1963 VW Beetle revival project - Episode 9 (Transaxle clean and oil)

Continuing from the last episode we have the new boots installed now lets get the transaxle cleaned up and change that oil to ensure it's fresh after sitting for who knows how long.

I bought a suction gun from NAPA for tranny and axle lube. Bonus: no more spilled waste oil trying to dump a pan full into a funnel, just suction it out and right into waiting milk jugs.

Yeah the pump went in the bin after this job as the hose was all brittle and came off all over the floor, ugh 😑

Use GL-4 for transmissions with brass synchro. GL-5 for differentials.
