this pinball series has the all time best music. zen pinball's music is nice but damn theres just something about digital illusions pinball tracks that really shine
If you're new to Amiga pinballs you should try Pinball Dreams which definitely has the best music. Especially intro and ignition table music are awesome. It should also be a lot more playable.
I got this game for PC, and you say, "This is easily the most unplayable pinball I've ever tried", I have to agree with you on that one! I stopped playing it after a (very short) while...although I do still have the disc!! I wound up loading the .MOD files into Scream Tracker 3, and made my own tunes from the samples ^_^
@madmatt667 The gravity is too high and the small flippers are set into awkward angles. There's no way to get enough speed and find good positions for rewarding shots. The ball always hits walls instead of slots / ramps. It feels like it's just slipping instead of rolling. Hadn't checked there was a dos release also, perhaps they forgot to try this one before releasing it.
@einokeino303 It is possible to get rewarding shots. I made them so often. But it's been like 15 years ago that I had played this. I highscored Kick-Off with 4billion points. But in any case this pinball was the best game. I played it so much.
Holy fuck, I remember playing this game on Windows 98/DOS(I still have the disc, even :D)............Why hasn't this game been remade? Also, oh lawd, Tarantula...........I still remember that shit x3
I keep thinking of having a go at Pinball Mania, and trying to think that the best (well, the most playable) table is the Jailbreak one, but frankly all of them have terrible ball physics, and there's no sense of control at all. The Kick Off table is the worst pinball table I have ever played- the Jackpot one the dullest. Amiga Power magazine gave it 11%, and labelled it an embarrassment as the lead game for the Amiga 1200 Magic bundle in 1995. They were right.
11% was pathetic. Typical Amiga Power being way too harsh as usual for no good reason other than to try and look cool and trendy and left wing. This game was worth considerably more than that

My childhood!
Try playing Pinball Dreams on the Amiga (PC version is bad), or pinball Fantasies on the PC, and the see if you still like the physics. :)

OMG, Spidersoft did amiga too??!?!?!
stil sucks just as bad. physics are totally unfair. only halfway decent spidersoft title is pinball dreams 2.
Well, it's the Amiga, what do you expect?
PC version's much better, IMO.
