You really can't go wrong with any of the songs from the 2013 Wacken show. It was really one of the best live concerts of the century so far. I'd also recommend The Islander and The Greatest Show in Earth from the Tampere 2015 show.

This song is Like a Coffee with Red Bull .... On Steroids 🤘❤🔥🤘. The “scream” at the end is called a glissando, going from low to high and back, for classically trained singers this is an exercise to warm up the vocal cords, so Floor will do this probably every day before breakfast . AND,...Floor has 3 distinct styles. Head banging(straight forward, then back), hair whip(almost like cracking a bull whip) and the Windmill(continuous 360 degree revolutions). Why Windmill? Well she is Dutch. Nightwish lyrics are often a bit interpretive, and not as "straight forward" as many other bands, because Tuomas ( The Metal Mozart Tuomas Holopainen: founder, leader, keyboardist, songwriter and the main composer for Nightwish.) prefers people to put their own interpretations and life experiences into the lyrics. you connect with songs on a personal level when there is something there that relates to things you have gone/are going through, and you may even find new connections later on in life when you have gone through other big events/emotions. there might be songs you are quite indifferent about (oh, nice song) and then you go through something big and all of a sudden it makes you break down in tears because now you relate to something in the lyrics you didn't before, and see it from a whole new perspective. imagination and life experiences are powerful, and Tuomas has great appreciation of this. Pause all you need to, we love to see new people exploring this wonderful band, sitting through lyrical breakdowns, vocal coaches breakdown, even line by line ones at times but, in the end what counts is that the music is inspiring millions IMO. Honestly, there is not a song that Nightwish has created that, I will not recommend, I have enjoyed them all and some of them, many many many times through, seeing other people hearing them for the first time.

:) Its a good start to go thru the whole Wacken 2013 concert, but you do as you want, it is hard to go wrong with Nightwish, one song you should wait wit is "Poet and the Pendulum", its an amazing song but it needs to put in to perspective, so please wait with that one :) you will have a great time with Nightwish and the Nightwish Army :) and btw. regarding your pausing, its your channel and you do as you like, only you know how to get the most out of your Nightwish experience, and it is ALWAYS a lot to take in during a Nightwish song (lyrics, music and visuals)

Nightwish & and their record company welcome reaction channels, but other sites can be a bit dodgy. I subbed after your first (very enjoyable) reaction. Welcome from the Arkansas USA Division. As you can see, Emmpu Vuorinen can shred with the best guitar players out there today. Best part is, he plays to what the song needs, they all play to what the song needs. On top of that he's enjoys Corona beer as he plays. It's always nice to see our Valkyrie Goddess claim another soul! I watched your GLS reaction and subbed after this one. So now you have seen and heard a tiny percentage of what Floor and Marko can do vocally, you have so much left to experience! Yes, of course we would all go to war at Floor's command but because she is such a lovely person - humble and empathic- she never would! This festival, Wacken 2013 was her European introduction as a member of Nightwish, but most members of the crowd already knew her from her previous bands. She is one of an absurd number of Dutch metal Goddesses - put onto your list Consign To Oblivion featuring Floor's old friend, roommate and fellow student at the Rockacademie, Simone Simons in a band founded by Floor's old bandmate Mark Jansen. (No relation.) The standard performance for reactors is Live at the Zenith. I am 48 and only heard of Nightwish in 2019. The years since then have been a whirlwind of discovering new and amazing music - and cursing the English speaking music industry for keeping me so ignorant!
You will find that like BAND-MAID who you already have met NIGHTWISH is a very very rare band that despite having incredibly talented people on every instrument and can create music that is both original and complex they have ZERO EGOS that usually tear most bands apart. Also, they are both incredible live. I was lucky to see both in 2022. You also have yet to meet NIIGHTWISH's 6th band member who also is a pretty good singer. He is best seen in "I WANT MY TEARS BACK" the Benous Aires show version is my fave.
STORYTIME, is going to knock your socks off. Floor shows off a little bit for you. And it just keeps getting better and better. Kinda jealous, you act like I did when I first found nightwish. Enjoy your self, it's fun and adventurous. Great reaction more please.

My opinion Foor is 🔥 But i listen all of them. Everyone of them sing beatyfuly but different to each other. I love these songs: Sleeping Sun.❤ Song of mysel, Ghost River, 🔥Seven days before wulwes. Nemo, Elan. And Storytime. 🥰 There is lots of other songs too, but for example these you should look at too.🥰

Singing upwards that way is called a Glissando (=italian). As in gliding from one tone to another.
A nice detail is that they start with a Glissando together, but halfway through Marco does a Glissando downwards and Floor continues all the way up.

You pause as much or as little as you want! Listening without pausing gives you a better feel for the mood and structure, but leave it too long and you're likely to forget what you wanted to comment on. Swings and roundabouts. Anyway, fun seeing you get into this, enjoy the ongoing journey!

Its a good start to go thru the whole Wacken 2013 concert, but you do as you want, it is hard to go wrong with Nightwish, one song you should wait wit is "Poet and the Pendulum", its an amazing song but it needs to put in to perspective, so please wait with that one :) you will have a great time with Nightwish and the Nightwish Army :)
and btw. regarding your pausing, its your channel and you do as you like, only you know how to get the most out of your Nightwish experience, and it is ALWAYS a lot to take in during a Nightwish song (lyrics, music and visuals)
If you follow the links in Gabriel's list (at least at first) you'll find the best versions from the best concerts, and steer clear of any copyright problems. Nightwish & and their record company welcome reaction channels, but other sites can be a bit dodgy. I subbed after your first (very enjoyable) reaction. You've still no idea how deep this rabbit hole goes yet, so buckle in and enjoy the ride.

My first thought seeing your reaction posted this morning was to laugh and go - "well, she's done it now - she's hooked" You're one of the millions in the Nightwish Army. Welcome from the Arkansas USA Division. As you can see, Emmpu Vuorinen can shred with the best guitar players out there today. Best part is, he plays to what the song needs, they all play to what the song needs. On top of that he's enjoys Corona beer as he plays. Wait until you see Troy Donockley and his Uilleann pipes and his tin and low whistles. You'll prolly want some tissues around then. He really yanks on your soul.

It's always nice to see our Valkyrie Goddess claim another soul! I watched your GLS reaction and subbed after this one. So now you have seen and heard a tiny percentage of what Floor and Marko can do vocally, you have so much left to experience! Yes, of course we would all go to war at Floor's command but because she is such a lovely person - humble and empathic- she never would! This festival, Wacken 2013 was her European introduction as a member of Nightwish, but most members of the crowd already knew her from her previous bands. She is one of an absurd number of Dutch metal Goddesses - put onto your list Consign To Oblivion featuring Floor's old friend, roommate and fellow student at the Rockacademie, Simone Simons in a band founded by Floor's old bandmate Mark Jansen. (No relation.) The standard performance for reactors is Live at the Zenith. I am 48 and only heard of Nightwish in 2019. The years since then have been a whirlwind of discovering new and amazing music - and cursing the English speaking music industry for keeping me so ignorant!

You will find that like BAND-MAID who you already have met NIGHTWISH is a very very rare band that despite having incredibly talented people on every instrument and can create music that is both original and complex they have ZERO EGOS that usually tear most bands apart. Also, they are both incredible live. I was lucky to see both in 2022. You also have yet to meet NIIGHTWISH's 6th band member who also is a pretty good singer. He is best seen in "I WANT MY TEARS BACK" the Benous Aires show version is my fave.
STORYTIME, is going to knock your socks off. Floor shows off a little bit for you. And it just keeps getting better and better. Kinda jealous, you act like I did when I first found nightwish. Enjoy your self, it's fun and adventurous. Great reaction more please.

Do you already know, that Nightwish has had three different singers? Tarja Turunen was whirst Finnis singer, then was Anette Olson from Sweden.
And Floor is third. My opinion Foor is 🔥 But i listen all of them. Everyone of them sing beatyfuly but different to each other.
