Berserker + druid/spies/cleric solo up to the chilli pepper reduction.
Mateldas cleric is good too, her downside is the fact that you are so damage dependant in order to heal, this means her stalling sucks unless you got rainbird or something
Rainbird + Druid in Chronicle Cave is a lot like using Black Box + Concheror in TF2. Battles will last forever and you *will* have to play defensively, but you’ll never lose.
That's why Rainbird + Priestess is better. Priestess doubles Chuck's healing with Spirit Link, and triples with a third bird or a friend.

what makes priestess even more OP is when you use spirit link with other classs that can heal, like paladin, and ESPECIALLY rain bird. since rain bird heals each bird, if they’re all spirit linked you are essentially getting triple healing because all 3 heals get linked to the other two birds, so each bird gets healed 3 times per use
But the only problem is that it takes a lot of setup to do that which can be bad when you have to heal but can't. But is very good with brutes or any other high damaging pig.

@@scotterboi9 No but what about things that interrupt that process like enemies that despell although to be fair can be somewhat solved with rainbird still being able to heal. But I was mainly talking with the priestess and Samurai.
Also fun fact, if you'll give chilly to Matilda with active spirit link, birds with this effect will get even more healing

Princess is ironically better against pirates because they are immune to the taunt
Cleric can be good too. The only difference is Princess heals one ally by a lot, but Cleric heals 1 ally by a bit
You can also count Bard which is basically both combined, balanced healing and little healing after each turn

I think where the stone guard really shines is when it is used alongside the blues' marksmen or skulker;
the "weak spot" thing counts as a debuff, and considering the damage up of the stone guard's ability, can provide up to 257% of the normal damage.

The avenger literally Contradicts itself. You need red to be low HP to damage, yet it support ability blocks damage from the shield
barely any though, only 20%, which every class of red’s has a better damage reduction, even the guardian’s attack reduces damage more than avenger’s shield does, and even the stone guard’s effect from the shield is better, the avenger sucks. The fact that the only way for good damage is to be on low health, just sucks. I have tried it with four bird on one of those levels, I had the captain with the 60% damage boost, trickster’s 15% damage boost, witch with 20% health and attack increase, avenger at under 10% health, maxed out and elite, and it barely did that good of damage, it just is bad.
I think to fix avenger they should make it based on the Rage Chili like Berserker. First ability - Every 1% chili filled 1% damage increased
Second ability - Forces pigs to target ally protecting them by 20%. Rage chili is filled 20% faster
Lightning Bird gets slept on, it’s kinda ok in stages with lots of peons but it can basically permanently stall several bosses if they have multi-turn attacks with Treasure Hunters, and also lets you attack with a high damage bird but also get their status buff which is pretty good for certain classes. Also works with Priestess and ESPECIALLY The Blues/Bomb, not many classes that don’t work well with Lightning Bird.

That said, I’d argue Illusionist is just an upgraded version of Lightning Bird when it comes to stalling capability. Have you tried putting the mirror image on both the treasure hunters AND red’s samurai with a stun set? Any boss that has a charge move and isn’t immune to harmful effects will literally be trapped FOREVER (Snor included!)

If you put counter on priest Matilda she has the potential to tag all of the enemies on the field, and this id guaranteed if you use something like avenger, even if you can only have 2 birds in the chronicle caves it’s still a super strong combo

No it’s fine in Balanced. Sure the counter is great in Cave 8 but you need a healer atleast every turn, and you need to shield because you’re probably gonna take massive amounts of damage, so. It’s basic
I'd disagree for the berserker class. in my opinion I'd put it in higher A tier, purely for the damage it can do. yeah, the secondary ability is practically nothing, but the damage is upped by 1% per every 2% of the rage chili filled, starting with the basic amount of damage bomb normally does, so that's a 50% increase in damage, for almost nothing. combining it with the golden chili and the navigator and hook set bonus allows it to quickly dismantle heavy enemies and basically become red's rage ability without using the chili. but everything else I agree with, and I do definitely agree with the avenger class, even though it can reach up to a 99% damage buff, it's starting damage is set to lower than red's average and keeping red on the verge of death all the time is very risky and doesn't do good for scoring stars in the chronical cave.
I agree but still, the supportive ability is very underwhelming BUT the damage is the thing that can make up for it, since it's already the second highest dmg dealing class in all of bombs class (highest - sea dog) it deals a lot of dmg, if you unlock the golden chili you would immediately have a 50% buff to the class and there's weapons like yin and yang to generate chili meter, and a finisher set to deal huge dmg.
I’d put it in balanced, it’s not quite amazing. Also it could be a problem with Wildings, since Rage Chili makes them stronger but also makes Berserker stronger
If you use the Priestess with another multi-hit or multi-target ally, you can pass quite a few ENTIRE chronicle caves! Sometimes, you may need to use the third ally, but usually just the Priestess and the Samurai are my go-to classes.

I use marksmen and priestess for the extra damage. Cleared multiple caves with that duo. However pig pen and immunity is where the third ally is needed and the pigs just get a lot stronger after that.

I always used the Druid, rogues, and rainbird because Matilda and Chuck can heal good and all of them combined can take a ton of damage after every turn.
Don't use them THAT often but when i use yeah, It's really Powerfull.
If you play on arena, sometimes you get enemy with imune effects, so this setup can be op and useless due to the low damage if the effect doesn't work.
Bad against multiple pigs and pigs that deal more damage than you can heal
The trickster is probably my favorite class simply because of the pure support it provides. Takes enemy buffs away and remove your debuffs AND give you a damage boost as a cherry on top! I just love it.

berserker might not be good but hitting enemies with a nuclear bomb every time the pepper is max is one of my favourite activities

Berserker and Wizard (Rage Builder) are very OP together because with a full rage chili and the right bird level, you can one shot almost anything with a normal attack. (50% dmg buff in almost 2 turns)
Not really, unless you use rogue with it or else that strat is just pointless and I would remove wizard for at least illusionist if you want dmg if you want to use a balance team with berserker, you should use
Bomb - berserk
Matilda - druid (for healing and dmg)
Red - guardian or samurai (for obvious reasons)
For cave 24+
Red - guardian (no samurai cus samurai only works well with Matilda (priestess) and blues (marksman) which is for bosses
Matilda - druid or cleric (as I said, priestess is horrible at dealing with multiple targets)
Bomb - berserk (dmg dealing) with finisher set ofc
Chuck/blue situational -trickster and rainbird (both are for negative effects remover) if you need heal use rainbird
One word. Wildlings
9:56 my objection to that is that berserker's unbuffed damage is actually the 2nd highest among bomb's classes (at 74% hp or less it's the highest because at 100% sea dog does more damage), and at full rage berserker's base attack does slightly more damage than Bomb's rage but as single target damage. Its about half the damage of Red's heroic strike, but the thing is that you can spam the move every turn and target any pig you want, while red's heroic strike is not at all spammable (unless your spamming veggie cake) and only targets the pig with the most health left. Like avenger the passive is crap, but I'd say berserker can do enough damage to at least be a B tier class, because unlike the avenger the conditions for making Enrage a powerful move can 1: be fulfilled much quicker (only a few turns w/o veggie cake to get a full rage chili, Avenger needs to loose a solid 30% hp to equal samurai's damage, compared to berserker who technically either needs sea dog to loose aprox 25% hp or to get a solid increase in rage chili but because both damage and rage increase go up at the same time, it will surpass the damage dealt by Sea Dog pretty quickly), And 2: is much less risky (avenger with its conditions for its true potential being met will do much more damage but is also much more likely to get slaughtered). So no, berserker does not do pitiful damage D:
It’s Balanced. Don’t act like it’s amazing or superior, since it’s only good against single enemies, and Wildlings exist so 🤷♂️

The treasure hunters being one of the premium classes that you buy with gold coins also means you have the option to buy its Elite Form. That combined with everything already said about the class makes it god tier. Also Elite Treasure Hunters with Shadow Steps status is just broken, God tier Abilities with a decent chance of taking no damage from attacks at all.
I personally really like Berserker and Wizard for their high damage output. I also think spies with Beep Attack is an overpowered combination. Just my opinion though

Pretty cool tier list. But imo I would put berserker in the middle same goes for witch but overall a great placement for the classes.
The combination of Red’s Samurai and Matilda’s Priestess, along with my Red having the dragon set items giving him a chance to deal bonus damage to all enemies is the only reason I’ve made it as far as I have in the Chronicle Cave. This combo *carries*
The witch is a support class, pair it with a healer and you get pretty good versatility, people just haven't realised that yet

I actually really like the lightning bird, I use it a lot throughout the island, and if I had treasure hunters or just a hard hitting bird, I use it on bosses.

I find Sea Dog and Lightning Bird a good combo, along with a third strong attacker like Paladin.
Use Gang Up on Paladin, attack a Pig with the Paladin then the Sea Dog attacks that Pig as well.
Then use Lightning Bird on the Paladin to make both the Paladin and Sea Dog attack again. Basically 4 attacks in one turn

As a Chronicle Cave grinder who maxed out the caves when they came out in the update i can confirm the Rainbird is the only Chuck class you can use until cave 20 if you dont count bossfights also the starter class of Matilda is really op in Chronicle Caves and i would put it in the A tier and the second Matilda class for me is S tier all the way if you played the game into the Chronicle caves you literally have to use it in the first 13 caves then the Princess class my opinion is its VERY underrated in Chronicle Caves because you can do INFINITE strategies with it and there goes the Canoner hes very underrated hes extremely OP in Chronicle Caves also the Berserker i would even say its the worst class in the game but i dont want people to be mad but i would put it in the D tier and we have the Tricksters i would take the second class of them to A tier because its got EXTREMELY HIGH DAMAGE on the attack per round its really OP in Chronicle Caves too but after a few caves it becomes uselles so it isnt a S tier because of that i would take it to A tier and third class on Tricksters another S tier no need to explain and the Treasure Hunters in my opinion its really just mid so i would put it to B tier thats my opinion bye.

Guardian is underrated af, giving everyone 25% for 4 turns is just overpowered, also combined with the steel set (i forgot its name sorry) it can give 45% shield to every bird. It's a top tier class for alphapig and snor. I also almost forgot to mention his attack making enemies do 25% less damage, which is extremely good for snor. (Also combine it with the steel set + shield , and you get 70% less damage from snor)
Samurai has 50 and 40 % protection Guardian is 25% but the 25 lasts longer (4 turns) it blocks mor3 damage overall. Samurai has a better attack in terms of damage. But the gaurdians low damage buff reduces damage 25% and with the shield. MAaking the guardian better by a close margin

strangely enough the stone guard pairs well with the marksmen of all classes, all attacks go to red, marksmen counters and gets the damage effect on, plus stone guard having double hit pairs well with the damage effect
This actually also synergizes well with the Sea Dog. Red takes the damage, the Blues counter, but if you use Bomb's Gang Up on the Blues, Bomb will counterattack AFTER the Blues. This also works with Red's Paladin class.

using the illusionist matched with chronos set for cave 26 boss is beyond op and tirns him into a godlike timelord! when combined with a few birds that can stun and like frozen paladin and treasure hunter blues def keeper and bards stunning just super op

Berserker is EXTREMELY good at dishing out damage if you are conservative with your chilis but his passive is almost completely useless, it's only good for taking out ghosts before they can revive or peons on the turn you take out a pig with incompetent minions.

I’m not sure if it’ll change anything, but I think this is a fun strategy with the avenger(Red) and cannoneer(Bomb) and rainbird(Chuck) or any Matilda class:
*So basically, you use the “I dare you!” Ability on Bomb and use Bomb’s counter. So you can literally get free hits, but the main counter to this is any enemy that can attack multiple people, but at least you can still get a hit after that, IF you still have the counter*

I think cleric can be in A tier in very late game, considering you receive 10k damage from multi attacking pigs (doom drone, big sailor,snor e.t.c) you can reduce damage by 90% with 3 birds and 120% with 4 (out of 200%). ALthough they are better defense method that nearly everyone didn't notice cleric and choose priestess by it's OP albility
Cleric is Matilda's best option against Pirates in general.
Healing sucks tho.

My best combo is the priestess and paladin with my chronicle cave gameplay, it works pretty well with spirit link

3:56 As someone who has completed every cave, I can say that rainbird gets loads of uses. Excpecially the rainbird + priestess combo in cave 24 and 25.
i agree that Druid is really good at the story mode. I literally have beaten it using only Druid, Samurai and Tricksters lol
I used rainbird, druid and rogues. Lots of healing with lots of fun abusing DOT. Pirates though...

priestess is has a huge advantage and also a disadvantage, priests spirit link can basically boost all healing sources by 3 times and her angelic touch really helps for a long battle but also has a huge disadvantage, she don't have a healing power all by her own so it's best to bring the rainbird or spies into the battle to greatly help her disadvantage

Weird Chronicle Cave strategies that I kinda like
Cap’n + Samurai, for making sure that Red hits like a freight train.
Cleric + Cap’n to never have to worry about HP ever again
Rainbird + Rogues for some Status Effect Funny Moments
Spies + Rainbird, for when you want to bully
ghosts.
Cannoneer + Tricksters, because no, the pigs *will not counter you.*
Marksmen + Samurai for melting single targets.
I disagree with the 2nd take and slightly with the 5th take.
2nd - Healing is still bad
5th - Immunity Caves exist
You should add the pig allies to your tier list because they technically have their own skillset

Compiling chuck, with any class, skulkers and priest can assure you a lot if healing.
@wideskulkerz yeah. I made a 4 bird tactic with priest and skulkers were chuck will deal 5k damage.

Just wondering, how come your challenge runs end in the higher 20s of levels? I played the game years ago and fought the final boss at level 15…
Usually I’ll replay levels to get specific clips for videos, and a lot of the time I’ll need to do extra levels anyways to get snoutlings and resources for classes/items
in reality they increased the amount of xp when gained in a battle
Fun fact: Treasure Hunters can defeat Snor the Pirate while Snor is charging up to call for allies. Treasure Hunters will need a few buffs to do damage.

Priest is too OP like seriously healing 75% in one turn is too busted
With Skulkers and canonneer you can gain invincibility
Princess is underrated as hell. That class technically has the highest healing, also high single target healing makes it viable when you don't have rage chili yet (It doesn't rely on status effects unlike Priestess, pairs well with knight Red.)
Does connecting to facebook still work? 'Cause its kinda annoying to do chronicle with only 2 birds (I save the pigs for bosses)

You need to do angry birds epic but you can’t use matilda (other than before you unlock bomb because you are forced to use her, but you can only use her support abilities there.

I always thought that the hamlets were upgrades instead of classes so I always used the one closest to the right
What I found interesting is that red's knight and chuck' s mage class are supposed to be used as a combo, one taunting the enemy and one doing damage using the lightning sheild.
If you look at the numbers, the sheilds for each red classes given are different
Knight at 55% damage reduction
Guardian at 25% damage reduction
Samurai at 50% damage reduction
Knight is used to deal with singular hard hitting enemies so at the late game where you are swarmed by enemies it is easily outclassed
Video idea: can you beat angry bird EPIC without attacking? (Everything but the base attack is allowed, even rage chilli attacks)
Rogues: it's my time to shine
you cant beat the levels before you unlock chuck, also it would need an insane amount of healing

Sea dog paired with finisher set is definitely S tier.
On the hardest Pig in Chronical Cave 26 (Captain Snor I believe), he does about 25k per hit. Paired that with gang up which gives him two attacks, the lightning bird, so 3 attacks, and time skip for lightning bird and he can attack 5-9 times per round. Doing about 25k (when below half health) is about 125-225k damage per turn. That is insane. Though you are ranking on pure abilities alone so I guess it’s reasonable
This does not include set items, but that also shows that Seadog isn't good without sets
i think i may have thought of a way to make the avenger slightly better.
what if instead of his attack getting stronger the lower health you have, red instead gives a debuff that lowers an enemies attack on all birds? maybe the more you attack the enemy the bigger the damage debuff is?
mage is REALLY good against prince porky and ninja pigs because it bypasses their damage cap and it hits multiple times. (by bypass i mean it does more damage than it should be allowed to do) I would comment on alot of things on this list with my extensive knowledge from playing for 8 years but i dont feel like typing it all lol

@@Frog136 yeah your right. The bad thing about the mage is it needs 3 key bird to be in trash classes to assist it.
personally, i like the spies simply because of the ability to do amazing damage to the target and other enemies. it's pretty good in the chronical caves and thrives in the main world. also the secondary healing ability is based off of your damage, so if you use the secondary healing on say for example bomb, before you use the rage chilly on him, he can gain almost full hp if he's not mega de-buffed. personally one of my favorite classes.
Based on your glee scenario and looking at base damage/hp stats, Bomb would heal around 8.5% of his health per pig. Considering what it would take to get 50% or more, I wouldn't say it's great.
First ability is great, second is alright, cuz it’s random so it’s balanced
