That sounds like a good deal. I was tractor shopping and found a IH 1086 that fits the size of my farm. I paid the same and will probably put the same into it. If all works we both got what will work for are needs. That JD 86 look great.

I tried putting them back on the other day but twisted a bolt off so waiting for parts. 4430 will just be loader/yard tractor which will be nice to move seed and chemical totes/pallets around
Iafarmer good. Once I find my own tractor I’ll put fenders on it haha I think they really make a 20-60 series look great. But I’m rather particular. If I truly end up inheriting the 4020 and 4230 they will have them too.
Usually everything is disk ripped in the fall so just level it off once and plant. Some custom work i didnt get done might have to be disked but gonna try to just field cultivate.

Its gonna be different. The old 44 has planted every crop since 1979 so its probably time to give it a break. Lol

Do you disk your stalks then cultivate or can you go straight in without disking
