Good day! We are happy to help you with our education and instructional videos.
Hi Electrolux, I would to ask if I can cook with a pan that is larger than the actual size of a zone, for example the "Center Front Element Burner" Size is listed at 8", can I cook using a 10" pan?... 8" is kinda small for a pan, and 8" is the largest zone size for this cooktop, can I still cook using the 10" for example?.
Good day! It's generally not recommended to cook with a pan that is larger than the size of the heating element on your stove, especially for electric or induction cooktops. Here's why: When you use a pan that is larger than the heating element, the outer edges of the pan may not receive as much direct heat as the center. This can result in uneven cooking and potentially lead to food burning in the center while the outer edges remain undercooked. Using a larger pan requires more energy to heat up because a significant portion of the heat generated by the element is lost beyond the edges of the pan. This can result in longer cooking times and higher energy consumption. A larger pan can overhang the edges of the heating element, increasing the risk of accidental burns or spills. It may also destabilize the pan and make it more prone to tipping or spilling its contents.
hi I would like to know to what number I should heat for boiling 4 eggs hard?
The MAX setting should bring you to a full boil in a few minutes. It will automatically switch to level 9 after 10 minutes, or you can switch it manually once the water is boiling. Level 9 should keep up a roiling boil to quickly cook your eggs! ~Ashton
@@electroluxus thank you guys!
You're very welcome! :) We hope you're enjoying your eggs and everything else you're making on your new cooktop! ~Ashton
Hi , I would like to know the model of my Electrolux hob. We are moving to a used house. There was no user manual or model number of the hob. The thing I noted is that the temperature adjustment is in round style. Please advise.
Hi! The model and serial number for cooktops are typically located along the underside of the cooktop base when lifted.
Is there a way to prevent the unit from shutting off when you're right in the middle of cooking four different things and something spills slightly on it and the entire cooktop shuts down?
Hello! Ensure that the cookware you're using is induction-compatible. Cookware must have a flat, magnetic bottom to work with an induction cooktop. If the cooktop does not detect suitable cookware, it may shut off. Make sure the cookware is centered on the cooking zone.
Hi. What's the name of the ceramic cleaning cream? Thank you
Good day! If you have cast-iron grates, follow these steps: • Wash the grates in the dishwasher. • Coat the grates with a thin layer of cooking oil. • Bake the grates in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes. If you have porcelain-coated grates, simply place them in the dishwasher and coat any unfinished areas with a thin layer of cooking oil after washing. ~Anthony
The ui on these things is terrible

Why won’t it work ?no lights ,no heat ,no buzz?
Hi, Terry! Sorry to hear your induction cooktop is not working. Please ensure the pans you're using are ferromagnetic - a magnet should be able to stick firmly across the entire base. Check for any error codes on screen or, if there is no display, check that it has access to adequate power and your breaker has not tripped. If the issue continues, please reach out to us by Live Chat or by phone at 800-374-4432 Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 8:00pm EST so we can help! ~Ashton
