Fair play you set up to press us and not give us any time on the ball, seems to be the way a lot of teams are trying to beat us now rather than sitting back with a low block, as your manager said just the quality in the final balls and finishing missing.
@@joeswift5296 Our biggest problem this season is a lack of goals. We had 11 shots in the first half, Birmingham had 2. They scored 2, we scored 0. That is why they are top and we are near the bottom. Of course they were the better side - I didn't expect anything else, bearing in mind the vast difference in the circumstances of our clubs - but despite the defeat, I think there are still a few positives to take from today, especially the potential of Joe Hungbo.
Based on today, surprised by Wigan’s position in the table. Played very well throughout, especially the first 20/25 and the gaffer is right in the it was the clinical finishing of May and Laird having his best game and finally getting the contributions that Chris Davies wants. I personally like how you played and reminded me of us last season when we played decent but just wasn’t scoring. Hopefully you get this right and climb the table as you’re definitely one of the better teams in the league. Good luck for the rest of the season and KRO 💙🤍

Well as a Birmingham fan I would say if you had taken your chances early this game would have been very different. Some bad luck which always seems to go against you when you are down. 3-0 was flattering to be honest in terms of chances created if not in possession. I know Maloney rates Lyndon Dykes come and get him, personally I don't think he is good enough!!! Good luck the rest of the way.

😅Was expecting a goalscorer/striker to be there on the 1st of Jan. What happens, we get rid of another striker in Josh Stones. So in the last twelve months thats Lang, Wyke, Humphs, Magennis, Kelman and Stones gone with Hugill and Taylor arriving. Hugill hasnt been good and Taylor is not an out and out striker. What is going on at all?
