My swift 2020 and Wagon R both have same K12M series engine... so there is no much difference between them...
But new swift comes with Dual Jet engine and company claim 23KMPl in swift while 20 KMPL in Wagon R

So there is 3 to 4 kmpl difference between manual and automatic transmission

I drove
Alto k10 manual-50K kilometers
Xcent manual- 1 lacs kilometers
Swift AMT-10k kilometers
As per my experience if you required comfort go with AMT and if you required good pickup go with manual.
Both have same mileage.
AMT also have good enough pickup but sometimes i feel lag. This lag can be avoidable for me.
AMT is for calm driver.
@@raviautotech thanks Ravi Bhai for your response, i am new bee when it comes to driving a car so auto is the Only option for me, a bit consufesd between Hyundai grand i10 nios sportz amt and Maruti Suzuki Swift Xzi amt variant, on road price difference is not that much between these two, i want to have good driving experience with auto transmission along with decent average.
Grand i10 nios is also a good option for you.
My suggestion is to drive both car atleast 10 kilometers then decide.
I never drive grand nios AMT so i cant tell you about it but swift has very well tuned and intelligent AMT gearbox.
Got 16.69 km mileage in swift amt 2020 with 4 person and luggage for 4 people with ac is it good mileage on highway maintaining 100 kmph

It depends on your driving pattern... If your driving algorithm is perfect you can get upto 19-20 KMPL.
