- Prison Mutiny 1943 crime drama movie. Of the 1940's crime films, old prison escape movies can be some of the more interesting dramas. Filmed at San Quentin State Prison with Milburn Stone (Doc from Gunsmoke) as the prison warden who tries to rehabilitate a rich playboy who is doing hard time but claims to be innocent. Soon he becomes involved in a prison break, the "Prison Mutiny" you saw in the title. It's not bad if you enjoy straightforward B-movie crime dramas and if you like Monogram crime movies it's a good one. Synopsis by - Broken Trout -

Other than "Doc" Adams of Gunsmoke, I haven't seen any of this wonderful cast.
Great movies you'll never get to see on TV.
Hole up how is Doc on this move is he the security guard
Which one is dark on this movie that plays guns play on Gunsmoke
Wow-!!!😳. He was that young that I didn't recognise him-!!!🤔.
That wasn't " Doc Adams "-!!! That was an imposter-!!!😳.
Loved this Goldie. Great film. So cliche' !! The dialogue is out of this world. Thanks for this.

Ok i see Doc now wow he look nice when he was younger very good movie love these old time movies and there's no cursing😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤ keep posting up the good old movies
Remember Milford Stone in a few movies🤔. Gun Smoke was a splendid way for him to finish his acting career-!!!😉
These old times gangster movies are great
Edward Norris (1911 - 2002) appeared in movies between 1933 and 1956 although he never achieved much fame or recognition - many of his early roles were uncredited because they were so incidental to the story. He occasionally appeared in TV shows from 1951 to 1963 including two appearances on Perry Mason. MGM planned to groom him as a leading man but Louis B Meyer abandoned that idea when the studio signed the handsome youngster Robert Taylor. By the late 1930s, he was angry at his failure to break through in his career and he became despondent and alcoholic although later he recovered. He was a very wealthy man due to astute real estate investments.
Thank you! @Russell Grenning very informative.
Thanks a lot russell. Very informative
This drama is spectacular, I love it !!
Thank you for taking the time to watch it @yssunjoko I love these old crime films.
ONE THING THAT SICKENS ME BEYOND NAUSEA IS AN INNOCENT MAN SERVING TIME IN PRISON!!!
well it's okay... innocent men serve time in prison actually... it happens everywhere everytime, as absurdity of life
Especially if it's you 😥😩
Me, too.
Unfortunately the vast majority of the so called " innocent ". Were into the criminal life styles before that conviction. So, what are you doing about this innocent convict injustice dilemma-???🤔. Other then vomiting-???🤔.
Interesting/informative/entertaining. Although I don't recognise any of those actors. Enjoying this presentation as if they were the more well known actors years later-!😉. Realistically portrayed in mates/guards/warden. Wishing viewers a safe/healthy/prosperous (2024)🌈🎉💵😉.
no man in the world who spent one only day in prison will ever turn into a guard. trust me. framed or legit. never.
Oh......!😅 Millburn Stone"..Doc" on Gunsmoke..prison guard ..i love seeing these wonderful classic actors ans actress s ..they work for years. ..thats hiw thry made thrir living ...so cool
Great film!!..never seen before... Millburn Stone " always played a fine person ..in His characters...a Patriot .bc he was a fine person in real life
.
I keep expecting the warden (Milburn Stone) to bust out with a "what in tarnation" or something like that.
I like how he called the knife a toad stabber😂
>> 19: 00 < The warden is a spastic. His right hand is contorted and seized up , as if , in the throes of a seizure.
This is a remarkable film. Quite dramatic. Thx loved it.
Another feel good movie with happy ending. Seems like they could have hired some guards under 60 though. Keep "um coming Trout as we can't get enough of feeling good~!!
You know it @Rickarama Trama Those guards (screws) would have had a coronary running to the end of old cell block number 9 there.
@@BrokenTrout Yes I thought the same thing~!!!
JACK LA RUE ALWAYS A GREAT BAD GUY THANK YOU BROKEN TROUT I LIKE THIS MOVIE , I ENJOYED WATCHING THE FLOWER PLANTING SCENE WAS SO SWEET GOOD PRISON MOVIE

I have an autographed photo of Jack - imagine that?!
It's nice to see he's recognized and remembered.
I don't think Jack was ever out of work.He had one of those faces@@kpflo123
you can't beat the law 1943
Some clunky dialogue and off delivery of lines, but this turned out to be a pretty good movie - Spoiler Alert: the title is the clue. Thanks!
Well... where's Millburn Stone? "Doc '... from Gunsmoke..? Never mind...he just became Warden...damn he's a youngster.
That's not him-!!! Its an imposter-!!!🤔.
great little movie "BT" ... thanks for the upload
Hi Richard! I thought it was a very good Monogram picture. Your welcome @Richard Dominguez
Jack la Rue playing Bogart.
Music is terrible, speed messed up
26 mins I don't think all of them would hear his speach.
Great ole slang";.."these birds " ..the slammer" ..goin straight" ..."Copper" .. flatfoot" ..hah..& no real foul language & curse words..🇺🇸👍

You mean 4 minutes and 4 seconds? Patricia Bedford says to Johnny Gray:
"Oh, no. I'm putting you on a month's probation." (Well? So... what about it?)
Just downright clean honest fun, let's make America great again, you go Brandon! Back in the day they would have thrown that guy out and beat him up, Saddam Hussein was my hero, when you lock the doors and had all this cold hurts and separate them like sheeps from goats, I never seen so many honest men sweat in my life what happened to the good old days when the police will kick your ass I don't give a damn if your black or white, got to love a good honest🤪😜😩 cop
