Thanks Elizabeth. I was there when the wall came down. We drove all night to get there, crossed over hugged a bunch of people, then turned around and drove home - everyone needed to be back at work the next day.
Thanks Elizabeth, I agree 3 days is best. Did you see the colored plumbing pipes that were above the ground about 20’ high? We couldn’t figure out why they were there. Also the German bretzels are very good! I’m hungry just thinking about them.
Yess right! ☺️ And yes the colored plumbing pipes you see throughout Berlin. I have heard that they are there to carry groundwater from construction sites to the Spree river as Berlin is basically build on a swamp so they have to lower the groundwater level while building. I guess they made them pink to bring some joy to people as well 😅 Ah yess I especially like them with cheese on them! Thank you for watching!! 😊
