Custom Bowl yea i dont wanna lose the volume and track control on the steering wheel either plus it already has apple car play. It could save allot of time and money. I seen they made an adapter for the factory head unit that enables you to hook up an amplifier, but i wanna see it done before i buy the adapter cause its around 150 dollars
You can you’d need a digital sound converter (or line out converter) that plug into stereo with special hookups and the amps plug into the DSC (LOC)

@@alicianoel811 no but from what i heard you have to take the glove box out and remove the ac control panel and get into from there. i just left it. fuck that............

But after I asked you, I had figured that out and started to lift the panel under the steering wheel and lifted some of the panel behind the a/c knobs but couldn’t do it all because I couldn’t get the passenger side to lift. I could see the light, so I decided to forget it and as I started to piece back the panel and click into place the part under the wheel near the airbag would not click into place!!!!! I tried for HOURS. My brother tried to do it and it was stuck. So this morning 10/16/20 I took my car back to Nissan. They wanted to charge 1 hour of labor $130.00 to get the light out. Then I said forget it can you just snap this into place. The tech tried and it wouldn’t budge. Said he’s have to take the entire panel across out to realign because the clips just weren’t lining up to snap back in. Smh so it was still gonna be the same price and he’d just fix the light as he did that. I got my car 2 weeks ago, 9/30/20 and it’s not even 600 miles lol. I had no choice. I asked the service guy about the $15 discount for services over $100 and he gave me $30 off. I paid a flat $100. Smh never again! It’s fixed but i tell you that is the most stupidest light I’ve ever seen. All you gotta do is pinch it and it will get stuck inside that hole. Smh
@@alicianoel811 WOW. Good god im not paying 130$ for that. Jesus. Mines been like this for a year or so, i have a 2019 about to hit 30k miles. I really want to just bring it to a audio shop and ask them to put an led in it. I have leds everywhere from the trunk, to the glove box, to the switchback led turn signals. Its all so easy except for that light. Just asshole in tbe design part of that. Thats crazy!

My power knob is loose. I was told that I would have to replace the entire unit for $1800. For a knob.
Ours will not change volume. We were told same thing. Will never get another Nissan
@@MichaelKozicki mines started messing up from both knobs man. Cmon Nissan. Mines a 2019 btw
@@MichaelKozicki my radio stopped working and I searched for a solution. I found a video talking about taking off the volume know and spraying inside the turn know with w-d40. I used a tire shine spray and then seen a video speaking about taking out fuses to the radio and putting them back in. I did all of that and my radio volume came back....no lie. I thanked God for that.

The one I got my car from tried to tell me it was 8k to replace the radio and 6 hours of labor.

@@muteyikuku1106 no idea, I wasn’t getting mine fixed I just got a 2020 Altima 2 days ago they were trying to talk me into buying the $4500 extended warranty I didn’t get.

Can you please make a video showing where to run a power wire from the battery through the firewall ? I can only seem to find 1 rubber grommet to use but can't find the entrance point inside the vehicle only in the engine bay

Why would one want to remove this radio?
Add a line out converter to back of it and also repair
Or replace with a aftermarket stereo
