Does the massage seat help calm you down when you are sitting doing nothing with a perfectly functional engine that won't run cause of a cheap Chinese emissions sensor?
Put the jd18X engine in a 10RX. The 640 is their most popular 9 series , but customers dont have any option to get bigger. Big acre farmers want bigger tractors. 700-900 hp. What are you waiting for?
Being a 1st gen dairy farmer and buying equipment from my local JD dealership was a hassle and a half and not to mention the price vs case and kubota... great piece of equipment but just can't agree with the price.
I’m so tired of these comments, it’s ALL tractor manufacturers not just JD. I bought a smaller Yanmar tractor recently and all I’m allowed to touch is fluids and filters. If I do much as tweak a bolt or a fastener anywhere I’m booted off the warranty
Remoteable tractor and all kind John Deere product,,also exhaust fume reductor for better air arround farm could adopt on actros Daimler,,nice to help John Deere,,thanks
So when is Deere going to get a 673 hp two track to equal the Fendt? When is Deere going to get a all glass cab on the 9Rs & 9RXs like the CaseIH Steigers already have?In 2000 CaseIH put out their Steiger all glass cab.Even New Holland & Versatile has a larger all glass cab.
They look great, just don't ever try and fix the one you bought, our good friend JD has completely changed course and no longer takes pride in the fact that an ol 4020 keeps running because us dirt farmers are self-sufficient.
Emily, your local dealer would be a great resource to work with to find the best solution for your needs. If needed, you can find your local dealer at Deere.com/Dealer.
What would today's farmers do without their creature comforts? In the 1980s I ran a Caterpillar D6 Series C from the 1960s in eastern Washington wheat country, and unlike today's computerized equipment, it was dependable all day, every day. Didn't have a seat warmer, lumbar support, cameras, computer screen, or internet access, and yet I still managed to pull five 12-foot IH drills, six rod weeders, Noble blades, 33-ft disc harrow, and spray rig. Today's farmers wouldn't last 10 minutes in the old Cat.
Thanks for your interest, John. Please contact your local John Deere dealership for pricing information as prices are set by our individual dealers. If needed, you can find your local dealer at Deere.com/Dealer.
That four track model you can hear in road gear for over a mile. The noise being made I suspect is the gears in the trans and drop box from the cheap straight cut gears I suspect Deere is using. Noise is energy being wasted. Straight cut gears are cheaper to make. I remember the roll out of the 8400 series, and we were told the tractor cost a third less to make than the 4960. Then in the same presentation we were told it cost about 30% more than the old model. Entire buildings Deere used to hobb gears in are now sitting empty or demolished. Funk cuts their gears last I knew. Deere has to rely on their quality control and parts avaibility as well. That was the day I said good bye to JD. I bought my first Caterpillar shortly thereafter. Best tractor I have ever owned.

Is that an expensive brand ?
When do we get the 9M series?
Why would you want a 9m

Sweet tractors. Nothing runs like a Deere. If it ain't green... It ain't mean!!!
That hasn't been true since about 2001. JD has become a scam.
The best machine

Why would a farmer prefer one 9 over another?
But is John Deere still preventing people from repairing machinery that they own???

Man, if that ain't the truth. Disgusting how all these working man brands have been overtaken by out of touch execs, and hipsters.
I need the 9th 830

I couldn't even afford this in Farming Simulator XD
This is great and all, but when are y’all going to make equipment that is affordable to the little guy?
1:32 😂 and even these are pretty expensive
why would a little guy need a massive, 500+ horsepower tractor meant for large farms?
Like I'll ever be able to afford this lol

So you’re telling me they lied during the presentation and are cutting costs despite letting entire buildings go to waste?
