- Today we are finally challenging the Great Mountain, otherwise known as Dragonspine. But we kinda need a pyro character to do it...
Pulls decide! Rules:
1. The first 4 star character you get will be the main on one team and the first 5 star - a main on the second team (in the Spiral Abyss)
2. Only use characters you pulled for
- exception: you can use starter characters while doing archon quests

I think you should definitely use xiangling for her story quest, since its blocking you from other features in the game
the domain was designed for you to trial her so i think there's no other way unfortunately :(
Late but I did most of the domain using amber so its probably possible with other pyro characters
Fun fact: Dehya is the only character that doesn't die on freezing! Insane luck btw :)

The banners for Phase 2 of Version 4.2 got fully revealed and Xiangling is in them as a rate up so you should be able to complete the domain.

Fun Fact: If you do Furina's charge attack she can heal you and when you charge again it switchs back
They said they know but their team will lose a lot of its damage that is why she didn’t do it
Xiangling will be on Ayato and Cyno's banners so I suggest waiting and trying to get a copy of her from there 😊

@@kazekori9593 yes because of one of her talents that says “ When her HP is less than 40%, Dehya will recover 20% of her Max HP and will restore 6% of her Max HP every 2s for the next 10s.” :)

I don't normally comment but first : congrats for finally having a pyro character ! And a good one for dragonspine exploration too !
For the abyss you were telling that you don't have a second healer but you do. With charge attack Furina change to a healer (with long hair) or to a sub-dps (short hair, the default one) + her burst scale for the two : it does increase heals and dmg, so you can do the burst to have better heals with her if you are really low on hp because of her ^-^
But now that you have Barbara it will be a good healer for a Furina team because she heals all the team with her burst + hydro resonance and that's really good ❤
On pyro note (I forgot xD).
Xiangling would be good and she's one the next banner. So you could wait and pray to have her. I hope you will
The good thing about dehya in dragonspine is her talent to regenerate some health at a certain point. So you don't even need to light any fires. She'll live.
Btw, you can collect all the geoculus, you need geo only for 1 which is extra anyway. So if you're curious there're 2 geoculus kinda locked behind the geo monuments. One is in Dunyu Ruins locked behind the pyro torches and geo monument puzzle - this one you can't get. The other one is somewhere at Mt. Tianheng near ruin hunter. There's also a geo monument that you need to activate to create a path from floating platforms... except you don't need. Actually you can use the wind pinwheel on the other side that you used in the Archon quest, activate it with Sucrose, ride the wind but turn the opposite side towards the geoculus. If you use tall character - you'll be fine.
The rest geoculus are easy to get if you craft windcatcher - which i highly recommend doing.
And with that you have maxed out Liyue Statue of the Seven. And only 1 geoculus on the side - which is an extra anyway.
Just saying.
Xianling will be on the next banner,so maybe you can try to get her there

I started playing Genshin around the same time this series started (exactly a week before, then the algorithm recommended this series). It's clearly not supposed to be a tutorial series but it's helped me a lot because of rosters in use and general vibe of the series. Plenty of guides out there but a lot of them are dry and joyless or too memey that 1/2 the time you are trying to figure out memes instead of figuring out the game. Been thoroughly entertained while picking up a lot of tips and tricks

You should wait for the rate up banners because xianling is in one of them and you could complete the domain that way you don’t have to cheat yourself for this series
You should do the Xiangling quest with Xiangling, even if you pull Amber or Yanfei there is a puzzle door after the one in which you got stuck that is impossible to do without pyronado.
Also, Furina is a healer in case you forgot.
And you actually can finish the Xiangling quest without her, just use Windcatcher. You were on the right path. But if you need more specific guide you can watch Moosashi or other people that do challenges. It's not that hard to skip the whole thing altogether.
I think it's better to try everything before giving up.
if you havent already tried, use a bow character in dehyas field to light it up. if not yeah, use xiangling
you can click on the key you’d normally use for normal attacks to speed up dehyas burst attacks !!
Wait for the Ayato/Cyno banner and pull for xiangling instead of just using her on the trial (only because she willl be on the very next banner, so the waiting isn't that long)
So for Dehya‘s Burst if you spam NA on her she attacks wayyy faster!!
I love dragonspine once you explored a bit and have decent pyro then it's ok to wander around I sometimes go there just to listen to the music
you can bypass xl domain in this video it's shown "Domains WITHOUT Elements? Completing Xiangling Story with ONLY Jumping | Traveler-san #8" I think it would be a nice challenge to try to do this
there's a part in summeru arcon quest where you need to go with nilou from A to B and it's apperentaly not guarded by anything in terms of going anywhere on the map and it's in a state where everything is unloaded meaning statues, waypoints, weather being sunny everywhere that includes dragonspine and no shear cold and in that state dragonspine looks fricking beautiful with no fog and sunny weather
its actually possible to climb around xiangling's domain without a pyro skill like guoba!

It's about the first time I have seen somebody genuinely excited for getting Dehya. Just recently I got her from standard banner too I was really happy about it since she was my last missing standard banner character. And I actually like her. Not much the design to be honest, but fighting with her is fun and she can clear her talent domain quite fast, she's getting her talents fully leveled up this weekend.
Oo that's so interesting! I always hear the opposite, that people love her design, but not necessarily the playstyle! 😍
You can escape deyha's burst by jumping-
And also furina can heal if you charge attack with her :) idk if you already know that but i though of tucking it in this comment

Hey Katodeling! Did you know that one of the quests at the adventure camp can help with sheer cold? Its the one you talk to the chef for. It will give goulash, which will decrese the speed of sheer cold when you eat it. Also, you can forge a gadget with fire flowers and starsilver that will pop a temporary warming seelie anywhere. When I explored Dragonspine, these saved my life many times.
Good series. I find it funny and cool that you genuinely got Dehya and became happy. Jokes aside Dehya is the perfect character for DragonsPain. About Xiangling, just do it. If something is blocking the fun than that something is not a thing we will judge you about.
For the Xiangling story quest you could wait a little in the next banner she will be there

I’ve been hoping you got Dehya since the start! And now that you also have Furina it’s actually really good that you got her!
Not only is dehya able to make you be able to complete a lot of exploration (both of her passives + pyro) she’s able to help you tank more damage and is a good support in general for the account.
Though yes there is 100% WAYYY better supports but her constant pyro for off field, damage reduction, and her self heal, makes you just wanna run around with her in overworld constantly.
She may not be the best for abyss right now but her damage def has become really good now that she has someone to finally help with off field hydro for vapes outside of kazuha burst + Nilou ring, and furina just fully helps dehya with damage.
She’s definitely a huge improvement for the account!

I for one, think that you should be able to use any trial character in a domain where it is set up for them.. because it is what it was exactly made for. Give is 1 or 2 shots without them, and if its just not going to happen, use the trial character. People want to see your account grow, and they come for you and your personality. Not a 'rule' keeping you from progressing.

For healing maybe use Furina for healing ? Like before getting the burst on cuz even healing increases damage there I think And also I think u should use xiangling so that u can unlock coop ... Ywah anyway iam Excited!!!!
for the domain for xiangling, you simply can just use amber to shoot that one that you're stuck at since it stays lit up and then when you have to activate the last four which is required to all be lit up at the same time since if you tried to do one at a time, it will unactivate, then use xiangling's pyronado to light it up-- i would say this is an only instance of using characters that you haven't pulled for
Kato! You dont need xiangling for that quest. You can do it just by jumping and gliding. Moosashi made a video about it which you can find on his channel.

In the Mountains quest took me so long to complete when I was an early player 😭 I remember calling it the worst quest ever. After I took over all other nations, in the mountains looks like a baby now./ar 60 here 💕also congratulations on Dehya!!
As long as you’re not using her to fight, I think it’s fine to use Xiangling if it’s just to throw out Guoba for the puzzles.
Ayato and Cyno's banner is right around the corner, and xiangling is a character on it
ofc you would porbably have a higher chance of getting ayato or cyno but i mean still, it's an option
Just wait till the next banner which is ayato and cyno, xiangling will get a rate up there!
congrats on dehya! 🎉 ngl it was pretty funny seeing you complain about your ping considering i play on ~250 at all times (with lots of high spikes) since there’s no oceania region for me to play on LOL
for spiral abyss, idk if you ended up realising, but diona is a healer on the first team (xingqiu is secondary), and furina is actually a really good healer for the second team. you do lose some dps with her healing but it's worth keeping the team alive. also since you mentioned that her healing is kinda slow and bad, it'll probably be fixed if you ignore all other stats and stack complete hp on her. the healing will still be slow but it'll be a lot
also you could've probably tried gliding directly on top of the pyro monument in xiangling's domain with dehya, but idk if that would've worked
A trick with dehya ,when you use her burst spam click and e to attack a little faster

If you use charge atack with focalors is outfit change (long hair, withe pants, etc) and her e become in a mini oceanid that heals (if you charge atack again she goes back to normal)
Well to be fair xiangling is on the next banner... so you could get a constelation there

This is insane! I also got Dehya from blue wishes the other day! I had to realize she only self-heals on Ascension 4 so I had some grinding to do. But I have explored half of Dragonspine since then! Together with C2 Baizhu, I don't have to worry about my health at all. :D
Hoyo supports your series, because in Cyno/Ayato banner there is Xiangling 🤩🤩
If you click while in dehyas burst she hits faster, and to cancel it you can just jump
100% get it done however possible!
