@@ty_bates1 When you say, "What else would you believe? You would rather believe that something came from nothing (the Big Bang theory)?"-you're misunderstanding the science. The Big Bang theory doesn’t claim “something came from nothing.” It describes how the universe expanded from a hot, dense state. The origin of that state is a separate, unresolved question. There are several working hypotheses, such as quantum fluctuations (the most strongly supported) or a cyclic universe. Suggesting a god for this tiny window is a classic “God of the Gaps” fallacy: inserting a deity where knowledge is incomplete. Saying “God did it” doesn’t solve the problem; it just replaces one mystery with another unproven claim. Where did God come from? Why exempt God from needing a cause but not the universe? As for “life doesn’t come from non-life,” that’s an oversimplification. Abiogenesis-the natural process by which life arose from non-living matter-is still being studied, but invoking God just inserts a placeholder for something we don’t fully understand yet. Remember, the "petri dish" for this process was the size of the entire Earth, with countless naturally occurring experiments happening simultaneously over millions of years. Eventually, the right combination emerged to produce a form of life capable of surviving long enough to reproduce. Claiming “God did it” is a classic “God of the gaps” argument: “I don’t know how this happened, so God must have done it.” That’s not an explanation; it’s giving up on the search for real answers. You also said, “you cannot PROVE anything,” but that’s a misrepresentation of how science works. Proof is for mathematics; science is about evidence. We accept conclusions based on overwhelming evidence and repeated testing, not because we claim absolute certainty. I don’t need to test every medicine because rigorous testing already happens. Do you test your food for poison before eating? You trust evidence-based systems daily, even if you don’t realize it. Regarding your belief in the Bible because of the “5800 Greek manuscripts,” that number says nothing about the truth of the claims within those manuscripts. Manuscripts are just copies of works. If I were to copy the Harry Potter books 5,800 times, it wouldn’t make Hogwarts real. Quantity of manuscripts doesn’t equal historical accuracy. By that logic, we’d have to accept Greek mythology as true because it also has extensive written records. And just because people picked up stones in John 8:58 doesn’t mean they understood Jesus correctly, let alone that the event happened as described. Your argument on suffering, that “terrible times don’t compare to an eternity,” assumes the very thing in question: that an afterlife exists and God’s plan is benevolent. But your anecdotal experience doesn’t explain natural disasters or child suffering. Saying some people “feel better for it” doesn’t justify the suffering of those who don’t. If God is all-powerful, why not give people the benefits of growth without the pain? That would actually reflect an all-loving deity. Finally, your view of love is conditional. Saying “I love the person but hate the sin” is just a way to justify judgment. Real love doesn’t demand conformity to a belief system or moral standard. It accepts people as they are. if God's love is conditional on belief, then it’s not unconditional love, it's transactional. Your analogy of telling people about Jesus because you “love” them assumes your beliefs are true. If they’re not, your approach comes across as patronizing, not loving. The comedian you quoted said, “How much do I have to hate you not to tell you?”-but what if that “truth” is wrong? How much damage could you do by convincing someone to believe a claim that lacks solid evidence? I’ve replied to many of the shorts people keep reposting from Cliffe Knechtle and found every single one of them lacking in evidence and support. You’ve offered interpretations and personal experiences as evidence, but none of that proves your claims are true. If your response boils down to “I believe this because I believe it,” that’s not convincing-it’s just faith pretending to be knowledge.
@ I don’t have the time to reply to this at the moment. I should tonight but if I do not reply tonight then I will probably make a video answering similar points to what you have brought up or something like that(I won’t mention your username or anything though).

@ Something to keep in mind for your upcoming video, I hope it’s filled with actual evidence and not just circular reasoning or appeals to faith.
@@AnotherVieweralright I just read all of your comment. You seem to have misunderstood me in multiple places. Your stance on science not being proof and such is exactly what I was trying to say. As for the rest, you brought up good points that I will make a video on. Such as evidence for the Bible being true. It might be a couple days, maybe sooner, but I hope you get a chance to watch it and maybe we’ll talk more after that. Thanks for commenting and watching brother
@ Something to keep in mind for your upcoming video, I hope it’s filled with actual evidence and not just circular reasoning or appeals to faith. I’ll keep an eye out, but fair warning: claims about the Bible being "true" are going to need more than scripture quoting scripture or vague historical references.
Also try and avoid the "spider man fallacy" as well, where you bring up locations that are known to exist, and then assume that any supernatural stories about them are also true.
So, you deleted my comment? That really shows confidence in your beliefs, huh? :)
