Really engaging, close battle. Love both armies so great to see them getting a run out and the variety of Sylvaneth lists you've been able to run is awesome compared to some other armies!

Neat game, I've been dabbling with Oak and exploding 6's on a Durthu with Gladius can be quite fun. Might even buy another Durthu to really drive the point home. It does lack some of the tactical finesse, but 3 treelords, 1 ancient and 2 durthu's would be quite fun.
Ah damn missed the premiere by an hour! Used to collect warriors of chaos, just now started sylvaneth, this is gonna be a treat!

I know this is not game related, but last game I noticed that the video looked a bit better, and today I was thinking about it again, and god it looks so crispy and clean! I'm guessing you guys upgraded cameras, and it definitely shows!

Makes sense that Ridge likes StD. It’s a lot like Seraphon with its big roster if units and extremely solid buffs.

On slaves turn 4 was there space to teleport and summon on to the middle objective? It looks tight with the tree and the bug blocking most of the space but perhaps just on the very bottom quarter edge of that middle objective there was space? That said turn 5 may have been harder to get the opponents objective but still possible... this would have got 1-2 more and set up for the grand strat which would have been tough to survive but still possible? Really close game, nice to see a non slaves archaon list do well despite the close loss
The summoning of marauders has to be within 6 inches of a board edge, so they couldn't have summoned on the middle sadly, though perhaps the Sorc Lord on Manticore could have taken the objective? 🤔

The Ravagers command ability can only be used by every hero once per battle, when that hero is selected to be the general (also with the subfaction allegiance abilities). So with this list you could only summon a max of 3 times this game, if you make every hero the general at least once.

Pretty sure you can't control a terrain piece and objective with the same unit, so I guess it's even closer end result. :)

general consensus is you can, since terrain is controlled "like" an objective, but isn't the same (3" vs 6") and being different things they would overlap rather than replace, but it would be a nice FAQ to settle it.
@@vocenoctum2046 I have never seen anyone play it that way, which includes tournaments at Warhammer World, so I don't think you can say "general consensus". :)
Either way it didn't matter in this case since the Dryads couldn't teleport that far in the first place (reduced range because of the season).
@@Fagerlund_ True enough, general consensus in the TO discussions I've seen, but that's as useful as whoever you're talking to at the moment for sure. :)
I like Winterleaf with Oak, since the treelords already have a bunch of 6" rules anyway, makes it sort of easier.

can 2 wizards have the same spell?
They can, but only one can attempt to cast it in a hero phase. You limit your selection, but it lets you keep a useful spell around if one of the wizards is killed, and gives you more options if the casters have range to different units.
The Chaos Sorcerers were using an ability they both share, not a spell for +1 save. Not sure if that clarifies what you were getting at.
