reason for putting her there was because you have a physical mid laner, which again I think that someone like Hel outshines any reason for picking a physical god.
I'm sure 100 people already wrote this but...... that's not the roman symbol. Jokes aside this is..... actually really interesting. I'm going to run this pas a few of my friends and we see with which team we snowball the hardest in non competitive.

Wow Fenrir not even getting a mention when talking about Norse assassins. Also for the Japanese Mayan matchup id take kuku over Raijin so I think it'd be closer than u think plus I like being kuku against tsuki because he gets slow immunity for the spikes (so does cabra) and if he does tag u with the ultimate drop a tornado on yourself for the guarantee at worst I always trade with the tsuki but maybe its just me.
I think it should’ve been Norse and Chinese honestly. I think with what the SPL has showed us recently is the Persephone is it not as strong has she used to be especially against coordinated teams where her lack of early game really holds back her team. If we’re going with the best gods in every role we should use the best players in each role to. If we are talking most ranked players I think you probably made the right choices. But with pros in mind, I feel like the Greek pantheon was to late game focused, the Chinese pantheon was very well rounded and had the potential to delay early game teams and close out late game teams before they could come back. As for the winner tho I still think Norse would come out on top simply because of Frey’s and the lack of pressure they would’ve had to punish her as well as the amount of CC to peel or engage in team fights
I didn't get the Japanese one, the Japanese team is probably the best and only the Greek could probably fight it. Ama kuzembo on a backline would rekt it especially with tsukiomy diving if needed

K, not sure how much you know bout duo cause quite often you would say that the duo was weaker when it wasnt like for the Greeks you said chronos and athena was weaker than the others but thier synergy made them amazing and able to beat most duos. Thier taunt into stun into double explosion would kill most duos and even junglers as soon as they reach lvl 2.

I’ve always thought there should be a pantheon bonus like how teams work in marvel ultimate alliance 2. Would make sense for God’s that are related to have some synergy. Then if you and your buds are wrecking you can go different pantheons so the opposing team has a slight bonus maybe levelling the field?
So we're just gonna act like Janus isn't the best God in the game??
I feel like this should be a thing you do at the end of every season, just compare and see how the meta changed along with the god pools
Hey wassup, complaining commenter here back with my latest complaining, today we're taking a look at "What Is The Strongest Pantheon Team? Best Team for Each Pantheon in SMITE!"let's get right into it:
- Egyptian pantheon: Why not Thoth? He seemed like the only decent pick, or at least above the three that you pondered about.
- Greek Pantheon: I'd say that Aquilles has been performing really badly, I'd rather see a cerberus and either go for Chronos ADC into Chiron mid or just take the plunge and go Apollo ADC into Persephone mid if you really think she's that vital.
- Hindu: I'd have picked Ganesha over Khumba, maybe because Khuba's been off-meta for awhile in the SPL or maybe because I really value the Ganesha ult but I'd say Ganesha's the superior pick.
- Norse Pantheon: Goddamn, I never realized the norse roster was so stacked with great picks, also , I'd probably have picked Tyr instead of Yorm because of the Beads-burning potential the team'd have, but that's just me complaining for no good reason.
- Roman pantheon: probably would have picked Terra over Bellona, but again, that's just more complaining for the sake of complaining.

Definitely feel like there is potential with a Hades solo after seeing Fineokay absolutely boss it in the SPL 😁
He simply have a potential everywhere with his early pressures and cc but not viable during all periods in a game. His ultimate make him so much better than other healing mage (except Freya of course!)
Get the f out with hades solo, that god is so dumbly OP with bancroft, purple boots and typhon's. It not even fun to play solo anymore due to lifesteal mages (anubis, hades, zhong kui and baron).
Yeah if you shut them down early its no big deal, but if they kill you, you may as well surrender at 10 if you don't have full team. If you have a full team it's still a f'd up match because you end with a kda around 3/8/6 which is stupid.

I unironically think the minor pantheon team would be pretty strong. Cthulhu solo, Pele jungle, Merlin mid, and a Yemoja / Olorun duo is pretty deadly. Only problem is you definitely lack physical damage threats outside of the Pele, which would mean you would probably have to sacrifice the OP Cthulhu for like Arthur or Cu Chulainn. Still top 4 material though with high tier picks in every role outside of the Pele.
Pele is still a high tier jungler. She will never not be a good pick.

He's talking pro league, there are a few dodgy picks here and there (e.g. baka over ravana, xba over amc, chronos over anything else, final should've been chinese vs japanese) but most of what he said was correct in regards to the current meta.

Set would not be a good pick in solo because he's not on the best of terms with Horus and they may squabble to the death.
With the Glad chield change, Set solo has fallen off quite a lot. I personally think he's better than Serqet in jungle though.

@@ironmanrock1 not only the weapons, unlike all other patheons the hindu pantheon seems to depict the main gods as actual gods( idk if I am making sense but in simple words they are the beings of infinite possibilities so basically that omnipotent,omniscient and omnipresent begins.... there countless gods but specifically lord vishnu,shiva,brahma, many female gods O_o there just too many to count, ganesha,hunuman, many many more.
But in case of other patheons in specifically ones currently available in smite in depth most of the them don't show any such feats.
Well, great old ones isn't a real patheon even if it was azathoth being a mindless unbound or tier 0 being is still isn't going to beat the main three gods of hindu patheon since, there are some counter arguments regarding the power of azathoth having handicapped due to it being a mad mindless being unlike the one above all of marvel and writer of dc are all tier 0 unbound dudes but do have a mind ( off topic but.... the information of those beings is par with the depiction of hindu main gods having exactly same nature.)

@@mothermushroom_ not only shiva dude, most of the hindu gods can easily bust a nut over almost all the other gods of various patheons. Like I learnt, there are beings of infinite possibilities and are eternal....which is what exactly describes a true god.
Besides, that the most strongest being in hindu patheon is the combined form of all the gods becoming one beings known as "bhagwan vishwaroop"

Japanese team literally got robbed. Tsukuyomi shuts down Freya and Ullr, which are playing into a Kuzenbo anyways. Hachiman/Kuzenbo dominate early duo lane, since Fafnir will have to be using his stun for wave clear, since Freya's early clear is pretty crap, so no kill potential there. Thor cannot even complete in the jungle with Tsukuyomi's clear speed and gank potential. Amaterasu's 1 gives Japanese team much more mobility in the team fight. Raijin's slow + tsuku's slows combined with Ama passive is nothing to scoff at. Jungle objective speed would be somewhat similar with Ama passive vs Fafnir steroid on Freya.

You should have grouped up Celtic and Arthurian in a single group to be able to make a team out of them.
Since the Arthurian mythology is kind of a sub-group/offshoot of the larger Celtic mythology.
Considering The Great Old ones has only cthulhu, I think he'd win a 5v5 versus anyone in smite's pantheon groups

As much as I dislike it I have to agree to exclude the smaller pantheons. King Arthur and Cthullu can absolutely carry games and if their excluded for being broken Yemoja and Cu Cullain are your alternates with a Merlin mid and a Olorun carry with a Pele jungle

For the Egyptian i would personally choose Anubis over Ra, for the fact that a really good Ra can be annoying as well as a good teamfight support but for Anubis you have to be worried about building tons of antiheal on top of avoiding his high area damage, i’ve mastared both and i know for fact that Anubis can play different roles on teamfights depending in what the enemy team builds, in my opinion and i think everyone can agree is that as long as they dont have some item as Pestilence with area antiheal you can W key the whole team if you time well ur wraps and combo all his abilities, a little bit of cdr and the combination of spear of desolation and chronos pendant plus the lifesteal man let me tell you u are a killing machine, only requierement is use your brain, if they‘ve builded hard antiheal because they know youre on a spree try to use the jungle or not be as a frontline u could be if they didnt had counters on your build, you can burn beads and sometimes aegis and make teamfights start as a 5v4 with just wrapping and beaming the *ss out of someone.
Idk man, i feel like Anubis have some dirty pros if u use him well, the obligatory use of beads for his wrap is insane u can just go gank lines be annoying in early because is where his presence is more terrifying so when u reach late game theyre mentally destroyed and dont know what to do when they notice their full build is antiheal and that cant stop you either, is just my opinion, dont get me wrong Ra is really good but dont have a hard cc or beads burning potential as anubis does.
Even with anti heal anubis can still heal a good chunk with just one ability in duel I had about 65% anti heal and he still almost healed to full in mid fight with just his 3

Thoth requires a lot of safety for most of the game, and he doesn't come online until probably like 12 to 15 minutes in depending on the player

Make more of these types of videos when you have time and 2. Spend a bit more time explaining your thought process on how the match would go. It breaks my heart that minor gods and demigods make up the "perfect" Greek team. My friend and I one did a "children or Kronos" team: Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Hades, and Chiron... and we spanked that match.
I think greeks probably had that matchup tbh. IMO Athena is much better than fafnir and if greek duo kept up the pressure they would win. Persephone can outrange ullr and Nem probably beats Thor 8 out of 10 fights. Plus Achilles ult gives him an advantage in solo, he would also be able to dodge 90% of jorms abilities, using backstep to outrange Jorm 2.
My only issue with this is that you said at the beginning you were doing meta picks. And I don’t think your Norse team was meta at all. I think it’s a really niche team with a lot of people in uncomfortable roles. For example, I just don’t think Freya ADC holds a candle to someone like Heim or Ullr, and your only reason for putting her there was because you have a physical mid laner, which again I think that someone like Hel outshines any reason for picking a physical god.

Wow Fenrir not even getting a mention when talking about Norse assassins. Also for the Japanese Mayan matchup id take kuku over Raijin so I think it'd be closer than u think plus I like being kuku against tsuki because he gets slow immunity for the spikes (so does cabra) and if he does tag u with the ultimate drop a tornado on yourself for the guarantee at worst I always trade with the tsuki but maybe its just me.

I think with what the SPL has showed us recently is the Persephone is it not as strong has she used to be especially against coordinated teams where her lack of early game really holds back her team.
If we’re going with the best gods in every role we should use the best players in each role to. If we are talking most ranked players I think you probably made the right choices.
But with pros in mind, I feel like the Greek pantheon was to late game focused, the Chinese pantheon was very well rounded and had the potential to delay early game teams and close out late game teams before they could come back.
As for the winner tho I still think Norse would come out on top simply because of Frey’s and the lack of pressure they would’ve had to punish her as well as the amount of CC to peel or engage in team fights

I didn't get the Japanese one, the Japanese team is probably the best and only the Greek could probably fight it. Ama kuzembo on a backline would rekt it especially with tsukiomy diving if needed

odin is BUSTED and you pick jorm solo over him? also Baka over Kali is a little questionable to me and Herc support over Terra is questionable as well
K, not sure how much you know bout duo cause quite often you would say that the duo was weaker when it wasnt like for the Greeks you said chronos and athena was weaker than the others but thier synergy made them amazing and able to beat most duos. Thier taunt into stun into double explosion would kill most duos and even junglers as soon as they reach lvl 2.
this guy obviously doesnt look at pick/ban rates or win %...you can already tell who he was going to pick to win at the start of the tournament. you should probablly change the title to "My favorite Pantheon vs the other ones."
Hear me out, I know Chaac is a pretty bad supp but with sledge he can works there and synergises ever so slightly with Awilix jungle, and that gives you Cama solo too
