I went to China a few years ago and we were taken to these factories where you order and return the next day with a full suitcase waiting for you. I came back with 3 extra suitcases and I never ever shopped at the big SA retailers again (bo Edg.., Fosc.. Truwo...). We were literally given these shop's catalogues and picked what we wanted and sizes. We get to SA and some of the stuff is still for sale in the stores 🤯 Ridiculously cheap, same quality and obviously no labels.

So you don't get hung up about were you buy your clothes, whether it be from HnM or PEP for example. It's in the quality of the fabrication and garment construction.

This was so informative. You answered a lot of questions in my head. I believe that’s why big retail stores are not doing well now because they do not keep in trend. You get to the shop and it’s all flower dresses like that’s so last season.
If they could improve that, they will definitely sell more. Places like Mr Price and the fix is getting better because they realized that staying in trend is important.

Namolinah it’s around R140 for a set. We use an online system here which means if I were to go to a factory I’d probably get it for cheaper. But living here, 59¥ is already quite cheap
