If we couldn’t, we wouldn’t be instructed to. So it’s doable, and Mary was chosen out of all the women to house the Son of God, and God sent an Angel to tell her she was highly favored by God Himself. She was pure. She had faith. She took the persecution for God’s sake, for His will. She was precious enough to carry the Savior, and so obedient to God, and so we consider her purity of faith and quick obedience a definite form of holiness. She’s not a redeemer, she’s not the Lord or God, but she deserves honor and respect-and calling her a holy mother does that. It’s just a way to honor her. ❤
