"I was a made guy. You figure it out from there." Put simply, what most people have heard about the Mafia is that to become a made guy you have to "make your bones". That is, perform a dispassionate contract killing. Now historically, if I recall correctly, some guys were very rare exceptions and didn't have to fulfil this part. Naturally, Michael is so likeable that strangers hold out hope that he was one of those exceptions, but everything he says seems to strongly suggest he wasn't. I get that he doesn't understand the "fascination" with the question but in all fairness, it is a kind of elephant in the room.

Michael hope you read this comment. I have a question for you. I was watching a documentary on the "Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald". As the songs says " Superior it is said never gives up her dead", because the water is so cold that bacteria never forms or grows that causes bloating, therefore the bodies never surface. Lake Superior is about 350-400 miles away from the restaurant Jimmy was last seen, Lake Huron is much closer. Jimmy's body could have been put on a boat in Lake Huron and then taken over water to Superior, or by interstate in the trunk of a car directly to Superior to be dumped. If I were a carpenter how close would my theory be to striking the nail on the head?

Exactly, what do you expect form life just by sitting at home commenting on youtube videos, go out, work for it, earn for it. JEZUZZ
@@lalruatatochhawng7715 i do work for money. I work a full time job in a w grocery store. I have "had" side jobs that paid cash.
I was just stupid as a young adult financially and ended up paying for it later in life.
You’re 1 of the few people in this world that I still admire .
Especially with any Hollywood affiliation and or any fame .
Michael comes across like a guy you've known all your life, great man.
As a war vet myself, thanks for answering/not answering the question of killing. I respect that.
Really disrespectful to ask if he’s killed someone. Have a little respect.
Uhuh ... respect.
... right
I was thinking the same thing.....
I mean hes an interesting guy but its obvious he did alot of fucked up stuff and most likely did kill people
Respect for a killer?
@@Phillipx90 can people not change ?
Honestly love watching this man stories never get boring
I like his end of story messages. I wish I heard his message at 18 years. old
Michael didn’t have to fear anyone. His father was Sonny Franzese. ForgetAboutIt!!
....Until Sonny put a hit out on him. ForgetAboutIt
FUHGEDDABOUDIT.
Walter F.Carey owned Albany island in Michigans upper peninsula. There was cement finished 1975 the same night Hoffa disappeared. There was also a runway.
The workers were told leave and when they came back the next day the cement was all done.
I would love to hear more about stuff that happen in upper peninsula of Michigan.
Yous guy have any connection to the Huron mountain club in big bay?
I literally love this guy he’s so cool and awesome and probably has so many stories of the mob. Because kids like me think that old mobsters are cool and lived the cool life but what we don’t understand is that people were in the mob because they had to be and it’s actually really dangerous and most people die.
I guess it's only fascinating to people who live in those boring flyover states.
@@Thaone15 I think the fascination comes from decades of mob films (which, last time I checked, are not made in or by people from flyover states) that have given people a distorted, highly romanticized view of the mob.
@@scottgun what I'm trying to say is, living in the Bronx, I know several people involved with that life. Ive hung out with those friends in known mob owned restaurants. I've never once had a conversation about murder with the guy. I've known drug dealers who are killers. Again, never even think to ask them questions like this. So, I'm sure the people who fantasize about that life, have never been around it.
@@scottgun I like the lifestyle as well, but the idea of murder has never been romanticized with me lol. Again, when you live in an area where you see things like this, it wouldn't turn you on like someone living in Iowa perhaps
"I'm a retired investor living on a pension"
Happy Birthday to your son, Michael.
jesus i still can’t get over how good you look for 69. don’t mean to remind you of your age but your actually a handsome man (not trying to sound weird)
Born, raised, and still living in Jersey City, NJ, I grew up hearing and believing Hoffa's buried in the Meadowlands and to this day my buddies and I still argue about which cracks everyone up.
I hope on Michael’s deathbed, he gives out a notebook with all these type of secrets and answers to many questions like the Hoffa one. Maybe he could release his final book with all these secrets and answers to big questions. I hope he does, anyone else?
I doubt it. The loyalty of these guys exceeds the grave.
@@ct7567CaptRex Maybe, I still hope so
Silly, his family will still be alive after. Why would he want to harm them from the grave?
@@akaroze His wife and children I doubt were in the life, and I doubt any of them would be arrested and imprisoned just for association to a criminal as well. That isn’t how our justice system works. You can’t be imprisoned for being related family members to a criminal.
@@JonSmith-oy4bi I'm American. I know that's not how our system works. I'm talking about retaliation from people outside of the system.
PLEASE TELL US ABOUT HOFFA TELL US ABOUT THE TAPES!
God bless you Michael. Your translation from a mobster to a pious man is very commendable.
knocking on 1 million! great work.
Why haven’t they done a movie about you Michael? Love this channel by the way
I’m a little late getting here but I made it. I’m enjoying your videos.
Keep up the good work Michael! Love the videos!
I believe there's questions that apparently get asked repeatedly that common sense should tell won't get an answer.
I can imagine speakers on this subject get really tired of continuously being asked and most probably don't know, the few that may can't / won't tell.
Asking anyone if they killed anyone is just disrespectful and that should not happen.
Somethings cannot be answered, some won't be and some should never be asked.
Thanks for sharing Michael.
Great insights! Clearly a very sincere person when it comes to sharing his info about Hoffa etc. He’s not about selling out or he would have released the tapes already and made lots of additional coin.
Glad to hear you are a brother in Christ
I'm disappointed with Jimmy Hoffa, he voted for Biden
Lmmfao 😆
The "opening" of Capone safe, I was watching it with my grandfather... and he said that those are either retaining walls for Lake Michigan or the Chicago River. "How do you know that Grandpa?" I asked him. "I built a bunch of them."
Never knew till now you are saved. Praise God.
Keep The Faith Michael.
If I were a carpenter how close would my theory be to striking the nail on the head?
being a full Italian I would love for him to make some cooking episodes
I very much agree 💯💯💯 and recipes as well if they’re not secret ones.
Probably show us his olives with stones in
While I have always found that life interesting. It’s not a life I would EVER want to live. I do enjoy the stories that Michael tells.
Well said brother Michael. God bless. 🙏🏾
Michael is like a wise uncle I wish I had.
Michael, I doubt you’ll read this yourself, but if you do, I LOVE the entrance music to your UA-cam!!! I’d love to know who composed it and how I opus get him to do the music for my gaming channel? Love your content, wish you the best in your success! God bless!
Everyone knows Sally bugs from the genovese family buried hoffa in moscato's dump in Jersey

We do serve an incredible God who can forgive. And forget. Peace no one else can give
"I was a made guy" = of *course* he killed 1+ people.
He can never admit it openly because he's never been convicted + thousands of other reasons. Now leave him alone, guys!
I definitely find myself saying “people, let me tell you something” when I am addressing my co-workers about an issue.
Jesus Quintana agrees.
Forget about it.
