I love how this specific song fits better with all the glamour she has now than the vibe this song had with No Doubt playing it. I love the show footages of this song with the band but this song like this just hits differently, I liked a lot more.
Sometimes I feel that she has destroyed all the classics of no doubt and that she flushed her former colleagues down the toilet, filling everything with her pop style and glamor. Maybe I am wrong.
Actually I think her style as solo Gwen very much evolved with No Doubt. Even their later songs like "Hella Good" and "Hey Baby" are not really similar to anything before 2000... more kinda poppy sound. Of course there's Hollaback Girl, Rich Girl, Let Me Blow Ya Mind, or her song with Moby... which I couldn't see No Doubt performing, but why not? Her solo stuff to me is like a spin-off of the band.
My goal in life is to see her sing This fucking bop one time at least before I die

@@javier4646 nothing wrong with feeling that way, you can still consume the songs the old way. Personally I love both Gwens.
Define "too far"... are you a former member of No Doubt or something?
