You are going to love that Peris Japonica! I have one in the front yard in the shape of a tree and it is just stunning. Glad you finally found the perfect spot, I thought we would be here all day watching you dig a hole for it. Ha Ha!!!
“Burning the garden down and starting over”, thanks for my morning smile. I have felt that way before as I trying to plant in my clay based rocky soil here in Virginia. I have to amend my soil with everything I plant. I would kill for that beautiful black soil you have. Love your new table filled with cuttings. ❤
Good morning. You bring back memories of me planting my plants in my front garden with the stupid tree roots. Thinking I found the perfect spot then hit a root that makes it hard to plant. Gardening is fun but at the same time frustrating because plans constantly change on the spot. That is what I would call winging it. Enjoy your day.
Loved the realness of this video. It's not always easy and there are going to be issues. So glad you didn't hit the water line or you really would have lost it
Burning the garden down 😂 I too was about to lose my mind when trying to help my grandson landscape his yard. Tree roots, pipes going where? Well we might have six roses in a group oh welllll. 10:26 L
Your plants are together and so organized ,great job!!Sometimes it just doesn’t work the way we plan ,to plant where we want ,japonica is so beautiful, can’t wait to see it growing😊
Everything is looking so green and lush! I like that shrub and love the idea of having it in a tree form. Thank you for the introduction! I have tons of seedlings waiting for my zone 7a in Massachusetts to warm up. We had a mild winter followed by a stubbornly cold Spring. Love your videos and your garden. ❤
Been there, done that! Lol Like where it ended up. I love those shrubs…they are beautiful. I don’t get enough filter sun for one or I would probably have 3.
Beautiful plant, Robbie. Sometimes the struggle bus is real. LOL
Tell me about it 😂🙄
I love your channel. You always make me smile and lift my day. Love and happiness sent from the UK. Xxx
I’m glad you are enjoying it! 💚
"I'm burning the garden down, starting over"😂
Lol…gosh I know…cracked me up!!!
It’s my go to line when there’s a minor inconvenience 😂😂

It’s my go to line for even the smallest of inconveniences in the garden 😂
And we are very lucky with our soil here 💚
Thanks Robbie. It’s always something isn’t it! 🌷💚🙃
It sure is 😂🤦🏻♂️
Oh my word it is absolutely stunning and should make it here in Iowa too ... definitely a MUST have.

It can’t always be easy 😂😂 but at least I didn’t hit that line 😂
Your soil looks rich and healthy, here is mostly red clay.
The japonica is pretty, I had several in my old garden.
We are very lucky with our soil here, surrounded by orchards that take good care of it. 🪴

It happens more often than I want 😂
Love your content! Does Japonica grow well in containers? Might be a way to put it in the location you originally wanted?
It definitely would, but making sure to pot it up every few years 💚🪴
I’m a new viewer. Can I ask what zone are you gardening? 😃
Hi 👋🏻 zone 9a
Plan C? Oh my!!
😂😂
Remove the invasive privit and let the Piers Japonica take its place in time. It will be beautiful - in time.
I plan to remove all the profits from our property! They are the worst year around!
