Just to answer the question because I keep getting asked about this. No I will not be keeping this promise to reupload the video with the ending. There are a few reason why but the main one is that I now record in 1440p and these old videos are in 1080p. Upscaling this would make it look poop.

I think a nice idea could be cutting out the cutscene from your other video to turn it into a standalone video, then adding it to the playlist between this video and the next? That way, we don't need to hunt down the ending on your channel and can still experience it, without making this video look like poop!
I have an idea for another series on ark it would be called something like the master zoologist series and the goal would be tame all the creatures on a cluster of all the maps (so you can have all the creatures) and instead of fighting bosses as usual you tame all the creatures. And than it can be a guide type of thing on how to tame each creature (that is tameable) Like if you want syntac to see this
I got to say Syntac, I've been a regular subscriber of yours for almost the last 3 years now and nothing has been as impressive/intresting as Ultimate Ark. The amount of time and effort put into this series is unmatched, and you deserve all the support for it plus some. I'm excited to see what Aberration, Extinction, and Genesis have in store for you. My idea for another boss in scorched earth is the wyvern king that you need to fight to get another artifact to fight the manticore and it can do all 3 wyvern breath

I bought ark when it came out and it was unplayable, unloadable even and I remember when scorched earth come out and it was by far the coolest map and systems the introduced. I've throughly enjoyed watching this series. "im new here I just binged this part in 2 days" I wish there was one too. I can't wait to watch aberration.

Crazy as it may seem, I feel that bringing an ending to scorch is not something that WE deserve, but something the DLC and ARK deserves. I, unlike some really appreciated scorched. It was their first DLC. They introduced soooooo much new stuff in Scorched. That's were we first got our Wyverns and who doesn't still say AWWWW, when you look at those Jaboas. It was a glimpse into what was to come into future DLC. It was the first time desert was introduced in the environment. We had ice, we had jungle, and we had water.. But, we never had desert or weather affecting our game play. Sure the map is small and minimalistic in comparison to the ones we have now. But, when they brought out scorched, I knew then that they were in it for the long haul and would strive to always bring out quality experiences for each of us to enjoy together or alone.

I think you were correct about the platform at the end having a use, the manticore has 3 holes (2 eyes, mouth) and there are 3 artifacts. It'd be cool to have an ending there.
@@bluegowaffles1615 Trendy sued Wildcard for Steiglitz breaking the noncompete agreement he had with Trendy however the lawsuit settled for a fraction of the 600 million Trendy originally asked for as non compete agreements are very strictly scrutinized so Trendy probably had a very weak case but Wildcard probably wanted to avoid the bad press while it was promoting Ark rather than fighting the lawsuit in court. TLDR Trendy sued Wildcard over an issue it didn't wouldn't win on at a time when Wildcard wanted to avoid bad press that would raise questions as to its financial viability in order to get Wildcard to settle.
Ok, not tryna complain or have a go at Wildcard. But you'd think it would be pretty easy to add an ending to Scorched, like less than a weeks work. All they would have to do is make the alpha Manticore drop some sort of artifact that can be used to activate a terminal in the city south of the mountains. Thats where the cutscene that ascends the player is triggered. It just doesn't seem hard in my opinion. They could make so many players happy, and even get a lot of love and attention from their community if they did this. It doesn't make sense man. Dang it Wildcard!
In the lore, there was supposed to be some ruins that lead to the console that Helena uses. What if there's a cave, full of creatures and wyverns or something that leads you down into the console with high level creatures and maybe even high heat. Could end with a giga or an alpha deathworm or two in an enclosed area before leading to the console where it ascends you. You put in the Manticore Trophey and bam. You ascend.
Each Ark has an Overseer, much like the one on the Island. The Overseer, when beaten, is the one that allows passage to the next Ark. So, the devs would need to add in a Tek Cave and an Overseer fight. And a while ago, one of the devs mentioned that back when they were constructing the map, they intended to have the entrance to the Tek Cave be at that coliseum in the desert. The grate with the manticore insignia is where the entrance was supposed to be.
It would be awesome if they made it so that when you defeat the manticore, the sand gets blown away and the city gets completely uncovered. Then they could add lots of new lore and stuff hidden in it to explore. Then they could have something in the coliseum to take you to aberration.
Like what you said in another episode about how you are adding geniuses (I can’t spell) to Ultiment ark. I think that it became a weekly series it would connect better and not have a 10 month gap in between the two new maps
I remember the Scorched Earth controversy was why I held out for years on picking up this game. By that point I had been so disenfranchised by the swathe of early access games abusing the label to sell an unfinished product without any ramifications, and I genuinely thought Studio Wild Card was the most egregious case by release a DLC to an early access game. Fast forward to a year ago and I decided - on a whim - to pick the game up while it was on sale (80% off I think). After playing for a few days I began to realize that the primary reason Studio Wild Card kept the early access title was to finish what they originally set out to achieve, a fantastic game centered around taking dinosaurs. Scorched is still my least favorite map, but its still a strong entry in the line-up despite the history surrounding it. Unfortunately I'm 3 years late to this party but it's still great to watch these old series and reminisce about the early days of Ark.

That was a great episode. It would be cool if a modder created a ending for Scortched seeing how Wild Card won't do it.
I think the ending would be the overseer or whatever sends you to aberration to investigate it’s breaking or Rockwell’s rampage
