Crazy game! I didn’t see that ending score going the way it did! Such a pro. I would’ve grabbed that common goldeneye for the eventual Toucan Sam bird play, but that’s why you’re there and I’m here.
Thanks! Good point - I'm trying to differentiate between the two, for instance these are all in a separate playlist to last year. Hopefully it's clear with the upload dates as well, but if it's confusing I can look to change it
At 25:18, how come you don't consider dropping the red-legged partridge for the egg and instead do a food? The food could potentially go toward playing a wetland bird, maybe double play in the wetlands if it presented itself?
Gritty game! Did you give any thought to taking nectar twice at the end to potentially tie wetlands nectar? I assume they’d have dropped Gould’s into WL to win it back, but just wondering your thoughts there
Any reason why you didn’t consider scaled quail at the start to pair with the crow in the grasslands? Is it because you needed/wanted more wetlands instead?
Definitely needed to get the wetlands going. Keeping the quail also means I keep one less food at the start, and if Fish Crow is my only food source then I need to keep as much food as possible!
That was me in the game!! Gg Will, a really epic battle!
Good game for sure!

Great game!
Thanks!
Considering fish crow was your main food, that was well done
Thanks!
Brilliant play. I would have discarded the fish crow and never gotten close to 124 on that board.
Wow! Great score and, given the early setup difference, a huge win.
Thanks Alex
Really great game! GG. Can't wait for the next one. I suggest adding 2024 in title since you have some videos from WWC 2023. Good luck!

Love the vids and looking forward to the result of this tournament.
Thanks! Definitely thought about that, just felt like things may get tricky with the egg space, although obviously Hornbill helps a lot there
what a game!
Such an awesome game.

Yeah it wasn't on my mind to go for wetland nectar as I figured my opponent could just take the win there if they wanted
Impressive for a OE grassland.... I basically won't go grasslands these days unless I have a mockingbird very early on
