I am glad you're making live commentary of games, and at a longer time control. I used to watch Kingscrusher when he played on ICC, very entertaining. I think he used to be the biggest chess UA-camr ?
Anyway, the blunder was obvious. I was really suspicious of the knight self-pin as the bishop couldn't help reinforce the situation on the B file. Once the knight moves, 3 attackers vs 2 defenders, you lose material, unless there is a magical trick.
Still, given the ratings, I thought maybe I was wrong. This just goes to show that it's hard to balance playing fast and taking shortcuts, with being too cautious, playing too slowly.

"I know watching is different from actually playing", so true.
I watch this video, and think,.. but i also hear a real-time analysis.
Obviously, I missed some other things. Things that would have made me lose the game.
I hear Antonio's analysis that provide me lots of ideas, hints and suggestions. For me, as an unrated hobby player, it's informing to hear why certain moves are *NO* good idea.
If some player, with whatever rating, explains to me why some move is *bad*, i take their answer (most of the time ;) ), if they explain it to me. bad == bad. No matter how little bad it is,
If some player, with whatever rating, explains to me why some move is *good*, i am much more relying on that player's expertise. Is the move good against a 1000 rated player? Is it good against a 2800 rated player?
It is more difficult to show that a move is good than to show it is bad.

Yes he might see it but you at least you take out his bishop pair and put huge pressure on him. If he blunders something he is dead

These games are just another facet of my watching chess. Its purpose isn't the same as your other videos. I watch the other ones to see the right way whereas I watch these as what a 2300 level does, what they are faced with, but mostly for learning and entertainment.
The most intelligent people can see things through the eyes of others. Chess is a game that uses that.
You see through my eyes when you offer what is commonly done or other things that are trivial to you.
Except when you go through what the engine says. At that moment you look back through your eyes and see how you could have improved.
I wish you could see what the engine says through my eyes. In other words, please slow down the engine recommendations so I don't have to have split second timing with my remote pause button.
I don't mean to take forever, just space them enough so I could pause if I wanted to instead of zipping through things that are obvious to you.
You sometimes seem like you feel obligated to adhere to suggestions. You know you are not.
I like your channel very much and watch every day. The clock really makes me appreciate what they do.

1 - imagine WESLEY SO, THE NEPHEW OF BOBBY FISCHER, wins the candidates and then beats liren and then becomes the 1st ever player to become both classical WFRCC & classical WCC
unlikely unless the candidates suddenly becomes
    - classical 9LX
    - classical armageddon w/ auction
    - both of the above
    - knockout (either single or double i guess) w/tiebreaker not rapid but classical armageddon w/ auction
it's still unlikely even if liren drops out and there's a 2nd place thing again but still a fun thought lol.
    2
besides as far h uncle bobby is concerned.
2a - wesley has nothing to prove in regular chess anymore
2b - wesley has nothing to prove in rapid 9LX
2c - wesley has something to prove in classical 9LX if it's next gen. imagine hans vs wesley in 2024 classical WFRCC finals. it's like bobby fischer vs anatoly karpov (bobby fischer vs garry kasparov was the 2019 WFRCC finals, proving ultimately that bobby would've EASILY defeated garry in classical 9LX)
    3
ok i've been complaining for 2 years that wesley didn't get a wildcard in the candidates for 9LX reasons even though fabi & hikaru got wildcards in the 2019 WFRCC quarter-finals (equivalent of 9LX candidates) for chess reasons.
(yes, hikaru too. 2018 unofficial is only 2 players & both were chess wildcards. but unfortunately no, magnus indeed deserved a wildcard into the 2019 WFRCC semi-finals)
but i guess that's now moot.
    4
but still wesley should get a wildcard in the 2024 WFRCC if it's going to be classical (at least 60min) again like 2019 not rapid in 2022 (32.5min)
    5
finally, magnus garry hikaru daniil, veselin, liren, piers morgan, george bush are bad guys (allies of evil). wesley, bobby, hans, sergey, vlad, nepo, andrew tate, donald trump are good guys (axis of evil).
so they're both evil in different ways: allies of evil vs axis of evil as described in:
    ARNSi0cPu60
    like tax collector vs pharisee,
like (iran iraq north korea) vs (US UK Japan Australia)
    6
wow i can't believe someone actually reached the end of this comment. well thanks for reading. merry christmas, happy new year, and happy holidays

2nd: Hans Niemann = next Bobby Fischer
    - Wesley So = current Bobby Fischer
    - Bobby Fischer's ghost = old Bobby Fischer
    - Beth Harmon = Bobby Fischer in another universe
Each of these 4 'is a prodigy, had a rather dark childhood and is American'.
    Speaking of Wesley So
Hikaru's (the rapid WFRCC) wife almost beat Wesley So's (the classical WFRCC) girlfriend!
2023 USCC - Indeed Carissa Yip won and thanked Wesley So as her secret second in the 2023 USCC closing ceremony speech.
But in Carissa vs Atousa, Carissa was losing most of the game. Atousa just blundered in the end.

as many a chess games you have analyzed and read books and you can't still see what a normal human being can see. your series is getting boring. Not watching these games from now on. You don't even spot obvious moves or forcing moves that gives you like a winning endgame. Did not expect this of you agad. Making this series boring now.

Yes Queen could take the rook and prevent itself from getting captured by the knight. I saw that and thought you were talking about some other blunder that would happen in the game. @agadmator #suggestions

Nice Game that was funny the promoted pawn coming with Check I was thinking same thing at least he’ll have to give up his Bishops it’s Great when we make a move and something good that we weren’t expecting comes along with the move that’s when you know you’re definitely doing the right thing and on way to winning Thanks for the Game enjoy your day hope to see more 😊♟️

Chess games often begin with theory and end by psychology.
