Even after 10 years using LR everyday you still amaze me with your tips. Today I learned 3 new things that I had never seen even in the in-depth courses in CL or others. Thanks, Matt. Great stuff.
I’ve been following you probably since Lightroom was in the original beta, and you still manage to come up with little tidbits that I didn’t know. I’m always impressed how many little hidden features they coded into Lightroom, and more impressed that you discover and share them
Probably the first "Lr tips you didn't know" video I see where the tips aren't basic stuff anyone using Lr for anything over a few months most likely knows. Congratulations and thank you.
The "last" tip, various ways to balance out lighting using masking, opacity and effects, beginning at 10:30, is really all new, complicated and very useful in landscape work. thanks Matt K.
This was almost like a test. I've used lightroom since it was released, and thought I'd see just how many of the tips Matt showed I already knew. Turns out - I failed miserably. 0%. You're still the man Matt, thanks for these! Awesome!
great video. Normally these only cover very entry-level Lightroom tips that everybody already knows. But all of these were new to me. Thank you so much
Always appreciated Matt, great pointers for LR. More the better. As usual, there's multiple ways to do the same thing in LR. Use which ever you remember or works best for your work flow/style.
Can't remember the last Lightroom tips video where I learned something from every tip (well, I knew the masking tip in adjustment brush but I'd forgotten it). And they weren't just trivial things that I might never use. Really valuable video.
Nice video Matt! But did you know that you can also adjust your brush size using the "shift-click" method. So big brush at one side and click, go to another side en make you brush smaller, hold shift and click again. Perfect straight, but from big to small :-)
Same. I thought that I knew most everything in LR, but there were definitely some surprises (graduated filter sliding whaaaat?). Great tips. New sub here.
Mindblowing. I thought I knew pretty much about Lightroom, then I watched a couple of your videos and I realized I know nothing. These are really PRO tips. Plus you’re a great teacher and your explanations are really detailed! Subscribed
This was a really great video. Thank so much for making it, especially the slow pace your took describing and showing all of the details. Really nice. I just bought the newest iPad Pro. I’m very curious to find out if these cool little tricks work with the keyboard folio and the new pencil (when I get those two two, lol)
Great tips, thanks Matt. I particularly like the magazine cover one working in conjunction with Photoshop. Will have to watch again to see if I can 'get' it.
Matt - thanks for a very instructive and helpful video. So much to learn with LR and you put your knowledge across in a way that makes it easy to understand and follow. Have a good day....
I'm no master at Lr but I usually know a few of the tips presented in these videos. I knew one. Wow! Thanks for sharing. And I like that you demonstrate a scenario for the tip. That makes it more meaningful.
Thanks for these great little tips Matt! One question: What is the difference between “Match overall exposure” and syncing the exposure through “Sync Settings”...?
The way I see it is that "match overall exposure" adjusts all sliders differently to produce the same look in every picture (almost the same histogram) whereas "sync" applies the identical slider adjustments to all pictures and therefore results in different looks
Wow, I didnt know any of them and I have watched hours of Lightroom videos.... I can't wait to use some of them to make my workflow more efficient. Thanks!
I know you posted this video in January but it popped up my recommended. And I don’t know what else to say but thank you. Number one tip blew my mind. I will definitely be using these
Loved this video Matt. I was one of the folks who purchased your Logo Toolkit, and since one of the points you made here was about PNG files in LR, may I please ask you if there is a way to import your logo into a LR photo, but make it a different color, and last, to have the blend modes active, like shadow, and color overlay like in PS?
Thx Matt, love the tips! There seem to be loads of great hidden features in Lightroom, do you figure the out by "accident" or are they actually documented somewhere -- specifically the shortcut keys like in the last tip?
Wow, so often you see movies with that title, and then you're dissappointed because you knew all of the tips. I didn't know any of them! I didn't even notice the big "previous" button (I always did it via the menu to copy settings)! Big thanks! Regards, Stevie Wonder.
Great tips Matt. Do you find out about these through your Adobe contacts or do you spend your evenings reading the fine manual? Hope you come to Nature Visions again soon.
Hi Tom. I find them in all different ways. Usually from Adobe when a version first comes out. Plus, I spend countless hours learning the software and poking around, so that helps :-)
Most people clickbait us with the word "probably", you were modest with it. Well worth watching. Thank you.

This is still the best guy for LR and Photoshop out there. Nicely done Matt.
The "last" tip, various ways to balance out lighting using masking, opacity and effects, beginning at 10:30, is really all new, complicated and very useful in landscape work. thanks Matt K.
I have watch a few of your videos, love your tips and appreciate your thoroughness in explaining.

Ha! Thanks! :-)
Great tips! I only knew one of those. Your teaching style and clear demonstrations are excellent. Thanks!

Good stuff Matt. I knew about tip #1, but not 2-5. Always worthwhile tuning in.
In particular, tip 4 for 'quick auto-mask' is great - thanks!
I knew most of it, but the CTRL/Option while brushing, great tip! Implementing that one right away. Thanks Matt.
These techniques are amazing, I can used all of them daily. I've taken LRCC classes and they never showed me these techniques. TY!
Can't remember the last Lightroom tips video where I learned something from every tip (well, I knew the masking tip in adjustment brush but I'd forgotten it). And they weren't just trivial things that I might never use. Really valuable video.

Foto27 I did. I actually have a video done and scheduled for later this week on it. :-)
GOOD STUFF here. Excellent tips. Thanks, Matt.
Clicked on this video expecting to know most, if not all of them...I didn't know one. Great content, thank you!
Same bro, those tips are incredible!
Same. I thought that I knew most everything in LR, but there were definitely some surprises (graduated filter sliding whaaaat?). Great tips. New sub here.
Same here. Makes you feel humble! ;)

Dude. That first tip is killer!!
You have just changed my life with the auto mask adjustment brush tip!
Great tips, thanks Matt. I particularly like the magazine cover one working in conjunction with Photoshop. Will have to watch again to see if I can 'get' it.
Ok, I’ve been using LR for a loooong time. A few of these were definitely new to me! Thanks Matt!
Thank you Matt, I use Lightroom alot and today I learn 3 things I didn't know... You Rock!!!!!
Matt - thanks for a very instructive and helpful video. So much to learn with LR and you put your knowledge across in a way that makes it easy to understand and follow. Have a good day....
Great tips Matt!! Thanks!!!
Beautiful explanation. Keep up the good work of sharing knowledge. Thanks
Thanks Matt! Those were really useful tips. I'm sure I'll refer back to this video soon. Cheers!
Those last 2 were awesome tips. The opacity slider is something that I always struggled in LR with.
Very useful tips! The ‘previous’ function I didn’t know, and also the shortcut for auto masking!
These are awesome tips, Matt! I don't recall seeing them in other tip videos. I like how you provide context for using a tip.
For once a tips you didn't know in Lightroom that was actually valuable to me. Thank you! #finally
Thank you, Matt. I use LR every single day, but today you taught me several things I did not know!
Matt, Good Job. You go straight to the point and show examples. Thank you very much for sharing these tips.
Real helpful and rare tips! Well done.
I'm no master at Lr but I usually know a few of the tips presented in these videos. I knew one. Wow! Thanks for sharing. And I like that you demonstrate a scenario for the tip. That makes it more meaningful.
Every tip you gave makes my life much easier when using Lightroom, Thanks a lot!
Great tutorial as always, Matt. Thanks for the tips.
For someone like me who shoots brackets a lot, that 'match total exposures' tip is da bomb!

Yes.I also answered it in a question above if you want to look at that one :-) @@hanswi336
Wow, I didnt expect all of this. Great info

I know you posted this video in January but it popped up my recommended. And I don’t know what else to say but thank you. Number one tip blew my mind. I will definitely be using these

Hi. You can try using the Split Toning settings to change the color in Lightroom.
Very nice video, useful tips. I knew most of them, but not the ctrl key while brushing. that was something new I learned. Thank you again.
Love all your tips!!
Awesome tips Matt! Thank you. Tip #4 is really helpful for me and I appreciated seeing it!

Boom. Mindblown. Thanks man.
Wow I did not know any of these tips. Sometime I learn one or two, but I didn't know any of these. Thanks Matt!
Thanks, great info. on the first tip, would syncing all the images for exposure only give the same result?
Hi Kirt - Nope. If you look through the comments you'll see I mentioned it here and you can find a longer answer. Thx.
Awesome tips, Matt!
Wow, so often you see movies with that title, and then you're dissappointed because you knew all of the tips. I didn't know any of them! I didn't even notice the big "previous" button (I always did it via the menu to copy settings)! Big thanks!
