I have a suspicion though that while you are leveling, equipping the highest item power will make your dropped item power increase. Just like gear score in tje division 2 for example. So while leveling you find better gear every couple levels anyways. I wouldnt worry about BIS stats and so on before I reach max level too much.
How do you value Damage reduction VS armor? There's a codex aspect that grants armor as you hit (Aspect of Disobedience) and another that gives damage reduction (Aspect of Might). I get armor reduces elemental damage (by half of what elemental resistance gives) and mitigates bleed effects. Does Damage reduction mitigate everything?
@@DonTheCrown Thanks. So if I had two pieces of gear where one had a stat giving 100 armor and another gave 50 damage reduction me thinks I would take the 50 damage reduction.
Question: I am level 44 now. I have a level 30 legendary armor with additional 3 skelton warriors, an armor is bout to replace it with higher power and armor Level 40 without legendary attrobutes. Which is better?
And here I was wondering if I was the idiot when I heard big time PoE Content creators saying the gearing is as simple as "green number equals good" just like it was in D3.... I just remember thinking to myself "surely +12 flat armor on these white pants can't be an upgrade over having +1 skills and 2 open sockets.."
This seems to be the perfect game for you. Considering I know you from your PoE days... then u moved to lost ark and now we have this Diablo Themed Lost Ark clone
Thanks Don! Very good insight into early optimization of preferred attributes.

@@HawkNocturnaloh, isit not online then? I thought you could play with people online as a multiplayer, my bad! Still stand by statement 😊
@@Lorcrono arpg.. People calling this an mmo have no clue.. Sorry. you’re lucky if u see 3 people in the cities.. Come on dude.. Be logical.
@@HawkNocturnal So you can't play multiplayer online?
Very helpful Don, keep it up man.

Huge info right there.

Might is really strong, but you have to basic skill all the time. Removing basics from your build is likely a standard endgame goal.

can you inspect ground items? i remember in the last game you could see it once you pick it up.
no you cannot
keep up the good work

If you need those skeletons probably the skeletons otherwise hope the new armor has better stats overall, just item level isn't the biggest deal
Am I tripping or does no one else have the Stat comparison show them the % up or down how do I get that??
advanced tooltip options in the settings
why my items dont show such stats? how to activate such visual function?
check advanced tooltip options in settings

Nah just people being anti-other games
Melee in this game feels great.
this exact thing with items makes me not like the items in Diablo4 at all, it's absolutely crap itemization in the game
another comment, dont worry, 3 left in this playlest as I type this hehe :)

happy to play a game where everything isnt 6mo+ old from another region, but so far D4 feels more like Skyrim ARPG than anything else
