I am from Bengaluru itself.
Due to freebies
1) Electric prices increased
2) Water charges increased
3) Stamp duty increased from 50 rupee to 500 rupee
4) Petrol price increased
5) Milk rates increased
6) Registration fee increased.
And not even a single new project from government.
All companies are moving to TN or Telangana, as Karnataka government is not offering them any tax benefits.

As a resident of Bangalore for the past 30 years, I can tell you that this city has now become a hell hole. Especially last year, under Congress government. Electricity, city bus corporation, PWD everything is reeling under the burden of pappu Rahul Gandhi's free-bee culture. I am surprised that a person like Sidharamayya agreed to Pappu's plan.
Very very true .Inspite of paying a high electricity bill, 2 months back we got a whooping additional bill of 24 thousand rs saying it is " old balance" !!!!!!!

There needs to be an urgent law to ban freebies as part of election promises. In fact, EVEN after elections, there should be a law that will allow freebies ONLY if there is a budget surplus. This will prevent ALL parties from using taxpayer money to gain/hold power.
