Let us examine this claim that Mohammed is mentioned in the Bible. first and foremost, the Quran never said that Mohommed is prophesied in the Bible. It is a makeup story from Islamic teachers like this. According to the quoted Bible verse in Deuteronomy 18:18 18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. Moses was speaking here to the children of Israel. Look at the phrase "like unto thee". It means "among you Israelites". The prophet Moses was referring to will be an Israelite. Not an Arab. All the Prophets of Yahweh are Jews. Mohammed was not a Jew and was not the person referred to in Deuteronomy 18:18 Wrong teaching Dr. Naik.

When Prophet Moses, may peace and blessings be upon him, was quoting God as promising to send a prophet like Moses the verse says ‘from among their brethren’. Who are the brethren of the Israelites (from Issac)? They are, simply, the Ishmaelites (his brother). This is a clear and straightforward indication that the prophet who is going to be ‘like unto Moses’ from the brethren of the Israelites is Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessing be upon him.

According to the quoted Bible verse in Deuteronomy 18:18
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
Moses was speaking here to the children of Israel. Look at the phrase "like unto thee". It means "among you Israelites".
The prophet Moses was referring to will be an Israelite. Not an Arab.
All the Prophets of Yahweh are Jews. Mohammed was not a Jew and was not the person referred to in Deuteronomy 18:18

The Lord Jesus was speaking to his "disciples" that the Father will send another Comforter.
The prophet of Islam Mohammed did not come until after about 700 years after this statement was made. All the disciples have died 600 years before Mohammed.
But the comforter was to come to the disciples. And the Comforter came on the day of Pentecost in Jerusalem, and the disciples experienced the Comforter.
What Dr. Naik did not tell you is that the Bible tells us who the comforter is.

In the gospel of John Chapter 16 verse 7 if you read it says “ But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.” So in Islam Muhammad was sent by Allah so if Jesus says I will send him to you that means he is Allah.

Also the claim that the eem (or im) in ma-kha-madeem in the Hebrew language was “added for respect” is false . This claim is untrue and unsubstantiated. The addition ‘-im’ is just a superlative of ‘desire', so it means 'most desire'. The same as ‘mamtaqim’ = most sweet and ‘partamim' = most noble.
Forms of the same Hebrew word are used elsewhere in the Old Testament, yet Islamic ‘scholars' do not claim that those passages refer to Muhammad. Rightly so, since those verses cannot be forced to fit the notion that Muhammad is under consideration. The first prophet is Adam and the last prophet is Muhammad. Jesus is one of the prophet. I dont know why christian worship Jesus eventhough Jesus teach his people to worship Almighty God, not worship a prophet. All the prophets had given the same messages. Worship one God.
