I love this era and line up of the Misfits! The Glenn Danzing era wrote the best songs but, the 90s Misfits had a lot of high energy and stage presence, I wish I was there! The 90s Misfits was like Pantera of punk rock, keeping the genre alive while grunge was killing everyone else.
This was a great recording of that show.I've heard/seen so many recordings where its all just a mushy wall of sound. Miss this line up. Got to see both American psycho and famous monster tours live. All were great shows! Just glad they've kept it going for the fans no matter the line up. Misfits forever!!!
I've said it in another post but I'll say it again. I was at this concert and it is probably the best concert I've ever been to. Despite being ear-splittingly loud, the band were amazing as was the general atmosphere. When Jerry Only came off stage and played guitar right next to me, that was a personal highlight.

I went to see the Misfits in the 90's and i was deaf for literally 2 days after, just had a ringing sound in my ears. I wish Michale Graves would come back, but Jerry Only thinks people are there to see him. its a joke now
I want your skulls i need your skulls i want your skulls i need your skulls I want your skulls i need your skulls i want your skulls i need your skulls
i still got respect for Jerry, but devils rain....come on weak sauce. i haven't completely turned my back on 'em but for me without Graves or Doyle it just aint the same.
I have a question about Saturday Night because I have always thought it was written about Amy Winehouse. But this show is from 1999 so obviously the song was written earlier (at least before this show...) Can anyone please clarify or am I just lost here? Thanks guys:)
As the band has always had the horror genre as inspiration, I've always interpreted Saturday Night to be written from the perspective of a serial killer talking about his victims.
Wow, thank you! I never would have thought of that even though I know the whole horror as well as conspiracies situation. But for "Saturday Night" he would have needed a crystal ball or something... I need to listen again and see what I feel. It still seems like a more "sensitive" and/or sad song to me though which was present in most of Graves work that I know of with or without the Misfits which is why I really respect him. For example, that song he wrote about the Columbine shootings... it's catchy to the point (similar to Metallica's "One" ) that it makes you feel guilty singing along or rocking out in any way to it. He could have gone the the way Leathermouth went with "Fifth Period Massacre" but he didn't. He has a sensitivity that I like and thank you for giving me something new to listen for in this song.
What an awesome show, thanks for the upload 😁

Why would you think this was written about amy winehouse? Just because he says amy?
The beginning of the end. Someone should have grabbed that mic from Jerry and beat him with it, "NO! not for you mang".
Bkn
In 35:50 he forgot the music kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk lol
