On business number 2 of leasing buildings it needs someone with enough money to lease for like 5-10yrs Ugandans the moment u do business in their building and it works after your agreement they increase rent or take up their buildings and do the same business there

Its actually good to give chroloform to your money as you accumulate it especially for people who find it hard to accumulate money. Once you have got your real estate e.g rentals over time brick by brick and say it takes you 5 years, then even if you decide to sell, the rentals will give you one big chunk of money at once which you would never have been able to get at once or in afew installments. The assumptions of doing plots subdividing and selling is also fine but he doest explain how you accumulate the capital to buy the big plot to start subdivision. Its a chicken and an egg situation, which came first

Depending on your context, their will be a specific set of ideas that you can explore. And land/real estate may be one of them. We only need to realize that investing is a long term thing and success usually doesn't come fast.

The only thing i discourage young people from doing is building your own home to sleep in while you are 20-35 years in urban areas. Whatever way you look at it, it doesn't make any financial or economic sense. If you are based in your village, then it may be different for you. Infact you may need a small personal house out of necessity because you want to become independent from your parents and thst there may not be any rental house options. Also as a young man stsrting up in your village, having your own home adds credibility to you in the eyes of your lenders, suppiers etc and makes you look like a mature dependable, responsible person
