The lives of people from two different social classes never intersect. OMG! Is there anyone like Prince Zhao in this life? He was so good, right from the beginning till the end. He loved Aoyi so much, even when he realised he couldn't have her. He did so much for her and Qingliu. He is a true definition of Love and Loyalty. (He was even handsome to boot). Prince Jun, my all-time favourite (From Eternal love to Legend of Fu Yao).
I've been craving some happy ending!!!

I've always wanted Lai Yi to play the lead role and he nailed it in this series from beginning to end I'm so happy for him. Thank you Lai Yi, Bai Lu and everyone who worked hard to make this drama what it is. Do not be discouraged even if it is underrated and keep doing what you know how to do best
I like Lai Yi, hope to see more quality dramas series from him. Good looking guy, great actor. Beautiful eyes and expressions Same with Bai Lu, she is good, great chemistry with Lai Yi. Rest of the supporting team is fantastic. Entertaining and enjoyable. Highly recommend fun from beginning to end. Lots of comical and funny scenes. Excellent plot, wrapped up with a healthy message, life not about high or low class; it is about enjoying life to its fullest, doing what you do best, be yourself. What is power living in a web of lies, plots, living in fear, abusing authority. Love the romantic end.

At the end it was Prince Zhao that saved them. I was mad at him before,for joining hands with the prime minister but now I realised that he did all that to avenge the death of his mother and also save Li Qingliu and Long Aoyi. I must highly commend him for being such a nice,loyal,dedicated, sweet and trustworthy brotherhood. 🎉❤

That was a nice ending. Prince Jun had to officially die because that's what's written in the history books, but he secretly survived. Which is basically the opposite of Empress Ki, where according to history the last Yuan emperor fled back north to Mongolia, but his character died in the drama just because the writer wanted it that way.
Oh, and I still don't understand why a gang leader never learned how to fight, but the guy who was raised as a weaver/tailor/businessman is a kung fu master. lol

Since the beginning both of them didn’t like to be in a court, they want to be an ordinary people, who have family n live peacefully. So, we can expect both of their kids will not involve in any court knowledge to avoid any future problem
Ms Du went nuts. I guess that's one way to get out of taking responsibility for her crimes. Prince Zhao is the one who paid the highest price. Good they escaped the royal clutches to make a happy life for themselves and to make more babies.

Perfect drama with a perfect ending ❤ Lai Yi as the male lead then there's nothing to say. Drama is a perfect one. In the other hand Bai Lu as female lead it is a sweet. Well and WoW - what a powerful ending had me broken down in tears - so sad yet such a happy ending: one of the best ever series and totally recommend you watching the whole series. - thank you team actors and actresses, camera and costume - China for the locations and those who kindly translated into English for us to understand the beautiful Chinese language (well some of it any way)
Lai Yi and Bai Lu as never disappoint me in any of their drama, My third favourite character is Xiaoxian her tears is flowing like a river, happily waiting for their upcoming drama.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ok, second thoughts. If the emperor knew all along about the Prime Minister's crimes and had Prince Zhao as his agent, why didn't he protect him better? Bad emperor. He also put Prince Jin and Long in jeopardy when they could only hope their appeal for justice would ring true to Prime Minister's henchmen. Otherwise all those arrows would have fulfilled their intended use. Bad emperor. Also sad that grandmother dowager couldn't know about the happy little family and get to see her great grandkids.

@@benitacynthia4192 I didn't like having to think of Prince Zhao as such a bad guy for so long as he was so amusing in the first part of the drama and am still sad at his ending.
This was a short story but satisfying. Watching The Twin Flower Legend now and find it confusing and slow.
I think emperor didn't has the enough power to defeat the prime minister and also didn't want his son will be marked as a betrayer. So he just told the his son worked for him. But certainly nothing changes in truth that he is bad emperor.
Okay this drama definitely kept me on my toes I loved every single actor the storyline and the ending... Prince Zhao is a perfect definition of pure he was never tainted by anything.... Brvh I was really reluctant at the start but I loved how the female lead stayed true to herself even when she lived in the palace an amazing storyline I give it a 100/10

Great Drama!!! I waited to watch this one until all episodes were available. I love being able to 'binge watch' over several days! I know some will say it wasn't historically correct, but that is not why I watch period dramas. The story plot was good and moved along at a good pace. Each episode introduced something new and left you wanting to see what would happen in the next episode. Plus, I always love a happy ending and this ending gave the viewer an unexpected twist at the end. The directors, writers, and actors did a fabulous job!!!

Love the ending, sooo sick of the predictable dramas. Sad about Prince Zhao but happy Ms Du is finally free of the aristocratic responsibilities. She always seemed so sad and uptight unable to relax and just be true to her emotions and experience life fully.

@@ayaka.i8515 Omgg yess okay so I typically watch 3 genres (idk if this aligns with your taste but you can pick and choose): harem (后宫), idol romance (偶像), and general historical dramas (both fiction like 仙侠 or nonfiction).
Harem:
- Zhen Huan Zhuan (obviously this one is iconic)
- Mi Yue Zhuan (a lot of the actresses are from Zhen Huan Zhuan so it's kinda trippy in a cool way lol - I like how this drama has the harem plotting aspect but also has a pretty strong historical element about politics between kingdoms and stuff)
- Ru Yi Zhuan (this will make you want to throw hands)
- YanXi Palace (this one is interesting but not necessarily super realistic about the harem experience. I would suggest watching this one BEFORE Ruyi Zhuan because otherwise you're not going to be able to sit through Yanxi bc you're gonna hate the main character)
Idol romance:
- LoveO2O is pretty classic and I would watch it just for the lightheartedness of the show
- To Dear Myself (super interesting plot line with three female leads with very different personalities and goals and it's pretty empowering to watch them navigate life - there's corporate intrigue, backstabbing, cheating, etc)
Historical:
- THE UNTAMED (oh my god you actually have to watch this one it's so good!!!!!)
- I Will Never Let You Go (pretty interesting plot and might make you cry)
- Princess Silver (same description as above but chance of precipitation is higher)
- Legend of Dugu (will make you want to kill a green tea bitch and the historical part is decently cool)
- Overlord (九流霸主 in case you get different search results) (gives me 偶像剧 vibes but pretty interesting)
- Princess Agents (plot is kinda all over the place at the beginning but then it concentrates on one thing and it's gooood)
- Song of Glory (I love 李沁 so)
