Isles fan here....Let's dial back giving Roy credit until our PK and PP improve....PK is last in the league and PP is near last. Over the last 25 PP's we have giving up more SHGs than we have scored. Let that sink in. A BIG reason for their success lately (besides Varly of course) has been that Pierre Engvall has remembered how to play hockey over the last 4-5 games. (not sure what happened in the first 77 games of the season but...) he is skating hard, not turning the puck over, passing great, forechecking.....great effort all around. Pelech, Romanov, Palmieri, Pageau, and Reilly have all been playing extremely well too. (No reason to mention Barzal and Horvatt, they are absolute studs!!!! And Varly of course!!) Moving Cizikis to the Horvatt/Barzal line has been a great move. We need to get Noah Dobson back for the playoffs. He is a big piece of the offense. Nobody is excited to play the Islanders....I'll tell u that.
Isles need to smash Mika for that VICIOUS slew-foot on Palms. Should teach Trocheck to stop diving too. He acted like a 2 legged chair after that push from behind. If Rempe plays as stupid as Lily Lav talks, the Rags will get mauled. Martin, Lee, Pulock, Romanov, Bortuzzo, Cizikas and Clutter will squash Trouba, Panarin, Mika, and a bunch of others. There's no question which team is more physical. Rempe will get tossed as usual and then the war starts.
