Has appeared in other movies either with or without Adam Sandler.
I was sure you were going to enjoy this one. Such a fun movie. And when you've watched a few Sandler movies, you'll see some familiar faces like Rob Schneider (the "You can do it!" guy). These are people that he's been friends with since he started in comedy and he puts them in almost all his movies.

I never understood critics hating on this one. Sandler has made many, MANY infamously terrible movies, so why hate on him for this one? And sure it's low-brow, but it's not like that's not relatively true of what comedies THEY grew up with.
The coach in this movie is played by Henry Winkler, famous as "the Fonz" from the show Happy Days... he's in a lot of Sandler comedies but hasn't been in much else since his hey day in the 70s.
My favorite is when the guy say Deastlyildo... He's saying Dildo, it's a made up language... He says dildo.. Even if it's not that, that how I've seen it all of my years of life.. that's how it will stay..

I never understood critics hating on this one. Sandler has made many, MANY infamously terrible movies, so why hate on him for this one? And sure it's low-brow, but it's not like that's not relatively true of what comedies THEY grew up with.
I thought it was great, it's just fun comedy
The coach in this movie is played by Henry Winkler, famous as "the Fonz" from the show Happy Days... he's in a lot of Sandler comedies but hasn't been in much else since his hey day in the 70s.

My favorite is when the guy say Deastlyildo... He's saying Dildo, it's a made up language... He says dildo..
Even if it's not that, that how I've seen it all of my years of life.. that's how it will stay..
He's speaking Cajun. It's an actual language, very tuff to understand.
Something fun too: at the end, Bobby's dad Roberto is played by the film's director, Frank Coraci, in a cameo.

@@AwesomeUSMovies it’s ok, I understand the not seeing movies. I grew up in the middle of nowhere Missouri. If I didn’t have a sister 11 years older than me, to corrupt my youth, I’d be the same. But how did you live on a farm in the 70’s and 80’s and not hear Jerry? Now that surprises me more. No Guitar Man, Amos Moses, She Got the Goldmine (I Got the Shaft), or When You’re Hot, You’re Hot? Do you have a music channel?
It's too bad you thought you needed subtitles for that coach nobody can understand and rushed to turn them on, because I noticed that they were left on and could see you reading the subtitles instead of watching the movie.

I say to my boss all the time "Not only will I do it for you coach, I will....I will do it". Please watch Mr. Deeds. It is one of the most underrated Adam Sandler films ever.
