So, I saw your recent short. To me the issue with AI art is that these AI programs are trained on many different kinds of images, including art from human artists. Then they make an image based on that learning. But the companies who own these AI (and the creators who use them in videos) are not paying the original artists for essentially putting their art into a machine to teach it. So that's the sort of, abstract moral issue with it. The more practical, everday issue is ... eventually AI art is going to get good enough to do any style, and do videos, and be indistinguishable from human work. And if businesses use that, then human artists ... like Kyle Ferrin for instance ... will be out of work. Wouldn't the be a huge shame? Now, this wouldn't be the first time a new machine has made a job redundant. But most of those machines at least made things better for consumers. For example an automated loom was invented in the 1800s that could make fabric (and clothes) faster than a human with a spinning wheel. Human spinsters went out of work, but clothes became more affordable for everyone. But AI art doesn't really improve anybody's life. So we would be putting real human artists out of work ... for no benefit to us ... just our own amusement.
If you use only blue dice you are also way less likely to get hits. Red dice will hurt you but they will smash your opponent at the same time. It can be worth while to blast your opponent with red dice if you outnumber them. Blue dice have sides that guarantee you will get nothing.
Our first game I kept declaring empath bc I had all the psionic cities. I raided anyone that competed with it. Could do about the same with any resource. Camp it out and watch for piggybackers
I don't totally agree with your statement of construction being the weakest suit. It's the only one that allows you to build more ships and enable vast majority of plays in this game. Ships are a sparse and crucial resource.
I would counter that you don't always want to build. It can make you a target and it can provide free targets for your enemies to raid. You are also limited by starports and build spaces, so you can't always build, even if you want to. Your repair action is limited by having something to repair. So there will be many situations where the actions on the card simply aren't useful. I've never had that experience with an aggression card. I can use it much more readily.
@@LegendaryTactics Overall good video but I tend to agree with uber here that you are underselling building a bit in your video. Another thing you say is that you should only have a couple starports on the map, but that is not necessarily the case. Each starport means another ship you can build which if timed right can be a victory path esp. if the other player(s) have a weak fleet. And you might want 2 on one space because you can build up groups faster and catapult the group and save move points potentially. Lone ships are dangerous for defenders. It's all really dependent on the cards you are dealt and the map state of the turn/round.
Great video - thank you for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching! We hope it helped!

You'll be pleased to know that I didn't use any AI art in this video.
Its the same as what humans do only much faster.

Ok where did you get the little lights from please!?
Amazon! They're submersible too. You twist them to light up and there's a remote to change the colors.

How is this video 1080p? Looks more like resized 480p
has some digital zooms, no big deal.

There are definitely times when having construction cards sucks. I played a game where I was totally fucked over by construction cards.
@@rottnpeachone build action creates one ship. Spaceport only affects location isn't a multiplier.
